baptism of John, they move away from their candlestick and approval of the Almighty. Heaven still recognizes and blesses the baptism of John, but others are foreign to the scriptures.
FOR THOUGHT: Was it not incorrectly administered baptism that prevented a group from receiving the Holy Spirit so essential to a New Testament church? (Acts 19) Why have there been so many divisions among believers giving rise to contradictory doctrines? Is it explained in I John 2:19? Religious “baptizing” administered by others than the Lord’s churches is not John’s baptism.
