The Joys of Spring

The sun was shining brightly today

As I walked peacefully along my way

I noticed a baby bird chirping happily

The mother bird was singing to its babe merrily

A family of Deer were crossing over a golden path

Baby chicks following them eagerly made me stop and laugh

Down by the lazy brook was a bear and its adorable cub

They were so cute playing together in the hayfields having so much fun

As I walked to a county park there were mountains of squirrels gathering accords

Suddenly, I watched a baby Robin being born

What a joyful Spring Day!

I thanked the good Lord for all that he gave

After awhile I danced across a field of daffodils

When I spotted a fox with eyes as dark as the night

It felt like everything would somehow be all right

I felt happy and started singing a tune

Before I knew it, the time was way past noon

The fox gazed at me as I reluctantly passed on by

Then to my wonder and surprise

I came upon a beautiful Ocean front with high tide

Dawn was quickly approaching

I watched the Sea Gulls soaring towards the majestic sky

Upon daybreak I thanked God for being alive
