So, how far away is the Creator God of heaven and earth? Not nearly as far as Princeton and Jay from the South Pacific Islands. He is only a prayer away, and ready to reveal Himself to such as approach Him in faith with a contrite heart, and a surrender of sinful self to His holy will! This will not always be true, but remains so while time is called “Today.” He is to be called upon while He is near!
FOR THOUGHT: How far away do you think God is from you? If He is a prayer away, does that not mean He is occupying the same time and space as you, even if He is not bound by it? But if something is within reach, but one is not able to reach for himself, and does not have others to reach for him, it may as well be a thousand miles away. God is near, but you cannot reach Him. However, He will help you to reach Him. It is called repentance and faith. Use them!
