Epilogue

I hope this commentary has been spiritually beneficial to you.  If you have never trusted or believed in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior I ask that you come to Him in faith today.  The Bible says, “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household (Acts 16:31).”  It also says that “now is the day of salvation (2 Corinthians 6:2).”  Don’t put this off.  If you die before you come to Christ in faith or He returns to earth as He has promised and you haven’t made that commitment to Him it will be too late.

There is nothing more important in life than to become a child of God and be saved from hell and the lake of fire (Rev. 20:14-15). There is only one way to be acceptable in God’s sight.  It is not by doing good works or deeds.  Only by believing and receiving Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior can you be accepted by God.  Only then will you inherit the heavenly blessings of everlasting life in paradise with Jesus Christ.  As a result of your faith in Christ you will then want to do good works for your Savior.

Perhaps you are a Christian but you are struggling with sin and have drifted away from the Lord.  Now is the best time to commit yourself to be faithful in daily Bible reading, studying, praying, and also attending a Bible-believing and teaching church that exalts Jesus Christ as Lord and God.  We all need this as Christians to grow in our faith and to please the Lord!

Hallelujah!

Amen!
