I Found Uncle’s Letter

As I grew up hearing about Planet, I would have anticipated knowing more about the elusive, invisible floating Object that constantly zips through the Sky at varying speeds, visible only to my uncle—thanks to the specialized Goggle.

I also would have hoped to find that letter my uncle left me, which was also concerning the Goggle.

Interestingly, the day I found that letter happened the same day that I first met with Fleurlanda at the museum.

After leaving the museum, I headed to my aunt's house—she was the wife of my uncle, Dr. Nortreus.

The museum event began in the morning and ended at nearly four in the afternoon.

Indeed, when the clock struck four, I exited the museum, hopped on my motorcycle, and said, “Oh my God, what a busy day!”

I thought, “Let me stop by my aunt's house before heading home; she always has some food waiting for me.”

Without delay, I made my way to my aunt's house, taking in the sights of the beautiful Urban town I adore.

Of course! I cherish my city where I was born and raised.

By the time I arrived at my aunt's house, it was already early in the evening.

I rang the doorbell until she opened the front door.

“Hi aunt!” I greeted her as soon as she opened it.

“Kenley! How are you?” She responded, clearly delighted to see me.

“I'm good, and you?” I asked.

“I’m also very happy to see you!” She replied and smiled.

“Thanks.” I also replied.

“Oh, I’m good.” She told me.

“Thank you!” I replied. “Please, come in!” She invited me in.

“Sure! Thank you very much!” I responded as I stepped inside, and we made our way to the living room.

“Auntie! I was thinking of you, so I decided to drop by for a visit,” I told her.

“Welcome to my home; I appreciate you thinking of me!” She replied.

At that moment, we both settled in the living room, engaged in conversation.

“How is everyone?” She inquired.

“Everyone is doing well!” I answered.

“Okay, good.” She spoke.

“Where did you come from?” She asked, noting my attire.

“The way you're dressed suggests you just came from a party or something.” She spoke.

“You are absolutely right!” I confirmed.

“I just came from a museum where I had to take pictures.” I told her.

“That's wonderful! Keep up the excellent work!” She said to me.

“Are you feeling hungry?”

“Do you need something to eat?” She inquired again.

“Yes! Please!” I responded.

“Alright! Let's head to the dining room so I can serve you some food,” she insisted.

Indeed, she led me to the dining room where I sat down to enjoy a Vegetable Soup and Yogurt separately.

“Would you like a Vegetable Soup?” She suggested. “Yes! I would love to have it!” I replied.

“I also have a sweet dessert, like Yogurt with Grains, okay?”

“Will that be alright too?” She asked.

“Yes!” I confirmed.

She served me, then moved to her room to continue sewing.

But before she returned to her sewing, I asked her, “Aunt Odette! Do you know anything about the invisible Object that many people in town often sense in the Sky but can't quite see?”

“My husband, Dr. Nortreus, used to talk to me about this Object, but I don't have more details on it!” She replied.

“Why?” She questioned me.

“It's just a question, nothing more!” I answered.

“What about the Goggle?”

“Do you know anything about it?” I asked her again.

“The Goggle?” She wondered. “How do you know about it?” She asked me.

“Really?” I responded.

“Oh! My older brother sold it!” She responded.

“Thank you for the food; it was delicious!” I expressed my appreciation.

“You're welcome! Enjoy your dessert!” She replied.

“I'm going back to my room to finish sewing a dress, okay?”

“If you need anything else, just let me know,” she also told me.

“Sure!” I answered.

As I was nearly done eating, I suddenly felt the urge to pee.

“Aunt?” I called her name.

“Where are you?” I called out for my aunt, but there was no reply.

“I’m almost finished eating, thank you, but I really need to pee!” I said as I made my way to the bathroom down the hall.

I moved a few steps ahead to survey the area, but I couldn't see her anywhere.

To my surprise, I noticed something not far from the bathroom—a basement room that was ajar.

“A basement?”

“Where does it lead?” I wondered. It turned out that the basement was my uncle's private workshop lab, and it was apparently open.

Curious about what was inside, I stepped into it and descended the stairs.

Once I reached the basement, I found a table and several boxes filled with photos, sheets of paper, and other old materials, but nothing that seemed valuable was left.

That was my thought as I searched and looked around, yet I would eventually discover something— the crucial letter regarding the specialized Goggle that my uncle had left for me.

“This is a basement, right?”

“But this room feels a bit odd,” I remarked as I searched, hoping to find at least a little something important for real.

Shortly after a few minutes of scouring every corner, I finally discovered a box beneath a table.

I lifted it onto the table and opened it.

“What’s in this box?” I asked as I pried it open.

To my delight, I found a letter covered in a bit of dust.

I picked it up, opened it, and began to read it.

“Oh! This is a letter from my uncle addressed to me!” I exclaimed while reading.

“Haha! I found it!”

“This proves that the museum took something that belonged to me!”

“Thank you, uncle, and I promise you won’t be disappointed!” I said, tucking the letter into my pocket and left the private workshop lab while trying to avoid my aunt's gaze.

After leaving the basement to head to the bathroom, I unexpectedly bumped into my aunt.

“Oh, aunt!”

“I was looking for you and couldn’t find you,” I said.

“I was in my room,” she replied. “Have you finished eating?” She suggested.

“Yes, thank you.”

“I appreciate the food.” I told her.

“You are welcome!” She replied and smiled.

“Do you need anything else?” She asked.

“No, thank you.” I replied.

“I needed to pee so I could go home,” I informed her.

“Thank you for stopping by!” She told me and smiled again.

Was I pleased to see her?

Absolutely! I was also pleased to see her, although I came for food. Visiting her was more than just a casual stop by; I also received an important letter to claim the Goggle that belonged to me.

You can understand that if I had missed that day, I would have forfeited a significant portion of my life.

As soon as I finished using the bathroom, I exited the house and said, “Goodbye, aunt!”, “I'll see you soon.”

She responded, “Hun?”, “Please say hello to everyone for me and drive safe!”

I assured her, “Of course! I will!”

Then, when I got out, I took my motorcycle and went home.

I Planned To Take The Goggle

Do you want to know something about the day I discovered the letter—something very valuable that I found to recover the specialized Goggle my uncle left for me?

By the time I found the letter, I felt it was a fortunate day.

Oh! You doubt me?

How would you feel about uncovering a source that could end generational poverty?

Oh! You must have an inkling now!

Naturally, you grasp what I mean when I say the letter held great value to me.

Well, the day I found it at my aunt's house, I took it back home with me.

It was nearly evening when I arrived home.

“Hun? You're back!” My parents exclaimed as I entered.

“Hi everyone! I was quite busy, but I'm happy to see you all well!” I responded and greeted them.

At that moment, my little sister spotted me and rushed over to greet me.

“Hello, beautiful!” I called her out.

“Did you miss me as much as I missed you?” I asked her.

“I did!”

“Did you bring Ice Cream for me?” She replied and laughed.

“Oh my, I apologize for that!”

“I forgot, but I promise to bring it tomorrow!” I assured her.

Typically, when I return home, I always bring Ice Cream or other girl stuff for her.

Shortly after greeting my parents, who were seated in the living room near the hall, and chatting with my sister, I headed to my room.

As soon as I entered, I went to my desk to begin planning how to retrieve the Goggle from the museum.

“The Goggle is mine, and I must claim it!” I declared, pulling out a large sheet of paper and placing it on the desk, then grabbing a pen to sketch a plan for breaking into the museum.

Indeed, I sat down in the chair at my desk and pondered,

“How should I claim the Goggle now?”

“There are cameras and security everywhere,” I noted.

“I think it's time to figure out at least one way to get in.”

That night, I spent less than three hours brainstorming and drafting a plan until I finally had an idea.

Soon, I found a plan.

“I've got it! This is the best plan!” I exclaimed.

“Now, when should I execute it?”

“I’m not sure, but maybe one day this week!” I replied again.

Then, a few minutes later, I decided to take a shower so I could lie down and get some sleep.
