God has no mercy on the devil, so there is no salvation for him. This can be read in chapter 20 of the Revelation. Fortunately, there is salvation for people—thanks to God's grace and mercy. The gospel is a fantastic offer from the Creator God to all people. It proclaims the good news of the forgiveness of sins through faith in Jesus Christ. Salvation becomes possible—a second chance for all.

The forgiveness of sins is the redemption of a person's debt to God. When you enter a restaurant and order food and drinks, the landlord writes everything on a tab, which the customer has to pay when they leave. It is similar to God, so that every person on earth receives their own personal tab from God. He writes everything on this tab that displeases him (sin). That will be a lot for most people. Because of faith in Jesus, this bill is paid to God. There is no second option. The Lord is incorruptible.

That is why we must not grow weary of our faith. If the debt cannot be repaid, the debtors will be judged. Among them are the fearful and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and anyone who loves lies and acts accordingly. For a certain group of people, God does not accept payment through faith in the gospel. Namely, those who have misused God's grace to lead a licentious life.

The gospel is about living out love for one's neighbor, but where human vices (sins) should not be tolerated. The gospel is not a matter of religion or denomination, nor is it a matter of culture. Jesus Christ is the only possible salvation for people. Religions are human inventions. All sorts of things are idolized, even rock 'n' roll, Harley Davidson, or a football team.

Free will is part of a person's basic endowment. One has the choice to accept or reject the gospel. The light of God shines in the hearts of those who have accepted it, and such people are proof of the life-renewing-power of the gospel. Because of their faith, peace, joy, and hope came into their lives. It was the same for me; I can attest to this. My fears for the future have disappeared. I throw myself confidently into the coming time and look forward to each new day, even though I am aware that the conditions in this world will worsen day by day.

The gospel is a red rag to the devil. He hates it when people return to paradise because they have accepted Jesus Christ. That is why the devil distorts the word of God in order to lead people astray. Satan has a lot of tricks up his sleeve. Jesus is the mediator between God and mankind. The devil thrusts himself into this role and thus becomes a false Christ in order to deceive mankind.
