stood for. “And that made me fall in love with Daryl,” Jillian said.

In contrast to Jillian’s pickiness, 35-year old Donald from Nova Scotia suffered long from a series of rather disastrous relationships with troublesome women, all because he wasn’t picky about their strength of character.

Before finally meeting his wife, Donald in his younger days would date very attractive women who inevitably proved to have “low self-esteem” (Donald’s description).   One girl suffered from depression and her sole “confidant” was actually her blog, where she even threatened to commit suicide at one point. (Ahe never did so—it was only her way to gain more attention from Donald). Another girl wasn’t as suicidal, but she had a drinking problem.   All the girls that Donald dated were very

sweet and kind to him, for he gladly took care of them, spending time and money on them whenever they would run out of cash to bring themselves to a therapy session.

“After a while, I would get tired trying to take care of my girlfriend,” Donald recalls. “But I kept trying to show her my love. Funny enough, she would say that my love wasn’t enough, and she’d break up with me.  I would feel pretty torn up afterwards.”  Frequently, the women would then change their minds and call him up in the middle of the night to ask if they could get back together again. And Donald would still be smitten enough to return to them.
