will become Israelites again. May the Lord hasten that glorious day when they shall look on Him Whom they have pierced, know true repentance, and be brought into New Covenant relationship with Him to once again be “Israel” in the sight of God.
FOR THOUGHT: Do you see in the Bible a disjointed number of people in their relationship with God, or continuous flow of God working with His people to a predetermined end? By what line of reasoning does the New Testament church have the nerve to call themselves “Israel?” Having been left desolate by Jesus, what right does the Jews have to call themselves “Israel?”
