In sermons about the end times, one event is often not mentioned at all before the King of Kings, Jesus Christ, returns. It is the mighty appearance of two prophets and their battle against the beast that crushes everything. Satan never tells us the whole truth.

The ascension of Jesus can be found in the first chapter of the Acts of the Apostles. After Jesus had disappeared in the cloud, two men in white clothing suddenly stood before the apostles. If you look at this backwards, two men first appear before Jesus returns. According to Revelation 11, these prophets appear in sackclouth and will prophesy for 1260 days, preparing humanity for the end-time scenario. Nobody really wants to hear these tormenting spirits. When they fall silent, people clap their hands and send each other gift packages. What will happen on this earth in the end times?

People are turning away from God.

Evil and lawlessness are on the rise.

People's hearts harden.

For nation shall rise against nation, and group against group.

Wars, epidemics, famines, and natural disasters such as fires and floods characterize the time.

All of this is the beginning of the labor pains; at the end, a tremendous time of tribulation is predicted. This is necessary so that the children of God will stand pure and purified at the end.

The two end-time prophets will prophesy for a certain time and fight against a power that is hostile to God, i.e., against the last world empire (rising from the sea - Daniel 7, Revelation 13). This power is a powerful, ruthless system inspired by the devil that will influence the world. This diabolical system works in an extremely sophisticated way and causes people to turn their backs on God. The anti-God beast uses the media to manipulate people. This brings us back to Jaron Lanier's thesis about the ominous forces that use fake identities on the internet to create a distorted social perception.

Everyone knows that the web is now a hotspot for criminals and the lewd—it has become a dwelling place for demons. My initial enthusiasm for the Internet has long since vanished because speculation and fantasies are presented here as absolute truth. The inventors of the Internet were also very enthusiastic at the time, as information could now be exchanged worldwide. However, as it soon turned out, not every piece of information was true, and that became a big problem.

The internet has become a gigantic cesspool of sin. Won't every Sodom and Gomorrah be destroyed by God at some point? With the appearance of the two end-time prophets, the condemnation of this world begins, which does not make the duo particularly popular with the people. The gala of unmasking begins. It comes to an end with the return of Jesus, when everything comes to light. His reward is with him, to give every man according as his work shall be.
