FOREVER YOUNG

Advertising media in all forms are jammed with advertisements of herbal, chemical, and medical remedies that successfully fight the aging process. For a mere few dollars per month, one may purportedly stop the clock or better, chase the years away. Companies, corporations and partnerships (almost all of a charlatan nature) enrich themselves by pandering to the vanity of men and women alike who abhor what they see in a mirror, and vow to do something about it. Do I have news for them all! Please put on your thinking cap and follow along on this subject.

The good news is that every offspring of Adam may have what the ancient, Spanish explorer Balboa sought in vain in the peninsula of flowers (Florida): the fountain of youth! Of course, Balboa failed, but this secret will not fail, ever! Are you still focused?

Eternal Deity has decreed, and no mortal may change it; the years of our days are threescore and ten, and if by reason of strength fourscore or a little more, then it is soon cut off and we fly away? To whom does this apply? It applies to every offspring of Adam. Every nursing home, hospital, undertaking establishment, and cemetery continuously attests to the validity of this universal truth. So what is the good news I have not yet revealed? Wait, stay focused!

The most provable law of science is known as the Second Law of Thermodynamics! It proves all things known to man are in a downward spiral. Thus individual and universal cataclysm is ever predictable and provable. Even the lifespan of men and beasts. But there is good news, and here it is!

The apostle Paul presents it in 2 Cor. 4:16, “. . . though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.” There it is friends, and it is real, so very real! When one repents of sin and receives Jesus as his personal Savior, his spirit is sealed with the Holy Spirit of God, Eph. 4:30. Then, inward life, spiritual life, never ages because God renews it day by day. When death claims the aging body, that person will step out into eternal youthful life to await the reconstitution of a material body to match that eternal youthful life. Folks who spend a small fortune on hyped and worthless junk, but never discover the fountain of eternal life, and youth in Christ, are destined to be losers for all the eternal eons to come. Men should open their eyes and hearts to the Son of God, and to what He wrought for us all on Calvary; but will not be forced on anyone. So one will either grow old and die forever, or in Christ be young and vibrant in life forever. The offer stands while it is “today.” The ball is in every person’s court!
