When the holy prophet (PBUH)
migrated to Medina from Mecca Suhaib left his wealth and reached Medina to be with the prophet (PBUH). His reputation among the Muslims was so high that he was nominated by the Caliph Umar ibn al-Khattab to lead the Muslims (both in prayers and as head of the Muslim community.) He was one of the best Archer Muslims had in those days.
