Dear Lord,

This story is Yours as is the breath in my lungs, the heart in my chest. You knew me in my mother's womb, and you know me now, humbled and heartbroken, and yet? Fortified by Your love and commitment to me. Thank you for giving me a small glimpse into what it must have been like to write the story of the world and allowing me to be in awe of the great and mighty Author.

May this story be pleasing to You and bring all who read it to the altar at Your feet.

We pray all of this through our precious Lord Jesus.
