The school of thought that suggested ALLAH equal to the pagan god Hubal was shared by the fact that the prophet never attacked the lord of Mecca Hubal. ALLAH in the Koran is called the lord of Kaaba and of Mecca together and Hubal was erected in a red cornelian statue situated next to the black stone. The prophet was informed about Hubal but never attacked the idol. God at the end result remained divided between Mecca and Medina.
