AS THE GOVERNMENT TAKES OVER

“Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing? The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together against the LORD, and against his anointed, saying,Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.” Psalm 2:1-3.

Often a small matter is referred to as an outrage, particularly if the substance of disagreement appears over the line of one’s acceptability. But what about national outrage? There is no shortage. Think.

Lies, lies and more lies! Evil and downright wickedness in high places are so abundant as to be expected as the norm while commonly called an outrage. It is indeed an outrage when a single cell organism on Mars would be heralded internationally as the discovery of life while a perfectly formed human being with a beating heart is classified as a thing to be destroyed at whim. It occurs by the millions each year! It is truly a national outrage!

It is indeed an outrage to send young men off to war only to receive them back with missing limbs and disabled minds then reduce them to public begging for a few dollars each month so they can have what they need to rebuild a partial life. At the same time the nation spends billions of dollars frivolously, often supplying enemy nations with billions of dollars in so- called aid. Why should wounded warriors have to beg while such extravagance flies in the face of all that is decent and right? It is a national outrage!

It is indeed a national outrage when those in high places lie, cheat, steal, accept money for favors from enemy nations, and destroy all traces of activity in blatant disregard for the law, then are hailed as someone who might possibly be a national leader. It certainly is a national outrage!

It is a national outrage when rotten leaders hamstring police to allow thugs to burn cities, then ask for volunteers and financial help to restore peace and rebuild. If they alone had to bear the cost of those disasters, there would be far fewer of them. At the same time those who agitate the lawless and approve of destruction remain free to continue their dastardly deeds. It is truly a national outrage!

So evil is called good, and good is called evil. Doubtless it will worsen. But, “If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do?” Psalm 11:3. It must be recognized that Abaddon i.e. Apollyon is breaking down principles of righteousness, and preparing the nations for Armageddon. Then, let all true believers draw closer to God, and pray for His grace to stand in what may well be their finest hour on earth! If they do not do so, that will be the greatest outrage of the age!
