We are founding a church. But be careful! Who agrees that any way of doing business with a moral or ethical idea is questionable? Money and church go hand in hand. The Bible is interpreted in such a way that you can reach a certain target group. Without any ifs or buts, your own interpretation of the Bible is considered correct. I find that rather presumptuous. Furthermore, it is not necessarily important to have an explanation and interpretation of everything in the Bible; that's how I see it. I already mentioned in the foreword that interpreting the Revelation of John is not easy, as the text is of a spiritual nature, and that a dangerous beast gains power that speaks great things and blasphemes God. In the book of Daniel (chapter 7), it is described as a terrible beast with teeth of iron and claws of bronze. This beast is symbolic of the last world empire; it crushes everything. Anything that cannot be devoured will be trampled underfoot. That should give us pause for thought.

No matter how loudly starving children cry out for bread and water, what needs to be built first? Exactly, a house of prayer! A fabulous one, of course! A pompous house of worship as an expression of the power and glory of Jesus Christ—the Catholic Church has shown the way! And who is financing it? Naive television viewers with their donations. An agency was commissioned to bring cameras to record sermons. With the help of this material, the fantastic ideology of this church is now present in the media. The fact that the account details are shown at the end of the program is clever—ask a cyberpsychologist. Anyone who constantly listens to these sermons will transfer money after a while.

The church as a business model? Of course, in the Middle Ages, this even worked for the witch burnings. Today, the magic of marketing comes into play. As already mentioned, there is a profit motive behind it that should not be underestimated. In Germany, the state supports the construction of church facilities. The postage rip-offs when sending out media and the chargeable service telephone numbers speak the same language, which is the trump card: money! Where money is involved, a lobby is formed. You can recognize a clique of false teachers by the fact that its members repeatedly appear together at various events.

In the desert, Jesus was first shown the reward for worshiping Satan—the kingdoms of this world with their glory. From the sermon (Matthew 5) that Jesus preached on a mountain, we can see what God has to offer people. The Beatitudes are about a heavenly reward for people's inner values, their character, and their soul traits. There are undoubtedly people who owe their happiness to (diabolical) advice that they did not follow. It is a fatal mistake to idolize money. I urge the reader to avoid people with idealized, consumer-oriented lifestyles and follow Jesus instead.

Jesus was able to resist the temptation of the devil. The Bible warns against false prophets. Who could be considered for this role? Let's take a look at a few candidates (serpents). As you know, the serpent was the cleverest of the beasts of the field. So watch out!
