Wednesday night, 01/12/05 I was singing backup vocals with the band during an extended time of prayer and worship. For the past two years, our tiny church has met in a rented space. We share a common vision: a river of revival in this area. Tonight, as we prayed and sang, we felt a breakthrough in the Spirit. We kept going. The lead guitarist had to leave, but the rest of us kept pressing in. After a while, the music ramped up, and I heard an amazing melody line. I turned around, fully expecting to see someone playing the lead guitar behind me, but it was still lying on the floor. I looked at the rhythm and bass guitarists, but they werent playing those notes. I looked over at the pastors wife, who was sitting, captivated, on the stage. I held up three fingers, with a questioning look that asked if she too could hear the third guitar. She smiled, and pointed toward heaven. Later, I asked the others if they had heard it too. They had. We all knew that our prayers had been answered.

Saturday morning, 01/15/05 After having wrestled all night, to be closer to God, I was wide awake when I heard His audible voice whisper in my ear,“I love you.”

Wednesday night, 03/02/05 Dear LORD,
My church has folded. You have knocked all of the supports out from under me. Yet I will continue to place my reliance on You. I will not replace the supports that You have taken away. You are to be my only support. You are the loving Father who takes the training wheels off of each childs bike at just the right time.
Love,
S.

later that night:
I went to Calvary Chapel in Menifee, and found out that they had changed their name to Revival Christian Fellowship back in January. Their vision is to be a catalyst for revival by helping people grow in the image of Jesus Christ, through the threefold process of salvation, sanctification, and service for the glory of God. They are grounded on Jesus promise:
“He who believes in Me, as the scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.” (John 7: 38)

Thank-You LORD! Love,
S.

Sunday morning, 04/17/05 Dear LORD,
People think that Disneyland is the end all … until they see Yosemite. People think the world is the end all … until they see You.
Love,
