I had enough of my arrogant and obnoxious boss, Cody Wilcox. So much so that I had made up my mind: I’m quitting my job.

At my wits’ end, a conventional resignation isn’t what Cody deserved – I’m resigning with a bang. I’m going to do it at the office Christmas party. I was going to get drunk, call out Cody, maybe raise my middle finger in the air, and announce my resignation in the most memorable way possible.

Armed with shots of liquor, things were going smoothly as planned. I did get drunk and managed to call out Cody and his egostical ways, but right before I was about to make my resignation known, I blacked out.

And that’s not even the worst part.

When I woke up I found myself in a familiar penthouse—naked on a stranger’s bed. As I looked around in bewilderment, I suddenly realized where I was: Cody’s bedroom.
