Christophe and Kitty each have departed to Pittsburgh and Mobile together, to spend time with their new grandchildren in 2036. Both Ava and Andrea are on maternity leave from their respective positions; Ava is due back at her job sooner, at which time her mother-in-law will do the majority of the day-time care-giving.
Andrea is planning on taking a longer leave of absence from her job, to spend time with Cynthia. Andrea will have her mother look after little Cynthia, in Bay Minette, when she feels ready to return to her job.
Eric is maintaining the focus on his job as a police officer, as that is the occupation he has always wanted to pursue. He has been part of The City of Mobile Police Department for four years.
