Introductory Note
After publishing the ‘ PRAYING THE SCRIPTURES WITH
PRAYHoUSe’ website (www.prayh.com) on the World Wide Web, our over 10,000 prayers were said over 300,000 times in less than 2
months, with readers from the United States, India, Kuwait, Canada, South Africa, Philippines, and many more. We received great
feedbacks, and over 90% of our readers feel that our prayers are
excellent; that’s 5 stars out of 5! Many of our readers suggested that PRAYHoUSe came as a prayer book, collating some of our over 10,000
prayers, and providing a 365-day prayer guide. That’s when the idea for this prayer book sprung up; a single prayer book with 1,098 popular prayers from the PRAYHoUSe website. This is the first volume of the 3-volumed prayer book.
This prayer book should be perfect for those who do not have
quick, or constant, or easy access to the Internet, or those who work long hours in offices with no Internet access, or offices that do not permit visiting of random websites during work hours. You can now
have PRAYHoUSe in print, and take it everywhere you go. This book
could be used as a gift to someone who have a struggling prayer life, or those who find difficulties finding the right words to say while praying. We hope this prayer book fulfills its mission; which is to ‘help thousands of Christians around the world pray according to God’s Will that He may hear us all’ (1 John 5:14).

Why Pray the
Scriptures?
The Global Idea…
‘Why pray the Scriptures?’ you may ask. It’s already known
that without faith we cannot please God. The Bible tells us that
whatever we ask God for in prayer, it will be ours only if we believe that we have received it (Mark 11:24). Knowing that what keeps us
from getting the things we want is to just believe we have received it, is that too difficult for us to do? I mean; believe. If having faith as a mustard seed can give us the power to speak to our troubles and tell them to leave us alone (Matthew 17:20), why don’t we sincerely trust God for the things we want? Who wouldn’t want all things to be
possible for him or her as long as they believe God is able to give them what they ask for (Mark 9:23)?
God already knows all that we need even before we ask Him
(Matthew 6:8), but He still wants us to come to Him (Matthew 11:28) and acknowledge that He is God (Proverbs 3:6). When we do, He gives our life a sense of purpose and gives us rest. He doesn’t want us to be anxious about anything (Philippians 4:6). What He expects us to do is to give thanks to Him for all that He has done already and ask Him for all we need in prayer. He wants us to trust Him for the things that we want, and when we do, He gives us with His peace, which is beyond
man’s imagination.
God gave us the gift of prayer because He knows that we will
need Him at some point for we can do nothing without Him (John
15:5)
When we pray to God with faith, we are able to protect
ourselves from the enemy (Ephesians 6:16). Isn’t prayer an amazing
weapon? Many people don’t realize that earth is a battlefield, and
that’s why they underestimate the need to pray. Everyday, we fight
against principalities, powers, rulers of the darkness of this world, and spiritual wickedness in high places (Ephesians 6:12). Isn’t that a lot to fight against? Don’t you think you need the help of the One who has absolute power over everything?
God wants us to pray right, and that’s what this 365-day
prayer book is all about. We want to help thousands of Christians pray right. We want to help Christians all over the world pray according to God’s will that He may hear us all (1 John 5:14). Is there any better place to know what God’s will is other than the Holy Bible? So we have 8

selected and prayed with 1,098 wonderful Scripture verses that cover a vast number of things Christians often pray for or should pray for, such as: strength, healing, thanksgiving, prosperity, relationship, family, protection, and forgiveness.
1,095 of the prayers have been divided into 365 days; and the extra 3
prayers is for February 29 in leap years. Each day comes with three prayers—for morning, noon and night. This is the first volume of the 3-volumed prayer book. It is for the months of January – April. The
months of May – August, and September - December will be contained
in volumes two and three respectively.

Lord, God, You are my refuge and my strength. You are
my light and my salvation. You are my ever-present help
in time of trouble. Lord, You are the light to my lamp,
and Your Word is the lamp to my feet. Father, I ask that
You shine Your mighty light of righteousness upon me and
dispel any form of fear, weakness, timidity, and fright
within me. Dispel any form of unrighteousness,
wickedness, worldliness, and waywardness. Lord, even if
the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart
of the sea, I will not be afraid for I know that You are
with me. Lord, even if the waters roar and foam and the
mountains quake with their surging, I will simply stand
still, and know that You are God, and You will fight my
battle and overcome all my enemies and troubles. In

Lord, often I try to figure out everything on my own.
Often I am led astray and I start believing that I can do
everything by myself. Lord, Your Word makes me aware
that without You man can do nothing. Your Word makes
me understand that Your ways are infinitely above mine,
and Your understanding is infinitely greater than mine.
Lord, from this moment, I promise not to lean on my own
understanding and might. I have decided to lean on Your
own understanding and might because You are mightier
than the mightiest, greater than the greatest, and God of
all flesh, spirit, weak, powerful, seen, and unseen. In
Jesus' Name. Amen.
