Today man stands on a planet of limitless promise. He has been able to set his foot on the moon. His rockets go flying past the distant planets. He has been able to station satellites in space. He is eager to control the forces of Nature. But he has not learnt the lesson of self- control. His anger flares easily. He becomes an easy victim to temptations of flesh. The civilization he has built is crumbling beneath the burden of his own weight.
The author of this small book believes that a new civilization needs to be built. I have known him – Ravi Melwani (AiR) – over the years. His emphasis is not on words but on life.
I shall not speak, I shall not talk
With all my strength, I shall still walk
The way that leadeth to the Lord.
May this little book inspire many hearts to live the life that is life indeed – the life of simplicity and sympathy and service, of new awakening and self-realization.
