different plague upon the earth. Now, to the humanistic Roman elite in the beast’s kingdom, each plague will seem like their own victory. Yet each “victory” is actually a terrible plague upon the people of the earth, and themselves, teaching hard lessons to God’s elect, that all the works of the beast’s humanistic Roman kingdom always cause only death and destruction. Thus, the missions of these four horsemen are much like the mission of Joshua’s troops, when he led the enemy into an ambush (Joshua 8:3-7). That is, each of the four horsemen draw out the Roman beast’s armies into the open, allowing them to think they are conquering and overcoming the people of God. Yet, in reality, all they are doing is turning the people against themselves. And, more importantly, they are fueling God’s wrath against their exploitative and ruthless hearts, setting themselves up for a completely justified annihilation, when Jesus and His armies of angels ambush them at His second advent. Any who glorify the humanistic works of the beast’s Roman kingdom, will be trapped and destroyed without mercy on that day of His return, because they showed no mercy for God’s creations. And this is also true throughout history. Jesus is playing the long game here. He is sending out the four horsemen in an exposing campaign that will forever condemn the beast’s Roman religion of humanism in the minds of His elect. Then, as Jesus destroys the demonic, psychopathic kingdom of Roman humanists, their lies about their own glory and greatness shall not be believed by any of His honest elect. Thus, Jesus will be able to crush them without any accusations of injustice.

But, as Jesus applies His long-term strategy, we must not assume that the moment He sends out the next horseman, or the day that the era of the next seal begins, the previous seal’s era and mission will have been entirely completed and ended. No, the exposing works of the first horseman will continue until the day that Jesus returns. Likewise, the works of the next three horsemen, and even the plagues of the fifth seal, will all continue until His second advent. In fact, those plagues will even intensify greatly during the end times, that is, during the eras of the sixth and seventh seals, until even Satan himself shall come to inhabit and control the life of a human man called the beast. Then Jesus will be fully justified in His devastating wrath against the beast’s Roman kingdom, and all the elect upon the earth will shout, “Well done, our good and just Lord Jesus!” But there is one thing we should learn from the order in which Jesus sends out these four horsemen. The first horseman reveals the worst aspect of Satan’s Roman kingdom, its desire to conquer for personal glory and esteem, no matter how many lives that conquering might destroy. Then the next three horsemen further reveal the evil effects of the Roman religion’s psychopathic ruthlessness, and in the order of the kinds of evil effects produced, sequentially, from the worst to least worse. This is evident as we study the four horsemen.

No truly unique attributes are assigned to these first four eras, nothing which can clearly distinguish each era’s beginning or end. We are simply told a few loosely defining characteristics of each era, and those closely resemble the characteristics of the other three eras. Then the fifth seal’s beginning can be clearly determined by an increased persecution of those testifying about the truths found in God’s Word. Also, the Revelation hints at how the Great Harlot (false church) and the beast kill God’s people throughout history. So, since the beginning of the fifth era is marked by an increase of the persecutions occurring from the beginning, its beginning also cannot be precisely determined.

Only the last two seals, that is, the sixth and seventh seals, along with the periods of the seven trumpets and seven bowls of God’s wrath, indicate unique identifiable events that delineate a distinct and clear beginning or end. The sixth seal’s era begins with a world-wide earthquake, accompanied by meteors (or possibly bombs) that strike places everywhere on earth. Therefore, the sixth era will begin on that specific day, when those events occur. Its beginning will not be ambiguous, nor overlap any other eras or periods. Then the seventh seal’s era shall begin with a time of quiet and peace on the earth. So we may not know the very day it will begin, only that it will begin after a great revival

of Christ’s true New Covenant church. But this quiet will not last long, only a couple decades. And the first day of the first trumpet’s plague, within the era of the seventh trumpet, will begin precisely when a third of the earth begins to burn. So we definitely will know the very day that the period of the first trumpet will begin. And identifiable events also signal the beginning of the periods of all seven trumpets and the seven bowls of God’s wrath. So the start and end of these trumpets and bowls in the end times are clearly delineated. And we will need this kind of information, since we will need to endure those times of the world’s greatest tribulations, with the hope of seeing each time progress.

But we did not need to know the gradual beginnings or ends of any of the eras of the first five seals. For they are all educational eras, and constant reiterations of how Roman humanism is evil. All the first five seals are constant reminders that the artificial hierarchies of human gods cannot save us, that they actually cause the suffering and deaths of the world. We were granted those first five eras of plagues so that we, and all future generations, can learn from history to reject Roman humanism and worship only our God Jesus. So all we truly need to know is that the sixth seals’ era will begin soon, after this current era of the fifth seal, when a world-wide earthquake and striking meteors signal its beginning. And this also means we can safely conclude that the eras of the first five seals will overlap one another, and will keep on causing their effects until Jesus returns, so we can look back on them and conclude that Jesus is just. Since the fourth seal’s era seems to actively cause the fifth seal’s era, the fourth and fifth eras occur simultaneously. So both the fourth and fifth eras will basically end after the sixth seal’s era begins, but not fully on the day the sixth era begins. The eras of all of the first five seals are nebulous, merging, all exposing the sins of Satan’s Roman kingdom.

The first five seals can be likened to a cold war, where the focus is on gathering intelligence, sending out information, forming power bases, but always avoiding open warfare. Then open warfare shall begin in the sixth seal’s era, and will be completed during the seventh seal’s era. But, when open war begins, intelligence gathering does not cease. In fact, it may even increase. Not long before Jesus will return, Satan’s kingdom of the world order will have achieved its final condemnation and will no longer be tolerated by the elect on the earth. Until Jesus returns, the Roman Empire will be the dominant world power, so its religious precepts will be firmly established as the essence of all false religions in the world. Satan will do all he desires for his fourth kingdom and its evil messiah, the beast. But Daniel said the Messiah, Jesus, would eventually crush that fourth kingdom into dust, at the very end. And, until that final victory of God, many days would pass. So it was to be a long war.

God created His kingdom on earth in the very beginning, through Adam, Eve, Abel and Seth. And, as Jesus said, not long after God created Adam, Satan’s also created his own kingdom, by sowing non-elect spirits on earth (Mat. 13:24-30,36-43), so that loveless demonic spirit could war against God’s kingdom, so he could subjugate or destroy God’s kingdom. Then Jesus came the first time, died, rose from the dead and ascended into heaven, in order to build up and fortify God’s kingdom on earth. So Satan immediately responded with all kinds of slander, propaganda and intrigue, as well as with his characteristic physical violence, principally worked through his Roman religion. Then God sent out the four horsemen, to expose the lies of Satan’s fourth kingdom and to undo the devil’s propaganda machine in his fourth kingdom. God sent the world His truths about true justice, equity and love, which have eroded Satan’s humanistic lies. Now, as the counter-intelligence missions of the four horsemen have exposed the lies of Roman humanism, Satan’s frustrated world order has begun to kill God’s children, all the loving souls on the earth who no longer believe that devil’s lying words. So this is the fifth seal’s era, the era we currently live in. But this fifth seal’s era has almost ended. Thus, open warfare shall soon begin. Soon the short eras of the sixth and seventh seals shall unfold.

The end times, the eras of the sixth and seventh seals, when Jesus begins to physically crush Satan’s world order, are about to occur. The days of the “cold war” and the intelligence operations of the first four horsemen are almost complete. Beginning with the era of the sixth seal, God will “bomb” the enemy, then raise up troops to engage in a far more physical battle with Satan’s world order. But, to understand the purposes and nature of all seven seals, we must not merely see them as eras of a vast heavenly army warring against the enemy. For, although the seven seals represent the history of the temporary earth after Christ’s first advent, and involve warfare, God’s focus is not on winning this war. For God can easily defeat Satan, in a mere instant. So there is no real need for God to actually engage in this kind of warfare, especially one that lasts for millenniums. Clearly, it is not the raging war itself that is important to God, since He can win it at any time. Thus, all that really matters to God is what His elect children can learn spiritually by participating in this war, together with Him.

The real purpose of all this warfare is to teach and train the spirits of God’s elect children, so they might realize, through experience, how lies and sins can be deadly, and how important God’s loving, just ways truly are. If this teaching and training, by experience, was not necessary, then the spirits of God’s elect children, created in His image, would not need to be born on earth in bodies of flesh. All could have been born in spiritual bodies in sinless heaven, just like the elect angels were. The mere fact that all those who are called God’s children were born on earth, to suffer pain, indicates that this pain on earth must be for some great heavenly purpose that makes us “greater” than the angels. Now, to comprehend the real purposes and deeds of the first four horsemen, and the eras of the other three seals, let us first look at how they all came to be, how and why they were initiated in the first place. And, so that we may understand all this, God gave us the fourth and fifth chapters of the Revelation.

Governing of God’s kingdom

When Jesus began to reveal the future events to John, His first act was an introduction to the just and loving system of government in heaven. For His just and loving heavenly system was to be the same throughout His entire kingdom, both in heaven and on the earth. God’s one mind pervades all with His created truths, and all that He rebukes or approves is the same in heaven as it is on earth. This is the law of our God, that shall never pass away, and God shall never alter or nullify His law. In His government, each kind of being joyfully performs a certain kind of work, according to way God created each one’s inner and outer nature, according to the attributes God formed in the core of each being. Each performs a vital part, humbly, knowing all power and all the truths or abilities the can possibly possess, came from God. So when God revealed His government to us through John, we did not see a demanding despot threatening subordinate creatures, forcing all to do his will. Rather, we saw a government that is educating all, and freeing all into the realization of their innermost desires, the opposite of despotic. This is why all the heavenly beings look to Him with awe, enthusiastically praising His beauty on an honest and fully transparent throne, with no hidden agendas. They see their King lovingly serve them for their good. His is a government builds up others within itself.

Revelation 4:1-11 (ESV): “After this I looked, and behold, a door standing open in heaven!”

The last phrase here, with a perfect passive participle in its original Greek language, can also be translated as: “Behold, a door having been opened in the sky, and remaining opened.” This is a door to the eternal place that we call God’s heaven, an eternal, unlimited, spiritual space-time continuum existing apart from the physical space-time continuum. And this door was near enough to allow John to step up into it, perhaps by simply stepping over a threshold. Heaven is not far from the earth, and its door always remains open to those who love the Father. And Jesus is the Father’s only unique “Son,” because God’s Spirit dwells His body, so that God can walk among His children. God came to us on earth, so He could walk among us in a body of flesh. And now God dwells in the kind of human body we shall all receive when we go home to heaven, in a body made of the stronger and everlasting spiritual substances, so that He can walk among us forever in His permanent land above.

In fact, all the evidence in the Bible indicates that this temporary and finite space-time continuum of the material universe must exist within heaven’s space-time continuum. Therefore, the God who dwells in heaven is not far from us, as we walk upon the earth. God and His heaven surround the earth. Our spirits can easily hear the voice God, the creating and maintaining Spirit of all existence, because He dwells very near to our spirits. And elect spirits are made of a spiritual substance, even that which came directly from the “breath” or Spirit of the Creator God. So our spirits are actually a part of the heavenly spiritual realm and currently dwell within it. Only our flesh is made of energy in the material realm, which is the transformed power of God defining all time and space that we perceive through our flesh and our spirits. So only our flesh cannot hear the voice of God, nor the voice of any other spirit, since our flesh belongs to a realm that is distinct from the spiritual realm.

From the beginning, God walked with humankind, even with Adam and Eve, to let them know that He is near. Then, when He gave us His just and equitable laws of love, He told us: “But the word [of My revealed ways and Law] is very near you. It is in your mouth and in your heart, so that you can do it” (Deut. 30:14, ESV). For all love is a work of our spirits and all His laws of love are His words from His Spirit. Because we have spirits that can hear the voice of God, we can recognize and do His just, equitable, loving laws. If our spirits listen to the counsel and teaching of His Holy Spirit, and we also heed His prompting to do His will on earth as His will is done in heaven, for the training of our spirits, we shall fulfill all His laws. And the elect can indeed hear our Creator God because He came to us in body of flesh, then suffered and died on a cross to pay the devil’s demanded price for our sins, so that our relationship with God could be fully restored, without any hindrance nor any barrier to separate us from His utterly holy presence. Then His body of flesh rose from the dead to walk among our bodies of flesh again, to give us a sign that He will be forever among us, both as we dwell on earth and when we go home to heaven. God will always be there to teach, train and work beside us, in the closest fellowship possible, building us up so we might truly fulfill our destinies.

God has to be ubiquitous, existing everywhere in heaven and on earth, all at the same time. Since He created time and stands outside of time, He is not subject to the limitations of time, neither on earth nor in heaven. This total lack of limitations upon God means that He alone is able to hold together the transformed energy of His personal power, to maintain all that exists on earth and in heaven, all in a real time which is always relative to His own thoughts and His own will. Thus, because God alone holds together and maintains all existence, He needs to be everywhere at once, and is never far from any of us. He only seems far away when our spirits offend His Spirit, when we lie and sin, when we think and act only according to our minds of flesh in His material creations. Since God allows both good and evil to exist side by side in this temporary training ground of the perceived material universe, our flesh can be used to do both good and evil. That is, our spirits can use our flesh to either love in a just and equitable way, or act in a loveless, unjust and inequitable way. And

our flesh is very weak. So evil and loveless spirits, whom God placed on this earth for the education of our spirits, can easily persuade our flesh to act selfishly and unjustly, in ways that offend our loving, holy God. If the elect let their spirits become dull and almost unconscious, if the elect allow their spirits to sleep, their spirits will not hear and heed the Spirit of God. If we only act through our minds of flesh, and only seek God through the rituals and words of our flesh, we cannot hear God’s Spirit speaking to our spirits. Nevertheless, God is always near our spirits, close to us at all times.

Also, look at how John saw “a door having been opened in the sky, and remaining opened.” And this door into heaven could not have been very high up in the sky, since John then walked through it. The door must have been only a few feet from him, and near enough to the ground for him to step up into it, into the spiritual space-time continuum, into the eternal land of heaven. This not only implies that the spiritual realm is close, and that the earthly realm exists within the heavenly realm, but also that God created the heavens and the earth through His personal desires of His personal will. For our God Jesus opened the door to John, welcomed John into His heavenly homeland through His love for John, and also through His love for those to whom John would reveal this experience in his writings.

Our God Jesus created all beings and all things for personal reasons, to accomplish the loving goals and purposes He personally wanted to accomplish. For God created all the living creations that He predestined for eternal life in heaven, and especially elect human beings, because He wanted to serve them through His love for them. God is a Labourer, who loves to work, who loves to build up lives into the loving, holy, just and equitable image of Himself. Since His goals and purposes obviously involve all of us, those who are His elect, He must take personal interest in literally everything that happens in our lives, simply because He created us and keeps us existing. Then we should also know that nothing can be hidden from Him. Nor do we want anything to be hidden from Him. For He is using literally all things, even our sins, to educate our spirits, to bring eternal spirits closer to achieving His goals and purposes, closer to the destinies He ordained for each of us. Since He is a loving Spirit, He is using all that occurs in our lives to make our spirits more like His Spirit, more loving. So we never worry that God might be far away, distant and not interested in our welfare. All such thoughts are lies of the devil, and are not even logically possible. An omniscient, omnipotent God, who created literally all that exists, and who must hold together and maintain all existence in real time, is not able to forget about us or anyone else. It is utterly impossible for Him to do this.

“And the first voice, which I had heard speaking to me like a trumpet, said, ‘Come up here,

and I will show you what must take place after this.’ At once I was in the spirit, and

behold, a throne stood in heaven, with One seated on the throne.”

Some translations capitalize the word ‘spirit’ (in Rev. 4:2). This is obviously a mistake. For John actually said, “I was caused to be in spirit” (ἐγενόμην ἐν πνεύματι). So it is his own spirit that John is speaking about. John was caused to no longer be in flesh but in spirit. John stepped into heaven, into the spiritual space-time continuum, and began to step in with his body, but his flesh must have been instantly transfigured into a spiritual body which is made of spiritual substances, so he could walk in the spiritual realm of heaven. That is, John’s body became like the more substantial, eternal body that we shall all receive when we enter the spiritual realm. Of course, some think this Scripture means John was suddenly filled with the Holy Spirit of God. But, clearly, John was not saying that he was suddenly filled with God’s Holy Spirit when he stepped into heaven. For he was already filled with the Holy Spirit back when he began to receive this Revelation. All that he then prophesied in the Revelation came through his human spirit heeding God’s Holy Spirit, even the very first word.

Thus, when John stated that he was suddenly “caused to be in the spirit,” as soon as he stepped through the door into heaven, he was indicating that some kind of a change took place in the nature of his being. Prior to this, John was standing in his body of flesh, on the island of Patmos. But, as soon as he entered the door and stepped into heaven—into what we would now call a completely different space-time continuum—he said he was “caused to be in the spirit.” So he must have said this to indicate that he was transformed or transfigured in some way, caused to become a being made of the same kind of spiritual substances that all things consist of in the spiritual realm of heaven. So this means that John received a new kind of body, a body made of a spiritual substances, a body that was fit for heaven. For “flesh and blood” can neither inherit nor enter God’s eternal, spiritual realm.

Both the new spiritual body we shall receive when we enter the spiritual realm and the body of flesh are made of God’s power acting according to His will. So God can instantly transform our bodies simply by changing the mode of power by which manifests our bodies. And His power grants us bodily senses to perceive things, through sight, hearing, touch, taste and smell in both realms. But our bodies of perishable flesh are not compatible with the imperishable and more real realities in God’s spiritual kingdom of heaven (see II Cor. 15:50, where Paul taught about heaven’s eternal realm, a non-material, spiritual and eternal space-time continuum which he called God’s kingdom). John remained on the earth when God showed him the state of the seven churches, which existed in his present perception of earthly time. But, when God wanted to show John the future, “what must take place after” his current earthly time, God took John into heaven and temporarily transformed his body of flesh into a spiritual body, just like the body of Jesus when He was transfigured as He was ascending into heaven. And since God took John into heaven to see the future, it implies that, from heaven, one is able to see and even enter into all the past and future times existing upon the earth.

Also, this suggests that is not possible to enter into the past or future times of the material space-time continuum while one is in a physical body, while God has bound one to perceptions of the material space-time continuum (meaning time travel is not possible unless one is granted a body made of spiritual substances and has entered heaven’s space-time continuum, only after leaving the material space-time continuum). Simply put, John entered the eternal heaven because God allowed it, because God commanded John to enter heaven. And God did this for a reason, to show John the future events of the world. After John entered heaven, his body of flesh was transformed into a spiritual body so he walk around in heaven. Then he saw “One seated on a throne,” who was God in a spiritual body.

“And He who sat there had the appearance of jasper and carnelian, and around the throne was

a rainbow that had the appearance of an emerald. Around the throne were twenty-four

thrones, and seated on the thrones were twenty-four elders, clothed in white garments, with

golden crowns on their heads.”

Now John began to describe the government of heaven. God sat on the throne in heaven. And John told us that He “had the appearance of jasper and carnelian.” The Greek word ἴασπις (yaspis) is translated here as “jasper,” but not solely to the stone we now call jasper. In John’s day, it could refer to “any opaque precious stone” (BDAG3). So the type of stone John referred to had a widely varied array of colours, and even included some gem stones that were translucent or transparent, like quartz or some “crystal-clear” stones like diamonds. God Himself had the appearance of this many-hued and fascinating stone. So God was gleaming like polished precious stones, radiating light of multiple colours, as a multidimensional and artistic Creator God, whose light makes all the colours of all the truths we are able to see. Then “carnelian” was a blood red stone. For our God Jesus shed the blood of His body for our sakes, when He came to dwell among us in a body of flesh. Jesus submitted to death just as we all must submit to death one day. Yet Jesus did this willingly, not as one subjected to

God’s will, but as one who creates God’s will and causes it to be done, and in a way that felt all the sins of all the elect who ever lived, which involves far more pain than any of us will ever experience.

The point is that God was not monochromatic, not thinking in only black and white terms. He was not dressed only in white here, while at home in His house. Rather, He wore extremely colourful and beautiful garments. The whole throne was surrounded by coloured light too, reflecting or radiating from Him in “a rainbow” (i.e., in a multi-coloured circle) “that had the appearance of an emerald.” This may have meant that the floor around His throne had an inlaid circle or “iris” made of some kind of transparent bright green spiritual substance shining like an emerald gemstone, where His throne served as the even brighter and more intensely lit “pupil” of the iris, causing the area around the throne to look like a giant eye. For God is an Eye, the Seeing of all that exists above and below.

Twenty-four thrones for 24 elders were placed in a circle or arch around the throne, likely all extending from His right side, with a noticeable space remaining on the left side of His throne. The throne would be the head of the circle with twelve thrones arching out in the circle, in order from the eldest to the youngest of those elders. All 24 elders were human beings like John, since no angel, nor any other created being, was ever called an “elder.” And there is only one passage that can possibly provide a clue about the identity of these 24 elders: “[The city of Jerusalem in heaven] had a great, high wall, with twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels, and on the gates the names of the twelve tribes of the sons of Israel were inscribed—on the east three gates, on the north three gates, on the south three gates, and on the west three gates. And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and on them were the twelve names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb” (Rev. 21:12-14, ESV). These 24 elders must have been the twelve sons of Jacob and the twelve elect apostles chosen by Jesus. And all true elders were human men created by God with an innate ability to teach and judge. So, by calling these 24 men “elders,” John seems to have been indicating that the 12 sons of Jacob and the 12 apostles sent out by Jesus were all born to teach and judge. All possessed spirits that had only one true purpose in life, to teach His priesthood of all the elect who ever lived on earth and to judge them in a biblical way, by causing them all to repent into the truth. So the first thing John saw in heaven was God serving as the Chief Teacher and Judge of all, together with His 24 assistants around Him.

Some might wonder why such ordinary men, like the 12 sons of Jacob and the 12 apostles, could be gathered around the judgment throne of God, serving with Him as the teaching and judging elders of His entire church. Well, most elect humans on this earth do not know who they were truly meant to be, nor what they have been destined to do during their eternal lives in heaven. They do not know their own real names or eternal occupations, not while their infantile spirits dwell in flesh on earth. But, when John saw those 24 men sitting there in heaven, this obviously must have been at some time after the judgment day, after they had been completed to perfection, after they had been taught and trained into the full spiritual maturity they were born to achieve, since all were now capable of fulfilling these predestined roles in heaven. And, after the judgment day, the true church, the eternal priesthood of God, which serves all life in heaven, will consist of literally all the elect who had ever touched the ground of this planet since God created it. So, although there will be many other elders in heaven, the spirits of these 24 men were most perfectly designed to teach and judge that church.

Our God Jesus used these 24 men to build up His priesthood on earth. Then, in heaven, they became the principal teachers and judges of the eternal church of Israel there too, serving directly under the loving and serving chief Teacher and Judge. So John’s experience with these 24 elders, who had all lived on earth before serving in heaven, prove that our roles on earth train us for our roles in heaven, although we perform our earthly roles very imperfectly, as infantile children do. The twelve sons of Jacob formed His first church on the earth, the start of God’s family priesthood which replaced His

previous earthly system of solitary priests. And they did this by teaching their own families about life and faith, then judged their extended families through further teachings, all according to their very limited knowledge of God and His ways. Then the twelve apostles of Jesus included the eleven elect assistant teachers originally chosen by Jesus (including John himself, who saw himself among those apostles in heaven), plus one more. Because Jesus chose one of the original 12 apostles, Judas Iscariot, merely for the purpose of betraying Him at the appointed time, and he was a son of Satan, none of the twelve apostles mentioned here would Judas. So the twelfth apostle could have been one of the 70 other apostles (missionaries) whom Jesus sent out on a mission to teach His church and serve as His priests in His earthly church (Luke 10:1-17), such as Matthias, who was chosen by casting lots (Acts 1:24-26). However, it may have been Paul, who was chosen and sent out on a mission as an apostle by Jesus Himself (Acts 9:3-6; 22:14-15). Or it may have been another apostle who served in the true church during apostolic times, such as James, Luke, Mark or someone else.

These 24 elders were dressed in white and all wearing crowns (likely wreaths of victory). Because these “crowns” would have been granted on the judgment. day, because all of the elect who ever lived in all history will be judged as one body in Christ on that day (Heb. 11:40), and all will enter heaven together, all at the same time. Therefore, we conclude that John saw these 24 elders after the judgment. day, and after God had destroyed the entire material universe. For it seems impossible to allow for any human being to be perfected and completed, then symbolically dressed in white robes and granted a “crown,” until after the judgment day. Consequently, while in heaven proper, even inside New Jerusalem, the capital of heaven, John had stepped outside of earthly time, into a future time in heaven. John was looking at these 24 elders at a time which was actually more than three thousand years into his future, and even more than a thousand years from the present time, in a time existing after all earthly time ended. Yet, at the same time, he returned to an earthly time that we call about AD 96. Furthermore, John was one of those 24 elders himself. So John, who lived in the first century AD, was looking at himself, as he existed in another time, in the distant future existing far beyond all earthly time. So this indicates that earthly time, and even our time at the gates of heaven on the judgment day, exist apart from and outside of heavenly time, and that that it is God’s power that grants us our perception of the arrow of time in the material universe (where all future and past times exist simultaneously). And it also suggests that heavenly time, in God’s spiritual space-time continuum, is neither linked to earthly time nor flowing along an arrow of time, like earthly time is.

Later, John also literally saw other future events occurring upon the earth as well, and seemed to actually experience aspect of those events in earthly times. God allowed John to enter those future times to remind us that He created time and remains forever outside of all time, so He might access, manipulate, control and predestine all that occurs in all times, especially on earth. God’s will and power not only directly controls events and times in heaven, but in the material universe as well.

“From the throne came flashes of lightning, and rumblings and peals of thunder, and before

the throne were burning seven torches of fire, which are the seven spirits of God, and before

the throne there was as it were a sea of glass, like crystal.”

The “seven spirits of God” are seven spiritual beings, seven heavenly servants belonging to God (i.e., τοῦ θεοῦ would be a possessive genitive). These seven spirits are sent out into the earth, one into each era of earth’s time occurring after John wrote this book (Rev. 5:6). John was not saying that God consists of seven spirits, since God is one Spirit, the only uncreated Spirit who created all that exists in heaven and on earth, the only uncreated Spirit who exists outside of all forms of time and space, but enters into His creations. So John here saw seven created beings, seven spirits dwelling in front of God’s throne, existing outside of God, who is also a Spirit. These seven spirits would be

what we might call angels, although angels are technically “messengers” sent by God, and these seven were specialized powerful elect spiritual beings whom God sends out on various missions.

As for the missions or purposes of these “seven spirits,” it would seem that each one must have carried God’s knowledge and wisdom to His people on the earth, because they were also called “seven torches,” which indicates that they were bearers of His light of knowledge and wisdom. All seven, working together, would provide a perfect and complete source of God’s knowledge and wisdom, because seven is the number representing completion and perfection. And all light in heaven is spiritual, representing eternal truths and realities, both the knowledge of the truth and the ability to effectively apply that truth through wisdom. So these seven spirits may have served God by answering all the questions of all who sought knowledge and solutions to problems through prayer.

The “sea of glass mingled with fire” would be the same one John later wrote about (in Rev. 15:2). This floor likely defined the boundaries of the throne room, since that room did not appear to have any walls—although it may have a roof (possibly made of the same ‘glass’), and some pillars may have surrounded the throne room to support the roof. This throne room may have resembled some temples, thrones and places of judgment found in Israel and the Roman Empire in John’s day. Later, we find out that the throne’s structure or platform is standing at the end of a very broad and long area which we might call a “park” in our day, and that “park” was located in the centre of heaven’s capital city, the New Jerusalem. This “park” has a river or canal flowing through it, and the source of its water is the platform or structure upon which the throne sits (Rev. 22:1). For the Holy Spirit of God provides “living waters” flowing into the canal, just as He provides us with the “living waters” of His Holy Spirit’s counsel while we dwell on earth. And those waters also represent His eternal truths.

The floor’s “glass” is likely semitransparent, not totally transparent, like modern glass. This “glass” would symbolize the transparency of God’s teachings and judgments, and indicate that God is not afraid to let every living entity, whether above or below, know what He is thinking or why He judges as He does. All is above board. All is honest, wise and just, without the possibility of any kind of valid criticism against it. Of course, all glass provides a barrier to separate whatever is on one side from whatever is on the other side, but allowing light to pass through. Depending on the level of transparency, one can also look through it at whoever or whatever is on the other side. Now, to the Jews, it was expected that no one, except God’s own children, could enter God’s throne-room freely, without being called there by God, the King. If God wanted to hear a subject, that subject had to be summoned to the throne-room. Yet God’s beloved children could come and go as they pleased. Also, whenever the King spoke to His subjects, He had His counsellors with Him. And these counsellors were the 24 elders. He also had a number of scholars or “secretaries” with Him as well, to perform errands and pass on information to His subjects. And some of these would be the seven spirits. But there would also be very many other kinds of “angels” or heavenly spirits serving the King as well.

Of course, in some cases, the King would need to hear or address many of His subjects all at once, groups who were seeking judgments or who came as witnesses of events, such as subject kings and their retinues, or multiple representatives of kingdoms. Sometimes human kings needed to bring thousands into their throne rooms, all at the same time. So God, the King of trillions of spirits on earth and in heaven, would need to bring millions into His throne room, all at the same time. So God’s throne room had to be very large. Even today, our government leaders and judges still require large rooms. Yet this throne-room would need to be more than merely large, which is why John described it floor as a “sea.” The throne room of God is enormous, likely something that we would call many square kilometres or many square miles in area. And such a large throne room would be

needed for God’s kingdom of heaven, which is vast, beyond imagination, since it will be used by all the elect who ever lived on earth, as well as for all living spirits from the earth, and all from heaven.

Furthermore, throne-rooms were usually built at some height, and some had multiple floors. In God’s throne room, there seems to only one floor below it. But the access to that place, of course, would not be nearly as restricted as access to places in government buildings or palaces of earthly kings, since there are no traitors or criminals in heaven. In this instance, subjects would be able to freely come and go at any time. The glass floors seem to suggest that God’s subjects could watch and learn from His teachings in His judgments in the throne room, or obtain and provide information related to His governing at any time. Also, God’s throne-room it did not appear to have walls either, which implies that the government of our God in heaven could be heard by anyone who drew near to it. All of God’s actions and decisions in heaven can be witnessed by any of His subjects who want to see and hear them. Nothing will be hidden from them. For our God and King has absolutely no sins to hide from anyone, and none of His complex judgments will ever be misunderstood and slandered by any enemies. All will be explained adequately to all. God does not need to do anything in secret in heaven, as He must sometimes do on earth, since all His subjects in heaven will trust Him and will be able to fully understand why He does all that He does. For God will grant all a full understanding.

“And around the throne, on each side of the throne, are four living creatures, full of eyes in

front and behind: the first living creature like a lion, the second living creature like an ox, the

third living creature with the face of a man, and the fourth living creature like an eagle in

flight. And the four living creatures, each of them with six wings, are full of eyes all around

and within, and day and night they never cease to say, ‘Holy, holy, holy, is the Lord God

Almighty, who was and is and is to come!’”

These creatures which John saw around God’s throne and described here (in Rev. 4:6b-8), were the same as those seen by Isaiah (Is. 6:1-3). Then Ezekiel also described these four living creatures (Ezek. 1:4-28), although the translation of Ezekiel’s description was likely wrong in a few places. For instance, the glowing metal was likely what John called glass, but Ezekiel probably did not know what glass was. Then some translations say that Ezekiel said, “Under their wings on their four sides they had human hands” (1:8). What is translated as “hands” probably referred to “arms” with hands. So he likely meant they had six wings and two arms. And most versions translate Ezekiel as saying they “had a human likeness, but each had four faces” (1:5-6), each a face of a lion, ox, eagle and human being. But what Ezekiel actually may have meant was that the four creatures were standing in a circle, so that the face of the one on the right had the face of a lion, the one on the left had the face of an ox, the one in the front had the face of a man and the one in the back had the face of an eagle. On the other hand, John also said they had eyes all around their heads. So John may have seen one side of each living creature, a different side on each one, but the other three sides each had a face too, just as Ezekiel said. It is difficult to say which translation was right in this instance, but it may also be that both were correct, and that only their explanations were a little confusing.

One thing we can be certain is that all four creatures would have been standing or hovering in the air around God’s throne, because Ezekiel told us, “Each creature had two wings, each of which touched the wing of another, while two [wings] covered their bodies’ (see Ezek. 1:11, and note that Isaiah said two wings covered their face and two covered their feet). If the wing tips of all four touched another one’s wing tips, they must have been forming a circle above the throne, or a square. Then a Spirit, which must be the Spirit of God, was in the midst and above of these four living creatures, since Ezekiel told us: “Wherever the Spirit would go, they went, without turning as they went” (Ezek. 1:12). This Spirit would have been the One seated on the throne, the One with a human

likeness (1:26). This Spirit, who is God, later spoke to Ezekiel (2:1-2). And, since the bodies of these living creatures resembled human beings, they probably hovered in upright positions, with their two legs below them. Then Ezekiel also adds: “Their legs were straight, and the soles of their feet were like the sole of a calf's foot. And they sparkled like burnished bronze” (1:7). In fact, their bodies were so bright that they radiated like fire, with lightning passing between them (1:13). It is also interesting that, when these four living creatures visited the earth, together with God, they had some kind of vehicle to carry them. This vehicle had four wheels, and each wheel was a “wheel within a wheel,” something like what we would call a gyroscope. And there was one of these beside each of the four living creatures, controlled by each creature’s spirit. We saw how Ezekiel was so fascinated with this machine, that he described it in much detail (1:15-21). But John was more interested in what God was saying than he was in those four creatures, so his description was far less detailed.

Getting back to John’s description, these four living creatures “around the throne” would be standing or hovering in the air just outside and above the throne, a few feet away from the perimeter of where Jesus sat, or possibly even above where Jesus and all 24 elders were seated. Since each creature had many eyes in the front and back and “all around,” they could see in all directions at once. And, since nothing could escape their attention, they were likely created to be “guards.” But, because there is never any threat of danger in heaven, their purpose was obviously not to guard Jesus or anyone else from enemies. Rather, they would have served the same primary purpose that policemen do in small and crime-free villages. These four creatures would monitor interactions between individuals and groups of living beings in heaven to actively prevent conflicts between them. Then the eyes “within” (ἔσωθεν) them seemed to indicate that they could see with their minds too. In other words, their eyes “within” give them insight into all the creatures they guarded. Since they have “eyes all around and within,” nothing that would cause trouble could ever do so before they intervened. And, since they are positioned around the throne, they likely report directly to the King, to God. Also, because these four creatures were seen over God’s throne by Isaiah, Ezekiel and John, we will also become very familiar with them when we live in heaven and frequently come to see our Father and Jesus there.

Notice how John said that these four creatures never cease to say, “Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty.” They have a great zeal and love for God, worshipping and praising Him with all their might (Rev. 7:11-12; 19:4). They are almost a created extension of God Himself, and seem to be zealous for the preservation of the integrity, purity and sanctity of God’s name, as well as all His words, deeds and the whole of His kingdom. Since one living creature stands on each side of the throne’s circle, they would be chiefs among the guardians of the state, serving as commanders of God’s police force or army, as chief administrators of various matters pertaining to the well-being of God’s children and His other elect creatures. These are not ordinary angels, since they rate so highly in the sight of our God and King. And, as we see later in the Revelation, even God’s counsellors (the 24 elders, who are also God’s own children) also listen carefully to their words and respond to them.

All of these four are so cherished and highly esteemed by God that they were privileged to hear the “new song” of the 144,000 Jewish male virgins (Rev. 14:3). Near the end of beast’s seven-year reign, one of these four living creatures, possibly the first with the face of a lion, was also given the task of distributing the seven bowls of God’s wrath against the beast’s kingdom. He personally handed these bowls to the seven angels (Rev. 15:7). This suggests that these four creatures must be intelligent and skilled guardians, authoritative overseers serving for the spiritual well-being, protection and defence of God and His kingdom. They may be His ministers or secretaries of defence in His government, protecting God’s kingdom against spiritual conflicts and errors which might threaten purity, peace and security, and may even guard against Satan and the fallen angels. They also might be managers

of the heavenly angels who are sent to elect human souls on the earth. And each is highly mobile, ready to go anywhere they are needed at any time, just as police forces should be, since each has six wings to provide thrust in any direction—swiftly up or down, left or right, forwards or backwards.

As Jesus sent out the seven spirits of the seven seals (Rev. 5:6), these four creatures were present as well, and each of these four is associated with and managing one of the four horsemen. Each remains in charge of one of the first four eras of the seven seals (Rev. 6:1-8), where each era involves very complex and critical strategies for the growth and advancement of God’s kingdom on earth. So this also reveals some information about the ministry of each angel. All possess great knowledge and authority. And the face of each individual living creature presumably was created by God to suit each one’s ministry too, although each might have all four faces, one on each side. Since the lion is considered to be the king of beasts, the lion’s face might indicate a coordinator or leader with much authority, who watches for any signs of administrative trouble anywhere in the kingdom, keeping the other administrators or managers of the kingdom from making harmful mistakes. Because of this, the one with the lion’s face would have been placed in charge of the first horseman and the era of the first seal, which instigated and established the groundwork for the six eras of all the other six seals. And this creature causes the beast’s greedy kingdom to make the mistake of conquering far too much land and too many people, so it will become totally overwhelmed by the task of administrating it all.

Since an ox was the preferred beast of burden used by farmers and haulers of goods in ancient times, the living creature with an ox’s face might be most concerned with the integrity of the kingdom’s agricultural lands, manufacturing processes, trades and the distribution of goods and services, the one guarding peace, order and the kingdom’s systems that feed, cloth and house all God’s beloved children and creatures. Thus, this one would have been in charge of exposing and destroying the oppressive systems of order and productivity in the beast’s kingdom during the second seal’s era, thus causing dissatisfaction, rebellion and violence throughout the world’s humanistic governments.

The living creature with a man’s face may be assigned to manage the angels who guarded and served human beings on earth, ensuring that they may be properly respected and have all their needs met. Thus, this one would have been placed in charge of exposing the folly of the beast’s economic and political systems during the era of the third seal. Then the elite would be able to exploit the poor, leaving them with nothing. And, if they had nothing, they could not work. Therefore, this would result in massive shortages of food, goods and services, causing great artificial famines everywhere.

The living creature with a flying eagle’s face and far-seeing eyes might be the one to manage, protect and maintain justice, for the general health and well-being of all God’s beloved creatures and their possessions throughout the kingdom. Consequently, he is the one who sends out the spirit of the horseman that brings general chaos to the beast’s unjust kingdom during era of the fourth seal, to expose the enemy’s folly in all matters of justice, life and faith. This would result in chaos, with much deadly violence by rival lawless gangs and illicit governments, along with hunger from the lack of peace required to farm the land, followed by a lack of control over plagues and wildlife.

This relationship between the four living creatures and the four horsemen demonstrates that each not only administers works in heaven, but also on earth. It also suggests that their roles as administrators involve the order, peace, defence and the protection of God’s kingdom. When the four horsemen are sent out by these four living creatures or chief organizers, it implies that these four living creatures, as well as their four horsemen, possess deeply strategic, wise, purpose-driven minds. For look at the ways these four creatures chose to attack the beast’s kingdom of Roman humanism during eras of the first four seals. All those offensive moves, which will actually continue until Jesus returns, were

chosen and carefully monitored by those four great commanders in heaven to maximize the exposure of the ruthlessness, injustice, inequity, selfishness, vanity and foolishness of Roman humanism. And the four horsemen must also be wise, since they fulfill the orders of the four living creatures very effectively on the earth, proving to the people that the beast’s kingdom is indeed an enemy of truth.

For instance, the first living creature told John to come and see the first horseman, as though that first creature was in charge of that first horseman, and sending out that horseman on a mission. Then this horseman broke apart the narrow focus of the beast’s fourth kingdom, by causing wars in the beast’s divided kingdom, where each humanist greedily strove to conquer the other. And that wise horseman also broadened the empire of Rome’s religion of humanism, trapping every ruthless and loveless soul on earth in its own delusions of god-like power. Much careful strategy is involved here.

So what was this strategy? Well, on the one hand, it was not yet time for the beast’s Roman Empire to rise up against God’s kingdom, since its folly and demonic intentions had not yet been fully and honestly exposed. Thus, it first had to be torn apart to reveal its loveless, cruel and selfish ambitions, as each faction murdered thousands of innocent souls for its delusions of power. At the same time, humanism (the religion of the beast) had to lure in more of the non-elect sons of Satan on the earth, before it could be destroyed, so God could openly justify His destruction of them, together with their lying and murdering kingdom. God had to allow Roman humanism, which is Satan’s most alluring and destructive false religion, to pull the devil’s children out and away from His elect children, to create a dichotomy between the two. This would take a very long time, worked through a slow and steady process over two millenniums. But, eventually, all loving elect spirits would learn to hate and avoid every aspect of both secular and theistic humanism, so God could separate them all to Himself.

Thus, the first horseman strategically broke apart the Roman Empire, yet caused the beast’s religion of humanism to be disseminated throughout the world at the same time, to take captive all of the non-elect. And while this was occurring, the first era also taught God’s elect a basic understanding of God’s kingdom, the fundamental principles of true equity, justice and love. Of course, humanistic fake churchianity and arrogant secular humanism fought hard and long against those teachings. But those truths entered the world and could not be extinguished. Nor could the original Scriptures be eliminated, since God put delusions of terrified superstitions into the hearts of those who attempted to corrupt and alter those words of God, forcing them to preserve it accurately and in whole. Still, the knowledge and ability to wisely apply those truths grew very slowly. Thus, it was not yet time for the elect to be sanctified and set apart for God’s purposes. They were not nearly ready for the return of our God Jesus. Only after another three horsemen exposed more of the folly of humanism, and after the fifth seal revealed the murdering hatred of humanism against God and His loving elect, would the elect turn to their Head, Lord and King, to Jesus, with all their hearts, eager for His rule.

The initiation of this entire process was expertly accomplished during the era of the first horseman, with the beginning of what we might call colonization through ruthless conquest, all done strictly to exploit and plunder innocent nations for the profit of Roman humanists. This first seal’s era, which has been continuing to this day, exposed the motives and intentions of Roman humanism. It revealed what those wanna-be human gods desired in their greedy, vain and loveless hearts. And the very first step in court case against a criminal is to prove that their evil motives and intentions. For there can be no crime without evil motives and intentions of the spirit. And, once the elect on earth realized that the religion of Roman humanism possessed only these selfish, ruthless, wicked motives and intentions, God’s case against that demonic religion could go on to prove all the deadly and harmful effects of their crimes against the innocent. Thus, as you can see, this exposure of the beast’s Roman kingdom through the four horsemen was formidably complex military and administrative mission.

Each of the four creatures executed complex and critical strategies to turn the elect against the false religion of humanism, and towards their just, loving Creator God. Each of the four living creatures was associated with a complex military mission granted to each of the four horsemen. Then each horseman effectively accomplished exactly what each living creature told him to do, all according to the will of our God Jesus. So these living creatures acted like generals in an army, as overseers of military operations. And all the missions of the horsemen were related to attributes implied by the face of each living creature shown to John. However, Ezekiel told us that every one of these four living creatures had four faces, the same four faces, one on each of the four sides of their heads. So this would imply that all four creatures worked together, as one unit, to expose the intentions and the crimes of the beast’s Roman kingdom. And all four are still performing this mission to this very day.

This is speculative, but it seems reasonable. And one more thing needs to be mentioned. These four creatures were calling to the One on the throne (who is God the Father and God the Son), referring to Him as their “Lord God Almighty.” Then they also said He “was and is and is to come,” which is a statement that can only apply to our God who walked among us in a body of flesh, to Jesus. God “is,” since He “is” outside of time. Therefore, God “is” in the past, present and future, all at the same “time.” So God never really “was,” in the past time, since past and future are all the same in Him. Yet, our God, in this context, “was” in past earthly time, when He walked in a body of flesh among us, according to our God-given perceptions of the arrow of time in His material universe. Actually, our Father “is” and always has been in heaven, dwelling outside of all spiritual and material times. Thus, our heavenly Father cannot ever be related to earthly time, in the past tense. Likewise, we can never really say the Father “is to come,” in the future, since He always “is.” We cannot actually relate our heavenly Father to either past or future earthly times. However, our God in Jesus’ body of flesh did exist in past, present and future earthly times. Jesus “was” with us on earth. And Jesus now “is” bodily resurrected and fully alive in heaven, as He is one with the Father, and is speaking to us now, while we live on earth. Lastly, Jesus “is to come” again, in a body of flesh to the earth, to rule this entire world for a thousand years. Only Jesus can be our God who “was and is and is to come.”

Now, since the four living creatures said such things about God on the throne, they spoke of God the Father as though He and the Son were one and the same Being. So we must conclude that the Father and the Son are one and the same God, indistinguishable, although the one God relates to us (and to the rest of His creation) as three Persons. The one God can have a relationship with each of us as our Father, as our Brother among us, and as our Counsellor within us, all at the same time. For God created the first day. Since God created the first day, He existed before the first day, before earthly time began to exist. Before the creation of the heaven and the earth, God existed outside of all time, outside of both earthly and heavenly time. And, since He must be immutable, in order to hold all things together, He still exists outside of time. Thus, He cannot be bound by His creation of time, not limited by any restrictions of time. Because God exists outside of time, the Father and Jesus are one.

“And whenever the living creatures give glory and honor and thanks to Him who is seated on

the throne, who lives forever and ever, the twenty-four elders fall down before Him who is

seated on the throne and worship Him who lives forever and ever. They cast their crowns

before the throne, saying, ‘Worthy are You, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and

power, for you created all things, and by Your will they existed and were created.’”

We need to learn this lesson, for the sakes of our loved ones and for our own sakes. God alone is worthy to receive glory, honour and power. No man is. Nor is any angel. Humanism is wrong to glorify man, to make lords and gods of mere men. They are wrong to make hierarchies of falsely superior humans ruling over those whom they wickedly judge to be inferior. For each human being,

and every other living creature, has one’s own specific reason and purpose in life. Therefore, God may appoint some on earth to perform the lowly task of organizing and lovingly administering the tasks of His human and non-human creations. Yet such can only do this effectively through the kind of humility which realizes that God will surely find one’s own mind of flesh and mind of the spirit to be utterly inadequate for that task. The only real sufficiency for such a task, or any other task, is that which originates and is maintained by God Himself. Consequently, no one can be a leader. None is able to become the head teacher and final authority over others, since only Jesus is able to truly and effectively be that for all men. All are to rely on the limited array of knowledge and wisdom that He will grant to each, so that each can joyfully fulfill the destiny that God created for each one, as our God Jesus educates each spirit in the art of loving, until we all love justly and equitably as He does.

Of course, the God whom the four living creatures and 24 elders are worshipping, was God the Father, because we later see Jesus, the Lamb, standing before Him. And notice how the living creatures declare: “You created all things and according to Your will they were also created” (σὺ ἔκτισας τὰ πάντα, καὶ διὰ τὸ θέλημά σου ἦσαν καὶ ἐκτίσθησαν). This statement directly opposed the immensely popular Greco-Roman teachings of Middle Platonism in John’s day, the core humanistic doctrines that permeated all of the Roman world, and now permeate every culture on earth. That ancient Roman culture taught that an impassive, impersonal god indirectly and accidentally caused the creation of all material and spiritual things, through an intermediary who acted in ignorance. So they believed that absolutely nothing was created was according to that high god’s mind and will.

Yet here John saw the 24 elders, as well as the four living creatures, all directly refuting the core teachings of that extremely popular Roman religion, Middle Platonism, which became the dominant religion of the entire world. For God predestined that form of humanism, the religion of Satan’s beast, to grow and manifest itself all over the world. For that particular form of humanism was the essence of the devil’s loveless attributes and, therefore, the heart of all false religions since the very beginning of time. That is, the core desire and belief of every evil despot, deceiver and destroyer in history has always been the desire to be esteemed, served, feared and generally worshipped as gods. This is what Satan wants above all else, and what all his children also crave. Then the world leader called the beast, who is the embodiment of Satan, will demand to be worshipped. And, when God’s elect refuse to worship him as their saviour and only guide in all matters of life and faith, that beast will hate and murder them, thinking he is defeating the real God when he overcomes them. But Jesus will return to destroy that Roman beast after only seven years, and raise those murdered elect to life.

To say that God “created all things and according to [His] will they were also created,” strikes at the very heart of Roman secular humanism, since all humanists believe they can create their own souls, can make themselves either good or evil, and cause themselves to either love or hate. Then they love brag about how they, of all people, earned the favour of the gods, or the rewards of a man-made god whom they named after the God of the Bible. In arrogance, they boast about how their rituals, words and works of human hands purchased their own real estate in heaven, how they have procured their own eternal destinies through the sweat of their own brows and by their great sacrifices of God’s property. This statement about God creating all according to His own will, including their own fat flesh and their predestined eternities, also denounces the humanistic synagogues and churches. For all of them think they remain in control of God’s decisions, and that His Word is merely “precept on precept, precept on precept; line on line, line on line; here a little, there a little; that they may go, fall backward, be broken, be snared, and be taken” (Is. 28:13, WEB). Those fake churches somehow think they are the potters who created God from malleable clay for their own selfish purposes, and only they can shape themselves, because God had no power to create the attributes of their spirits

and has not power to shape their thoughts and lives in any way. But the real reason those fools think such vain thoughts is because the almighty God has forcefully handed them over to those delusions.

For all their carefully crafted precepts, with all their diligently printed lines upon lines of pompous authoritative theological and philosophical teachings and traditions that fill so many books in their censored libraries, almost none of the churches existing since the days of Jesus and His true apostles have been able to accomplish the truly just, equitable and loving works of God. Instead, they have preached a fake salvation worked by the flesh of sinners, and seldom ever the Messiah’s true New Covenant salvation worked by the Holy Spirit of God writing His just laws upon the minds of our spirits. To them, it has never been the teaching and training of our infantile spirits by the wise and mature Spirit of our God Jesus, but the supposed manipulation of an invented creator god’s infantile or even slavish mechanism by the powerful wills of an inwardly filthy but supposedly wise and mature elite. None have acknowledged that all human beings are babes in Christ, that even the greatest prophets and apostles, as well as all modern theologians and religious teachers, possess truly wise spirits. The most mature that any human spirit can become on earth is a toddler, who knows a mere fraction of a percentage of what God’s Spirit can reveal, and clumsily waddle in that truth, still easily duped and manipulated, swayed and shaped by the slightest breezes from either heaven or hell. None of us really know anything. All together we can only muster a few basic intelligible words and concepts to present before the presence of our Creator’s Spirit, although He understands all the desires and all the follies of our hearts. So why are humans been so vain as to think they can wrestle their lives out of God’s hands, to gain control over their own destinies and even the lives of others?

Now the false churches have created for themselves rule upon rule, precept upon precept, line upon line, all in futility. They somehow believe their ceremonies and traditions will keep them safe and hidden from the wrath of God. They actually think He will forgive their unrepented lawlessness, with all their ruthless exploitations and injustices they have committed with their own hands, or all the sins they have partaken in by aiding and abetting the sinners, or the crimes they endorsed by ignoring the criminals. But, just as God told His church of Israel, who practiced the ceremonies and traditions He commanded, even while lived loveless and unjust lives, God will also say to those fake churches: “You have not walked in My statutes, neither have you executed My ordinances, but have done after the ordinances of the nations that are around you” (Ezek. 11:12b, WEB). For, throughout history, fake churches followed the laws, traditions and practices of Roman humanism, while they ignoring the just, wise, equitable, loving counsel that God was speaking to the elect spirits walking among them. Consequently, God will destroy them. And, as always, God will send a heavenly scribe to the false Israel, in the end times, so he might “set a mark on the foreheads of the men that sigh and that cry over all the abominations that are done in its midst” (Ezek. 9:4, WEB). And only the elect who continued to be sorely vexed over the injustices perpetrated or tolerated by the church, will be marked for their sparing on the judgment day at the gates of heaven, and only these marked ones will inherit the whole earth on the day Jesus returns. As for the unmarked ones, hell will be their destiny.

Christ’s Holy Spirit in John opposed the tenets of Roman Platonism when he wrote the first chapter of his Gospel. For, when John stated that Jesus was in the beginning with God, and Jesus was the Creator God, even that He, the Word (i.e., Logos or rational principle), “became flesh and dwelt among us,” all this was completely anathema to everything taught by the Roman Platonists of that day. In fact, absolutely nothing in the Scriptures has ever condoned any Roman Platonic doctrines.

Yet most churches since the second century have esteemed and taught Platonic doctrines in direct opposition to biblical doctrines, even insisting that their humanistic Greek and Roman philosophers were far more literal and authoritative than the prophets and apostles who wrote the Scriptures. For

almost two thousand years, churches have claimed that the teachings of the pagan Greco-Roman Platonists provided the most “literal” teachings of God, while the Bible merely provided allegorical teachings, which all had to be subjugated to Platonic teachings. To this day, that ugly, slanderous influence of pagan Middle Platonism remains stronger in almost all churches than the influence of God’s own interpretations of His own Word. And, since humanism is the chief religion invented by the devil, all those false churches have also been liars and murderers like the father of their spirits.

But now our we must pray that our oldest Brother’s Holy Spirit will make our spirits honest enough to admit that the Scriptures describe a very personal God, who created our spirits with the inherent attributes of love, the just and equitable kind which is built on a foundation of His truths. And we also must admit that all knowledge and wisdom, all we need to build up our spirits’ love, originates from God alone, and from no other source. Our only Head Teacher, our only truly authoritative and trustworthy Teacher of all that pertains to life and faith, is Jesus. Jesus alone is the one to whom the four living creatures and the 24 elders personally expressed their thanks, respect and praise. All those human elders and heaven-born creatures also possessed bodies in heaven, and lay those bodies down in a prostrate position before Jesus, and He Himself had a body like theirs, on that throne in heaven.

Naturally, Platonic churches would consider all such teachings to be purely figurative, since their pagan Platonism teaches that all such words must be allegorical. Then they would proceed to twist and contort those words to meet their own personal agendas, which is a tradition that all humanist churches follow to this day. But there is only one logical conclusion we can draw from God’s Word, that God actually took John into heaven on that day, into another realm, into a different space-time continuum. And heaven is a real place, with real living entities as well as with inanimate things like thrones, floors and crowns, all made of real and solid spiritual substances. John actually saw those elders decisively remove their crowns and cast them on the ground. And they did this many times, whenever the four creatures give glory and honour to Jesus. They did this to openly express their gratitude for God’s grace, knowing that all they had become was through the attributes which God initially created in their spirits, as well and through the shaping of their spirits during their lives on earth, as well as later at heaven’s gates, when He completed and perfected them on the judgment day.

The four living creatures and the 24 elders shouted with zeal for God, with passion, after they saw the seven seals opened by Jesus, and how those seven eras would expose and nullify the deadly works of the enemy. Their very just, personal and loving God in heaven, who was never impassive and impersonal like the Platonic gods of the humanists, began this planned, predestined, progressive work of His New Covenant salvation on earth in about AD 25, when His body of flesh stepped out into the lands of Galilee to teach His intended meanings of His Law and His Scriptures. But, for many centuries before then, the four living creatures had vexed over the evil, injustice and pain in the world. From the start, Satan’s non-elect children were always able to deceive and do terrible works. And God’s elect always lost their homes and lives to those monsters, because the elect lacked knowledge and wisdom from God, because they always fought fire with fire and swords with swords, instead of effectively overcoming evil with good, since they did not know what was good.

In addition to granting literally all praise to God, all 24 elders had personally experienced their own weaknesses while dwelling in flesh on the earth, as well as the sins of all their other beloved elect siblings in God’s family. Therefore, after these four heavenly guardians and the 24 elders honestly evaluated themselves in God’s light, they could not help but joyfully shout to their loving God, who overcomes all evils and thoroughly redeems from all sins, “Worthy are You to receive glory, honour and power.” There is no doubt that this exclamation proclaims a very personal God presiding over and directly speaking to bodily forms in a very real space-time continuum called heaven, at some

time after another real space-time continuum, called earth, was judged and destroyed. Here John described God as: (1) the personal and loving Father of our spirits, who lives in heaven; (2) our Brother who dwells in a body among us, both on earth and in heaven’s lands; and (3) a Spirit who serves us as our wise and loving Counsellor inside our bodies, beside our human spirits. Absolutely none of this can ever be honestly reconciled with any of the doctrines of Roman Middle Platonism.

Opening of Seals

After John entered heaven, he saw an extremely important scroll, but it was prohibited from being opened by seven seals of God. Only God, or those directly authorized by God, were allowed to open any of those seven seals. And these seven seals were set sequentially in the scroll, not in a row on the top edge of the scroll. For the only time that multiple seals might be placed in a row like that would be if each was a unique seal, if each seal belonged to a different lord or authority. Yet it is clear that all seven of these seals belonged to only one Lord, that is, to only one Authority, to God the Father.

These seven seals did not belong to “the seven spirits of God,” because those seven spirits obviously belonged to God, but God is only one Spirit, not seven spirits. Since God dwells outside of all times and spaces, God can be in any number of places at the same time. But God is one, not seven, and the three Persons of God are the one and only Spirit of God, not three spirits, and certainly not seven spirits. Besides, since there is one God, even if God was seven Persons, each would not have its own unique seal. For God is one King over one Kingdom, so He has only one seal as the one King. If Jesus possessed a seal, it would be the seal of His Father, not a separate seal. So it would be totally redundant (and foolish) to repeat the sealing of a scroll, with the same seal, seven times in a row.

Therefore, we know that, according to the context explained later in this passage, what John actually saw was a scroll with seven layers, where each layer was sealed to prevent any access to it. John saw seven different sealed parts of a large scroll which was critical to survival of God’s entire earthly kingdom, and to all who lived upon the earth. Each layer would be clearly discernible, since a thick wax seal would produce a significant gap in the rolled-up parchment on the scroll. The seventh part would be rolled up and sealed, possibly with a ribbon or marker attached to the seal, extending out beyond its sides. Then the sixth part would be wrapped up around the seventh and sealed in the same way. Next, the fifth would be wrapped around the sixth and sealed, and so on, until the first part had been wrapped around all the previous six and sealed. Thus, the seventh part would sit at the heart of the document and would be the last to be opened. As each seal was broken, it would release words of the Owner, God—words that would immediately initiate a series of events, each in sequential order.

A seal was an imprint made in wax or clay by ring or embossed cylinder owned the author or owner of the scroll. And the main reason a document would be sealed was to prevent unauthorized access to its word by those who held no right nor authority to read it. Every lord and authority in those days had his own unique seal, an intricate design on the face of a metal or stone-surfaced ring, cylinder, pendant or stamp. And it was usually carried by the lord or authority at all times, or guarded in a safe place to ensure that no one could use it to forge important documents in his name. To physically seal a document, the lord or authority would press the seal into a small blob of warm wax immediately after dripping the wax onto the outer edge of the scroll, while that edge was pressed flat against the body of the rolled-up paper. (And, in those days, the “paper” would have been either parchment, made of scraped and treated animal skins, or papyri, made of reeds pressed together.) When the wax cooled, it kept the rolled-up paper from unravelling. Thus, to unravel and read the scroll, the seal had to be broken first. Since wax easily broke and could be easily removed without damaging the paper or the writing upon it, wax was the ideal material to be used for this purpose. However, once the seal

was broken, it could not be reattached. Therefore, the owner would know when someone had opened and read the document. And, if that reader was not authorized to break the seal and read the scroll, that reader could suffer a severe penalty, even execution, since sealed documents often held secret or very sensitive information, which enemies could use to severely harm or even destroy a kingdom.

Now we know the scroll John saw had writing on both sides. And it would be easy to detect this from the writing on the outside, since the ink from the writing on the inside of each sheet of “paper” would “bleed” through it. But only original documents normally had writing on both sides, and official copies were normally written on one side only. So we can assume that the scroll which John saw was an original document written by God, and obviously did not have any copies, a document containing extremely sensitive information that God did not want revealed until a specified time. Only now, after Jesus had purchased the freedom of the elect from their sins, after our God Jesus achieved the right to redeem His people into loving righteousness, would those secret plans of God for the last days be revealed. And, after seeing the events which would occur after each seal was broken—especially the events after the seventh seal was opened—we find out that this scroll was God’s personal plan for the future of Israel and all the elect on earth after Jesus finished His works of the New Covenant salvation. These events would occur in seven eras, each represented by a separate sealed section in that scroll. Each seal represented a predestined era in the future of the entire world.

Some argue against this logic, but they argue without using logic. So first remember how Daniel had prophesied that God’s visions and words about last days after the Messiah’s advent, as well as about the beast and the end times, were to be “shut up and sealed until the time of the end” (Dan. 12:9). Then also remember how God told us: “So shall My word be that goes out from My mouth; it shall not return to Me empty, but it shall accomplish that which I purpose, and shall succeed in the thing for which I sent it” (Is. 55:11, ESV). Because the released words of our omniscient and omnipotent God are always accomplished, but only in their predestined times, whenever He causes them to take effect through His unalterable will and irresistible power, so too would His words that were sealed in each section of this scroll, be accomplished in their appointed times. All seven sections had been sealed, and not one earthly or heavenly being was allowed to open any of those seals. Only God Himself could choose when to open each seal, to begin each new future era. And, when John first saw that book with seven seals, none had been opened yet, because God’s ordained time for each sealed era to begin had not yet come. Yet these seals desperately needed to be opened by someone who was fully authorized by God, since earth’s future would not continue if those seals were not opened. That is, the only words which could allow the earth to continue its existence in the future were those words of God in that scroll. Yet John found no one “worthy” to open the seals, except Jesus, our God. And, if Jesus did not ascend to heaven to open those seals, the future of the whole world would cease. The world would have ended right then, after John entered heaven, in AD 96.

If we think rationally about what John told us about this scroll, interpreted in the light of all the other Scriptures, there does not seem to be any other feasible explanation for this scroll with seven seals, nor a reason for John to consider the opening of those seals to be so critical. John was so worried about the seals not being opened that he wept bitterly, after finding no one able to open them. Thus, it is obvious that John believed the earth would end if those seals were not opened soon. Then, when we see the events occurring after each seal was opened, it suggests only one thing, that a new era of time began on the earth after each seal was opened. Some try to tell us this is not true, since they seem to think that absolutely nothing happened after the seventh seal was opened. However, they are clearly mistaken. For the Revelation actually describes more events occurring during the era of the seventh seal than it described for all the other six seals put together. During the era of the seventh

seal, all the events of seven trumpets occur, through the agency of the seven angels. The sounding of each of these seven trumpets initiates events which cause devastation in epic proportions. And that era includes the event of Jesus returning to rule the earth for a millennium, after the seventh trumpet.

As mentioned, when John saw no one was worthy to open the seven seals on that scroll in heaven, he seemed terrified and loudly wept. So John must have recognized what was written on the scroll. He seemed to know its purpose and what the seven seals represented. John must have seen some kind of introduction or command written on the outside of that scroll, one which identified its purpose. For he knew, if the scroll was not opened, if Jesus was not found worthy, the consequences would be horrifying. If it was not opened, time would stop. There could be no future for Israel or the world.

Revelation 5:1-14 (ESV): “Then I saw in the right hand of Him who was seated on the

throne a scroll written within and on the back, sealed with seven seals. And I saw a strong

angel proclaiming with a loud voice, ‘Who is worthy to open the scroll and break its seals?’

And no one in heaven or on earth or under the earth was able to open the scroll or to look

into it, and I began to weep loudly because no one was found worthy to open the scroll or to

look into it.”

Throughout each child’s life, proud parents and authorities censor anything that does not conform to their own humanly invented, often sinful and frequently stupid beliefs, which are usually designed to maintain the artificially created superiority of a few self-proclaimed elite human souls. A child is not allowed to hear or read anything that might contradict or logically disprove the folly of those who are esteemed above all others, in order to maintain their kind of cherished delusions in the child’s mind. Parents, teachers and cooperating cultures instill a cursed and lying esteem for human gods in young minds of flesh so those brain-washed children might grow up to blindly serve their enslaving and exploiting kingdom in Satan’s world order. Then this nurtured esteem for human gods eventually grows into perverted lust for one’s own glory, a vain pride which seeks to be found worthy in the eyes of other human gods. A child grows up striving to become whatever is approved by the most glorified human gods in one’s sphere of life, with the hope of becoming another human god as well.

Since the very beginning of time, this tradition has perpetuated sin and death throughout the world. For societies have always pursued what is beneficial to the psychopaths ruling over them, never what is right, just, equitable and loving in the eyes of God. Real truth has always been secondary to them. But now that we have been bought with a price, freed from Satan’s ownership of sinners, and granted the Holy Spirit of the Creator to guide us, it is time cast aside those traditions. Now we must begin to teach our children to respect only Jesus, our God, above all human beings. As we approach the end times, when Jesus will judge the entire earth, we need to seek only the truths that His Spirit is teaching to our spirits in our hearts. For, as the eras of the sixth and seventh seals begin, nothing but those kinds of truths will keep us alive and inwardly at peace, even with much joy in our hearts.

Now we need to focus on telling our children all that we have found, from Jesus, to be true, then point to His Word to prove that it was actually Jesus who taught us those truths. For, in the end times, we will need to wait upon Jesus, our God, and there will be no human gods to rely upon, except those who want to destroy us and our God. Jesus must become our only Head, and the only Head Teacher of our children. For none of our own infantile spirits will be able to be adequate heads, lords and teachers of our children, and it is absolutely certain that none of us can ever become saving gods for our children. Nor will there ever be any other human beings capable of becoming the heads, lords and gods of anyone who is honest, just and loving. In reality, literally all whom the world has ever illicitly promoted as heads, lords and gods of men have all been ignorant, deluded, unworthy,

destructive puppets of Satan. And it is never right for anyone to strive to become like those empty, foolish, so-called heads, lords and gods of men. For how can an elect soul, whom Jesus awakened into realities, ever believe that any human being is worthy of any respect at all? The most that any of us can do is respect and praise God for enabling certain individuals to do certain works for His elect.

Even more amazing is the fact that many elect souls actually believe that a human being can be the head, lord and god of their church. All the elect angels in heaven, and all the spirits of animals, admit that they are not worthy of any glory or greatness, since their spirits know the truth, that they are not able to know or do anything without God first enabling them to know or do it. Yet the ignorant and sinful elect spirits of human beings—who all bear a far greater potential to know and apply truth, because they were all made in the image of God Himself—somehow think they can become worthy to be glorified as heads, lords and gods by other human wanna-be gods. Somehow, many elect still believe that they can rule over their own destinies, and even over the destinies of other equal siblings in the family of God. Yet it is blatantly obvious that they are indeed wretched and deluded sinners, created to be much lower than the angels while they live on earth. This is reality, truth and verity!

All spiritual and physical realities testify every day and all day that no human being is worthy to become any kind of autonomous head, lord and god. None in heaven, nor on the earth, are worthy to make any decisions which affect their own futures, nor the futures of anyone or anything else. Not one will ever be able to open any seals of the scroll in heaven, to usher in any future events. Every one of all future events are caused, controlled and predestined by God, written on a scroll that none will ever be authorized to open, that is, no one except our God, Jesus, who dwells in a human body.

There can never be any truly authoritative head of any man, no human being worthy of glory, honour and power. For none can possibly become wise enough to teach, judge and lead other brothers in God’s family of elect, none but our God, Jesus. How many times must the Scriptures teach us this before we will believe it? The inundation of humanistic doctrines have made us completely unable to grasp this reality, although life, the Bible and true science proves the fallibility, ignorance and the irrational thinking of this delusion in human beings every day and in every way. So let us weep like John, and come to the realization that absolutely no one is worthy or able to affect the predestined future of life in these material bodies of ours. Then let us quickly get over that vain sorrow, and press on to obtain our salvation in Jesus, that is, to fulfill the purpose for our earthly existence, which is to have our spirits taught and trained to love in the same just way that our Creator loves us. For He will save our spirits through our predestined lives on earth, then perfect our spirits on the judgment day.

Now, returning to the topic of this two-sided scroll, we concluded that it was likely an original document because there was writing on both sides. And we also assumed that it was written by God the Father, because John saw no one in heaven or on earth who was worthy to open it, except Jesus, who is our God. For consider how only the author of a sealed document, or an authority greater than that author, can determine who is authorized or “worthy” to break the seal on the document. Thus, since the Author and Authority who wrote and sealed that scroll was not Jesus, but probably held a higher authority than Jesus, because He appointed Jesus as the only one authorized to unseal that scroll, then we are forced to conclude that the Author of that sealed scroll, who bore the kind of authority to appoint our God Jesus as the only one authorized to open its seals, must have been God the Father. This seven-sealed scroll must have been a royal document written by the Father, our God, for His Son, who is one with Him. That is, the King bears the authority to break the seal on any document belonging to anyone, even to one of His subject kings. And Jesus is the King of heaven and of the universe. Thus, no one needs to authorize that King as being the only one “worthy” to

open it, except the High King over Him, who is God the Father. This is the only reason that none within the heavenly and earthly kingdoms of God were found “worthy,” other than Jesus Himself.

If none but Jesus was “worthy” (authorized), and since we know Jesus did not break the seals as a higher authority than the author of the scroll, we must conclude that His higher authority, who is God the Father, was the author of this seven-sealed scroll. We cannot rationally accept any other explanation. No one can logically conclude that the Author of this scroll was not an equal or higher authority than Jesus, so the Author must be God the Father. Yet God the Father is one Being, one authority. Thus, the Father has only one seal to represent Himself and His authority. Consequently, we must also conclude that John was not talking about a scroll with seven seals put on it by seven different authors or authorities. It was not sealed by the seven spirits belonging to God, but by the one God the Father Himself. For Jesus—our God, King and Lord—can never submit to seven other authorities. Jesus only submits to one authority in heaven or on earth, to the authority of His Father.

John saw seven identical seals of God the Father, but they were not all placed in a neat row upon the outside of this document. For only one seal of the almighty Father would suffice to infallibly prevent the scroll from any unauthorized access. Placing the same, identical seals of the Father seven times in row would be redundant and foolish. Since God is not foolish and does do useless, redundant deeds, we must further conclude that John assumed that we would realize he was talking about seven sealed sections in the scroll. First the seventh section would be rolled up and sealed, likely with a ribbon hanging down below the edge of the scroll. Then the sixth section would be wrapped around it and sealed with another seal. Then the fifth, fourth, third, second and first sections would be added in the same way. This is the only way a scroll would require seven identical seals of God the Father.

Next, we must also logically conclude that this scroll was an extremely critical document, even so immensely important that John, an old and widely experienced apostle who had suffered countless trials, completely broke down and wept loudly when he found out that ‘”no one was found worthy to open the scroll or to look into it.” In this context, the only rational explanation for his weeping was that John knew the scroll contained God’s commands for the future of the entire earth, and that the words on the scroll would not allow any of the future on earth to be accomplished unless those seven seals were opened so their words would be released. Until each seal was broken, each future era of the world, delineated by each section of the scroll, could not begin to occur. And if the last seal was not finally opened, there would be no return of our God Jesus to redeem the self-destructive earth, no future judgment. day, no salvation through the judgment day, and no eternal life for God’s children.

“And one of the elders said to me, ‘Weep no more; behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the

Root of David, has conquered, so that He can open the scroll and its seven seals.’ And

between the throne and the four living creatures and among the elders I saw a Lamb standing,

as though It had been slain, with seven horns and with seven eyes, which are the seven spirits

of God sent out into all the earth.”

To understand this, we must first define the terms. Clearly, Jesus is the “root of David” and the “Lion of the tribe of Judah.” As the Lion, He is an invincible terror to all the unjust, to all the despots and their thugs, to all the loveless exploiters who ever lived on earth. Since His body of flesh rose from the tribe of Judah, which is the tribe to whom God joined the Gentiles gathered into His priesthood of Israel, Jesus was destined to become the High Priest of God’s fulfilled church on earth. As the “Root of David,” Jesus grew the shoot of David the King on earth, and existed before David, though His body of flesh was a descendant of David’s body. Jesus created David as the first beloved king ruling over secular affairs in God’s lands, although the inner Levitical priesthood of Israel counselled

and directed David in all spiritual laws and morals. So our God Jesus, who created David, is the true King of all the world, as well as the true High Priest of the inner and outer church of Israel. Jesus has ruled God’s kingdom, both in heaven and on the earth, from the moment of creation, as the Root and King from whom Adam, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Judah and David originated. In the flesh, Jesus is a branch of David, a descendant of David. However, the whole Person of Jesus, ruled by the mind of His Spirit of God, is the Root and Source of all legitimately serving earthly authorities under God.

Here the heavens also declared Jesus has “conquered” in a way that gives Him, and Him alone, the right to open the seals and release the entire future of the earth, down to its completion and end. So how did He conquer? Well, obviously, Jesus overcame our slavery to lies and sins when He dwelt in flesh among us. The atoning sacrifice of His sinless flesh in death on behalf of our sinning flesh and, more importantly, the resurrection of His flesh to teach and train our elect spirits until we all reached complete purity, so He might be justified when He gathered us into heaven, overcame all the valid objections and accusations from the fallen angels. For us, Jesus’ flesh won an undisputed victory over all the temptations that lured His elect into sin, so we too might overcome all our sins too, with the counsel, guidance and power of His Holy Spirit. Jesus nailed our crimes and sins to the cross, nullifying the justly required penalty of separation from God and from all His creations, into the eternal death of hell. Because He conquered the just requirements for our eternal destruction, as the perfect and final sacrificial Lamb of God, who died but remains “standing” and alive in a human body like ours, this made Him “worthy” and authorized to open the seven seals, to keep time on earth moving for the education of the Father’s elect children, until the end that He ordained for it.

Jesus allowed the existence of life on earth to this day. And our God Jesus alone will judge all who ever lived on earth from its beginning to its end. For Jesus alone holds perfect and complete power over all in heaven and on earth. The “seven horns” on our Lamb of God symbolize this. A horn was the biblical symbol of power, while the number seven indicated that it is perfect and complete (i.e., seven is the number of perfection and completion). Then His seven eyes tell us that He sees all, perfectly and completely. His “seven eyes” never fail to see the motives and intentions in the hearts of men. Jesus alone was granted this power because He is our wise God, the Creator of all truths and effective principles in heaven and on earth, making Him alone perfect and complete in all of His judgments. Then John told us that these seven horns of perfect power, with their seven eyes of complete sight “are the seven spirits of God sent out into all the earth,” even the same spirits who were to cause the events in the seven eras of the seven seals, all that should occur on earth until the earth ends. So the events of the last days and end times, all that is described in the prophecies of the Revelation and in the rest of the Scriptures, will be caused by our God Jesus, through these seven spirits of power and sight that He sends to the earth. Through perfectly and precisely directed power, with infallible inside into the motives and intentions of men, Jesus will expose and nullify the lies and sins perpetuated by Satan’s kingdom, particularly those of the beast’s Roman humanistic empire in all the world. Then His seven spirits will build up God’s just, loving kingdom within all the earth.

Satan and the beast will try to emulate Christ, will try to become the gods of the earth. That beast will also wear seven horns on his lawless, psychopathic head, like some kind of demonic goat. Yet nothing will ever be perfect or complete about the power of Satan working through the beast, except the evil of that power. Jesus alone is fit to receive all glory, honour and power from the Father, and all praise from His elect. So, after granting this Revelation to John, Jesus sent out the seven spirits, one to each of the seven future eras on earth, together with His power and judgment., so His will would be done on the earth until the end. And, since these seven spirits are lights (Rev. 4:5), bearers of truth, each era of the seven seals will receive a portion of light that is one seventh more than the

previous era. Each era will gain more light from God as each of the seven spirits arrives to shine its light for the generations enduring each new seal, progressively, as Jesus is opening the seven seals.

“And He [i.e., the Lamb, Jesus] went and took the scroll from the right hand of Him who was

seated on the throne. And when He had taken the scroll, the four living creatures and the

twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb, each holding a harp, and golden bowls full of

incense, which are the prayers of the saints. And they sang a new song, saying, ‘Worthy are

You to take the scroll and to open its seals, for You were slain, and by Your blood you

ransomed people for God from every tribe and language and people and nation, and You have

made them a kingdom and priests to our God, and they shall reign on the earth.’”

First notice how the blood of Jesus “ransomed people for God from every tribe and language and people and nation, and You have made them a kingdom and priests to our God, and they shall reign on the earth.” So it will not be hierarchies of either religious or secular authorities ruling over the earth after Jesus returns. Rather, Jesus and His chosen priests, the elect, will rule. And the primary role of priests is to teach about God’s intended meaning of all His words in His Law and in the rest of His Scriptures. Then those priests were to judge, by teaching repentance into those truths, or by punishing the unrepentant according to the weight of their crimes and according to the motives and intentions of their spirits in their hearts. That is, the true priests of God do all their works in the name of God, according to His will, commands and power. All of God’s true priests represent Him to His people and bring the supplements of His people to Him. Then also notice how these priests of God’s true and fulfilled New Covenant church will not all be Levites, but “from every tribe and language and people and nation” on the earth. For, after the loveless, lying and untrustworthy souls on earth lie silenced in death, and God’s glory is revealed to all the loving, honest and trustworthy elect Gentiles, Yahweh God will choose even them “for priests and for Levites” (Is. 66:21, WEB).

So the royal priesthood, or the Aaronic priesthood among the Levites, will no longer be based upon the lineage of the flesh, but upon the inheritance of knowledge and wisdom from God in the spirits of the elect taken from all the peoples on the earth, ending every kind of humanistic hierarchy and all racism. For there actually are no “races” on earth. Rather, there is only one race and tribe, the one family of humankind. At the right time after His creation of the material realm, God put spirits made in His own image, spirits able to discern between good and evil, into the hearts of two ape-like creatures whom He named Adam and Eve. Although there were other more intelligent and far more powerful creatures existing among His creations, only the spirits of these two homo sapiens could truly distinguish between what aligns with the true nature of the Creator’s Spirit and what does not. And the flesh of literally all homo sapiens on earth descended from these two. So the only real difference between humans involves whether or not their discerning spirits are loving or unloving.

After Jesus took the scroll, the four living creatures fell to their knees before Him, together with the 24 elders. We also see that each of the elders carried a harp or lyre, along with a bowl of incense. In biblical terms, the harp expressed the joys and sorrows of the spirit in the soul, as David did with his harp, and its music was a form of communication that reached even the spirits of animals and plants. Then John tells us that the golden bowls of incense were the prayers of the “saints” (τῶν ἁγίων), that is, the praises and supplications of those whom God set apart from the common things of this earth, whom God reserved for His family, to serve His own good purposes. For, in heaven, God’s children joyfully sing to our God Jesus through fully gratified and satiated spirits, set free into heaven’s pure and unlimited reality, into the foundational truths behind all the God-like love they witnessed on the earth. In heaven, all delusions of earthly men and devils have been washed off of all. Yet all are still

the priests of God, still representing their people before the throne of God, still offering that sweet scented incense of prayers from their people who love their Creator while they dwell upon the earth.

Only the elders held those bowls, since only the elders shared in the sufferings of God’s children on earth, and only they can empathize with them. Now that the elders dwelt in heaven, they have been granted the capacity to truly and personally see all that is in the hearts of millions of elect souls, just as Jesus does. Thus, they faithfully carry the cherished prayers of their beloved brothers and sisters with them when they go to the throne. They do not write these prayers in a notebook, but offer them as animated, visual records golden bowls and rising spirits of smoke bearing the sweet scent of love.

Next, John tells us that, back in the first century, he saw all these elders sing “a new song.” This song was created after Jesus came to them on earth, suffered, died, rose from the dead and ascended back into heaven. But this new song has been sung countless times since then, just as they did on that day, with joy in their hearts. So none of this was the kind of polite, courtly greeting granted to a Roman king. Rather, what those four creatures and 24 elders did before the throne was a spontaneous, heart felt, exuberant expression of vital love and overwhelming joy straight from their hearts, through a song that brought them to their knees, accompanied by a fervent hammering of the strings on their harps. This was not a dead, dry hymn, but 24 skilful ‘”guitar” players, with perfect voices, singing exuberantly. For God will grant all His children perfect skills and faultless voices at home in heaven.

A good song is one of the greatest healers of hearts that God has gifted to us, a critical ministry of His elect children. And what did they sing about? They sang, “Worthy are You to take the scroll and to open its seals.” Thus, they were expressing how Jesus was the only one they trusted to unfold and control the entire future history of the world. Then their song told us why they trusted only Him. It was because the blood shed by Jesus on the cross “ransomed” countless souls, even all the elect who ever felt the gravity of earth. Jesus alone has been rescuing us from our captivity to lies and sins. He has shut the mouths of our accusers for good, because He paid the just penalty for all our sins in full measure. And where did all these saved ones come from? Were they all Jews? Were they all white Anglo-Saxon Protestants? No! The elect included all whose spirits were born in the image of God, with the ability to love in a God-like, just and pure way, “from every tribe and language and people and nation.” It is the unalterable destiny of all these elect to be joined to His serving eternal church in heaven, to become priests tending God’s eternal creations together with Jesus. And, as the era of sixth seal initiates the final great revival of His earthly church, most elect will leave false churches and false religions to become God’s kingdom and priests, so they might shine God’s light into the choking darkness of Satan’s world order, all through the love God enables them to express with their very limited bodies of flesh. Then, when Jesus returns, all will reign on the earth together with Him.

“Then I looked, and I heard around the throne and the living creatures and the elders the

voice of many angels, numbering myriads of myriads and thousands of thousands, saying

with a loud voice, ‘Worthy is the Lamb who was slain, to receive power and wealth and

wisdom and might and honor and glory and blessing!’”

The population of heaven, the countless myriads of created spirits in spiritual bodies—some born on earth and some born in heaven—all agreed that Jesus alone is worthy to receive power, wealth, wisdom, might, honour, glory and the full blessing of the Father’s good opinion. In the light of other Scriptures, we understand that this does not mean Jesus is one of many who deserve these things, but the only One who deserves any and all of these things. Not one other created being deserves even one of these gifts. Jesus alone deserves power or strength (δύναμις) to accomplish His own will because He alone uses His power wisely, through love, for the good of all. Our God Jesus alone can

be granted unlimited wealth (πλοῦτος), the ownership of all that exists, with true decision-making authority over it all. For only Jesus will not spend His wealth to please Himself, but has always used literally all His wealth in responsible ways, for truly wise purposes which serve for the benefit of all.

As for the unlimited wisdom (σοφία) of Jesus, it has never been of the kind admired by Satan’s world order, not the kind associated with selfish ambitions and short term gains at the expense of God’s people and creations. Rather, the wisdom of Jesus effectively plans for the maximum good of all His creations to the very end, even for their eternal lives in heaven. Likewise, all His might (ἰσχύς) is applied to accomplish His wise purposes. It is His ability to crush enemies, then build up His kingdom swiftly and skilfully, without error, so it may last for all time. And He is slow to wrath. So the might of Jesus always seeks first to correct and turn souls to repentance, if possible, and only destroys those with unrepentant spirits. And Jesus’ face is a sober stone when He must send the lovers of darkness into hell. He never rejoices in the eternal deaths of the loveless ones. The one and only time He rejoices is when the works of His might can rescue elect souls from their lies and sins.

Considering all this, whom should we value with great esteem and honour (τιμή) besides Jesus? Not one living being in heaven or on earth is worthy to be so highly cherished as Jesus. None but Jesus deserves our good opinions or glory (δόξα). For we and all His creations have received all that is good in us through His grace alone, and we can only do all we do through His own predestining and causing power. Our God Jesus created, wisely shaped and redeemed all God’s children, so that His powerful and effective love might work through them for all His other creations. Therefore, to whom should our heavenly Father speak well of aside from Jesus? And remember, all of our Father’s words take effect and become realities when He speaks them, because only His words create all that works together for His good, harmonious and completely integrated purposes. So, if the Father grants the words of His good will to Jesus, they will indeed be a true blessing (εὐλογία). And there is not a human being or a great angel in heaven who deserves even a hundredth of the blessing that Jesus deserves such a blessing from the Father. Jesus alone receives the blessing of the Father as the sole heir of the Father’s headship over His entire household and estate, as the Elder of the Family of God. But we, the lesser heirs, can surely trust that Jesus will use this blessing for our good in all eternity.

“And I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and in the sea, and all

that is in them, saying, ‘To Him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb be blessing and

honor and glory and might forever and ever!’ And the four living creatures said, ‘Amen!’ and

the elders fell down and worshipped.”

Spirits of animals, plants, angels and all living creations on earth and in heaven speak. Here, in these first-century Greek words of John, “every creature” (πᾶν κτίσμα) referred to literally every “product of creative action” (BDAG3) that has life. In context, John was declaring that every living entity was not only able to express itself, but even as a conscious, self-aware spiritual entity who desires our God Jesus to receive “blessing and honour and glory and might forever and ever.” Therefore, all living entities, even plants and bacteria, have a spirit which loves our God Jesus. And, since God is love, that is, since the major defining attribute of God is His love, this means that all the spirits of life in heaven and on earth resemble the spirits of elect human beings, who were created in God’s image. The only difference between elect human spirits and other spirits is the capacity to serve those whom they love. All spirits serve others through love. But elect human spirits learn to discern between good and evil, between that which is purely and entirely the will of God and that which may even slightly deviate from the heavenly Father’s will. In other words, only elect human spirits, as infantile as they seem while dwelling in flesh on earth, bear a potential to serve wisely and rightly

through love, just as our God Himself serves us, because only elect humans were created in His image. Only elect human spirits bear an ability to serve beside our God, as heirs of His kingdom.

The only thing that initiates and perpetuates life in all earthly and heavenly bodies is a spirit. Since all earthly and heavenly bodies are made of either material or spiritual energy from God, there is nothing in those bodies except that energy. Thus, even the brains in those bodies are merely pure energy which acts and reacts according to the laws of the realm in which they exist, according to an energy which God’s power continuously maintains. So even the brains in those bodies are merely inanimate things consisting of either material or spiritual substances. Thus, all bodies are basically machines, and their brains are basically computers running those machines, making the body’s heart beat and lungs breath. Consequently, without a spirit to turn on the brain and control it through the soul, which is an interface between the spirit and the brain, a brain would cease to function within a few seconds, causing the entire body to become a mere mass of lifeless substance. That is, without a spirit, the body would instantly die. Then the other forces of nature and other living creatures would do what God caused them to do with that body. On earth, that dead body would become recycled energy, either eaten by animals, bacteria and plants or eroded away by the water, wind and elements.

However, there are some differences between bodies in the spiritual realm of heaven and bodies on earth. The brains in our bodies of flesh on earth are programmed to resist pain, then seek the body’s survival and its comfort. And minds of flesh automatically do this without any regard for any of God’s spiritual/moral considerations, since those minds of flesh are merely pure energy and only function according to the laws of material nature, which govern nothing but physical actions and reactions. Even the eternal bodies we shall receive in heaven shall be amoral too, and merely follow the laws of spiritual nature, only the laws which govern the actions and reactions of energy in the spiritual space-time continuum. But heaven was created as a home for loving spirits, and our bodies in heaven will be designed to express only the love originating from our spirits. Yet the earth was created and designed to be temporary training ground, which houses both loving and loveless spirits in bodies of flesh. So our amoral earthly flesh can be easily lured into selfish and outright evil thoughts and deeds. Then, if our infantile elect human spirits do not remain awake to actively monitor and manage our earthly bodies, our flesh can quickly lead us into lies and sins. I repeat, this will not be a problem for us in heaven, since our new bodies will be entirely compatible and compliant to our always awake elect spirits. And the spirits of life in earthly animals and plants do not have this problem with their bodies of flesh either, because their spirits do not possess any real knowledge or discernment of good and evil, and therefore cannot possess any spiritual motives or intentions against God, making it impossible for their spirits to sin. Their spirits simply do whatever God designed them to do, and their always awake spirits possess an ability to express love freely, at any time, without any interference from their minds and bodies of flesh. But elect humans are totally reliant upon God the Father and their oldest Brother to teach and train their infantile spirits to take control over their minds and bodies of flesh. Elect humans need the Holy Spirit of God to dwell in their bodies, beside their spirits, to counsel and guide them. And this dependence on God develops an extremely close familial relationship between them and their God, the kind that no other human being should ever dare to interfere with. Let no parent or other human being, nor any demon from hell, ever strive to become replacement gods and seek to usurp God’s relationship with His elect.

We also discover something else here. The spirits of all plants and animals speak the same language, with meaningful words, because they all spoke in unison, in a way that the spirit of John could comprehend. Yet it is obvious that our bodies of flesh cannot hear or comprehend such a language,

not while we live on earth. Only our spirits, along with all other spirits, are able to hear and fully understand the words of spirits. We must conclude this as we examine the meaning of this Scripture.

Here John told us that “every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and in the sea, and all that is in them,” spoke these words. And they were not all speaking Greek. Rather, John quoted a Greek translation of a heavenly language here, a heavenly language that all spirits could speak and comprehend. Also, in context, this exhaustive description of the kinds of spirits who spoke was about as inclusive as possible, indicating literally all spirits of life, no matter where those spirits dwelt, could speak the same language. Furthermore, this logically indicates that the spirits on earth could could hear and communicate with the spirits in heaven, even in a way where earth-bound spirits could simultaneously speak together with heavenly spirits. And this means that heaven and earth exist in the same “space,” since earth-bound spirits synchronized their words with heavenly spirits.

I repeat, with the deliberate reiteration of all the kinds of creatures and where they came from, this Greek expression must include literally “every creature,” that is, literally all non-human living organisms on earth and in heaven, with the possible exception of demonic spirits and their human, non-elect children. Literally all living entities must have spirits that are able to communicate with other spirits, even with spirits that are born in heaven and dwell only in heaven. Without any exceptions, all the non-human living organisms in heaven and on the earth—even worms, bacteria and other creatures living in earth’s ground, as well as organisms living in earth’s waters—spoke these words which John, and the four living creatures standing before God’s throne, and the 24 elders, all heard in heaven. Now we know the bodies of cattle, sheep, dogs, cats, birds, trees, grass, fish, whales, worms, ants and other living creations cannot speak to our flesh. In fact, most living organisms, such as plants, do not even have a mouth, tongue or voice box, nor even a brain to formulate words and cause them to be expressed. So how could all such living creations speak?

When we read what John wrote here, we must conclude that every living creature must have a spirit, and each spirit has a mind and a mouth, even living entities like plants. Then creatures with a mind and mouth of flesh, who cannot speak earthly languages, must also have a mind and mouth of their spirits, which can speak a spiritual or heavenly language in unison with other spirits. This means that animals must be somewhat like human beings, with two minds, both a mind of the flesh and a mind of the spirit. In other words, eternal spirits of life must exist everywhere on earth, since there is life everywhere on earth. And it also means that the materialistic humans who do not acknowledge this spiritual reality must have completely sleeping, totally blind or extremely dishonest spirits in them.

And surely we cannot honestly say that John’s account of these words spoken by all living creations was merely allegorical or figurative. For, if it was, then what did John intend this figure of speech to represent? After all, none of the prophets or apostles invented meaningless fiction for entertainment purposes alone. Whenever a prophet or apostle spoke figuratively, he clearly alluded to exactly what the allegory or metaphor represented. Their words were never ambiguous, since their whole purpose for writing the Scriptures was to explicitly teach doctrines in a way that even the most common souls could understand what God was telling them. God did not send the prophets or apostles to speak in ways that could be interpreted according to our own personal desires, but rather to rebuke the liars who did just that. For only false prophets and fake religious teachers invented their own meanings for the Scriptures, but all the prophets and apostles strove to convey God’s own meaning clearly. So the apostle John was claiming that these words were true, that all living creations esteemed our God.

Obviously John literally meant what he said here, that he saw a simultaneous declaration of God’s worthiness for all praise and worship, by literally all living spirits. And, by listing the different kinds

of living creatures he heard, John indicated that we are to take his description of this event literally. Therefore, we conclude that all living creatures have eternal spirits and all spirits can speak in a language that all other spirits can comprehend. All living creations have eternal spirits that shall enter heaven together with the spirits of all the elect human children of God, just as it also teaches in Rom. 8:17-27. Also, whenever an earthly creature’s spirit speaks, its words can be heard in heaven, because heaven is not far from the spirits living in bodies on the earth. All the spirits of life in bodies on earth are spirits. And all spirits dwell in a spiritual realm, even while they are bound by temporary perceptions of the material realm by the power of God. And, just as John’s spirit stepped out of his perception of earthly existence, so can all the spirits of life in earthly bodies. For all those spirits now live in a place filled with bodies and things made of spiritual substances, in what we would call a spiritual space-time continuum. For earthly existence is within the spiritual realm, and we merely perceive time in space on earth through the power of God, as His Spirit defines time for our spirits.

Furthermore, since all living creations spoke the same words in unison, it also suggests a unity of all the spirits of all living organisms on earth, that is, all that are destined to dwell in heaven. This is something we see daily, in every ecosystem on earth. The predator kills the prey, with the intent of sending the spirit of the prey back home to heaven, while that predator consumes the energy of the prey’s body to remain in its perceptions of the material space-time continuum. Of course, human beings have infantile spirits dulled by sin, and live in delusions, because God’s first and foremost punishment for lies and sins is to hand the sinner over Satan, to be deluded by him. So humans seldom hear the spirits of other living creations, nor the spirits of other human beings. Few human spirits ever wake enough to truly hear and love other spirits. But the voices of all spirits are real and are actually heard in heaven. And all living organisms on earth, aside from the non-elect, are created with spirits who inherently love our Father and Jesus, who are one. All spirits worship God and rejoice in His serving love, wisdom and power. We know this is true, because literally all the living creatures emphatically declared: “To Him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb be blessing and honour and glory and might forever and ever!” When John heard them say this, he was “in the spirit” visiting heaven, and his spirit honestly interpreted the language of those spirits for us, so we might know this truth. Then John assured us that these were literal words spoke by all these creatures, since he then told us that the four living creatures, who were authoritative officials in God’s court and government, all said, “Amen!” That is, all four affirmed that the words of all the living creations on earth and in heaven, confirmed that all those creatures did indeed know God and loved God. Lastly, we saw that the 24 human elders fall down, likely to a prostrate position, to worship God the Father and God the Son. So too, every morning, as light returns to earthly days, all living creatures on the earth cry out these words. And, if we could hear them, as John did in heaven, we too would fall down and worship Jesus. For their cry is the sound of all God’s plans working for the good of all, the sound of comforting, telling us that all our troubles will soon cease, that all will be well in the end.

 

Beginning of the End

Now John indicated the unity of the first five seals, how their eras merge into one long period of time, where all occur simultaneously, but with each of the five eras primarily characterized by the actions which God causes in each of them. Not only do each of the first four seals have a horse and rider, who will all eventually ride together throughout the earth, but each of those first four eras is also introduced by one of “four living creatures” in heaven. And these four creatures are all one inseparable group who all share a similar function. Thus, a oneness is implied for the first four eras.

Since there are eyes that see all around these four living creatures above God’s throne (Rev. 4:6), they must be watchmen of some kind, and the kind of watchmen who ensure that God’s judgments from the throne are enforced to perfection and completion. Because they stand before the judgment throne and seem to be overseers, they definitely are not ordinary watchmen or guards. Also, God appointed them to coordinate the actions of the four horsemen, as commanding officers who are enforcing God’s judgments upon the Roman beast’s empire which invaded all the earth. All four living creatures also appear to think with one mind since, since all four cried out “Amen” together in unison (Rev 5:14). And it was because these four living creatures seem to work as one, in mind and purpose, that they sent out the four horsemen. Thus, we can assume that the four horsemen will each begin to attack and expose the world-wide Roman empire one at a time, each on a different front line, but all four will continue their attacks as one army of God until Rome is completely defeated, which will only occur when Jesus returns. So we have seen their attacks since the second century, and are still seeing their attacks to this day, even while we live in the tail end of the fifth seal’s era.

As each living creature introduces a different horseman to begin a different era, the eras of the first four seals appear to merge into one long epoch, where all four eras labour and fight for one major, common goal and purpose. All four seems to prepare the world for the events of the last two seals, especially for the events of the seventh seal, when Jesus returns. All four also expose the evils of the beast’s kingdom, which spreads like a disease into the whole world. Due to this unity of purpose, it implies that we will only sense when the four eras are nearing their end as we see some kind of sign. And that sign is the fifth seal. During the era of the fifth seal, the unholy beast’s kingdom will attack the people who love the Word of God and testify about it. This does not necessarily mean that the Roman religion will attack only Christians. Rather, it means that Rome will persecute and kill all who love the loving, just, equitable teachings found in God’s Word, who testify about the truths found in God’s Word. The fullness of that kingdom’s humanistic lies and evil delusions will become evident to all whose spirits bear an inherent propensity to love in just, pure and equitable way, that is, to all the sleeping and awakened elect. When we see this knowledge of the just and loving truths in God’s Word increase, and the adverse reaction to this by humanists, then we will know that God’s destruction of the beast’s kingdom will soon begin. We will realize that the end times of the sixth and seventh seals are drawing near when we see these increased persecutions during the fifth seal’s era.

We should also realize that the eras of the seven seals will grow shorter as they unfold. For, after describing some of the initial events of the last days, Jesus stated, “All these are but the beginning of the birth pains” (Mat. 24:8, ESV). And, when Jesus declared, “these are but the beginning,” He was referring to the eras of the first four seals, since He summarized them in the previous four verses (Mat. 24:4-7). And notice how Jesus described the first four eras together, as though they were one long epoch which is “but the beginning.” Then, after saying this, His next words alluded to the fifth seal's era of persecution (see Mat. 24:9). This era of the fifth seal, with the increased persecutions of the elect, implies an end of one whole epoch, an end of the first four eras signalled by the fifth era. Then Jesus compared the eras of all seven seals to “birth pains.” As a woman draws nearer to the time of actually giving birth, the time between each birth pain decreases, while the intensity of her pains increase. Thus, the eras of the first four seals represent the longest eras with the lesser pains.

Of course, by this time, the eras of the first three seals definitely have already occurred, with many residual actions still occurring to this day. And, throughout the last two hundred years, the eras of the fourth and fifth seals seem to have been unfolding, with both now still occurring simultaneously. All five of those eras, as history plainly reveals, have been very painful. But the tribulation of the future eras of the sixth and seventh seals will be much worse, and will continue to grow more painful until

life on earth becomes almost unbearable for all living creatures, shortly before Jesus returns. Yet the length of the last two eras will be very short, since the “birth” of God’s kingdom ruling the earth, after the return of Jesus, will occur only a couple of decades after the seventh seal’s era begins. For Jesus said all the agonies of the seventh seal’s era will be over within one generation (which likely means in less than 40 years), because it will be so painful that all mankind would perish if those days were not shortened. Now think about how bad the lesser pains of the first five seals have been during the last two millenniums. Then multiply that by about a hundred and you will begin to get an idea of how bad the days of the seventh seal’s seven trumpets will be. This is surely a frightening thought!

The era of the first seal was to be characterized by kings making conquests. It seems that Jesus caused this conquering in order to allow the Roman Empire to spread and divide, just as Daniel prophesied about the kingdom of Satan’s beast. During this first era, the Roman Empire was split into various factions, nations and people groups that will exist until Jesus returns. So Jesus begins the last days by breaking apart and fragmenting the power of the beast’s fourth kingdom (i.e., Rome), through much conquering by rival wanna-be human gods, by warring emperors or kings. This conquering was to cause much suffering and many deaths, while it also exposed the senseless greed and evil hunger for power among those conquering rulers of the devil’s humanistic kingdom.

Until the end, when the Satan-possessed beast comes to claim his kingdom, God forbade that Rome would ever become a united, powerful, dominant world power. Yet, because of this fracturing of the Roman Empire, the beast’s religion of humanism disseminated everywhere. It spread to all parts of the world like a malignant cancer. And, for all practical purposes, a cancer can be defined as a group of selfish cells who refuse to serve the body for its own good, but greedily conquer parts of the body for themselves, until they kill the entire body, including themselves. Likewise, the beast’s own self-worshipping religion of Roman humanism will establish a dominant world power and unite Satan’s children, gathering them into one body in his war against God and God’s people. But God will only allow this to occur after Jesus gathers His elect into one body during the era of the sixth seal. So, by the works of these first four seals, Jesus will weaken and expose the Roman Empire and divide it into warring factions until His elect realize that Rome is a cancer killing the earth. Yet this waking of the elect during the sixth seal’s era will provides the coming beast, at the beginning of his seven-year reign, with the excuse and means to unite the humanistic God-haters from seven nations that once formed the body of ancient Rome. Then, near the end of that beast’s seven-year reign, he will raise up the bitter wrath of all humanists in the entire world, and unite all into a united army, in order to attack God’s people and destroy Jerusalem, the place of their hope. Then all their wicked, selfish, exploitative lies will be exposed to all the elect in the entire world, before Jesus destroys all of them.

Revelation 6:1-2 (ESV): “Now I watched when the Lamb opened one of the seven seals, and

I heard one of the four living creatures say with a voice like thunder, 'Come!' And I looked,

and behold, a white horse! And its rider had a bow , and a crown was given to him, and he

came out conquering, and to conquer.”

Here we see what one of God’s four living creatures began to do on earth, when he sent out the first of the four riders. The mission was to raise up conquerors. And the context indicates that this was to be a world-wide mission. Furthermore, these were obviously evil conquerors, not conquerors for God’s kingdom. Now a conquerer is a king ruling over a kingdom, with ambitions to expand his kingdom by seizing other kingdoms for himself. And a king riding into battle on a white horse revealed that these kings were extremely confident in the ability of their armies to easily overcome vastly inferior armies of the kingdoms they were conquering. For a king on a white horse could be easily spotted among the rank and file soldiers, who would either ride common brown horses or

walk on foot. And, if a king was spotted by the enemy and killed, the battle would be lost, since there would be no king left to fight for, and no way to effectively divide the spoils of war while rivals were fighting over who would replace the king. Thus, if there was any chance that the enemy could break through the front lines of the king’s army, then the king would wear more common garments and ride on a more common brown horse, to prevent himself from being spotted by enemy soldiers.

This prophecy signifies that kings with huge and very well trained armies, and with soldiers who bear vastly superior weapons, shall go out to crush smaller kingdoms that are utterly incapable of defending themselves against the attacks of those conquerors. In other words, the first rider is sent by God to allow the unjust Roman factions in the beast’s kingdom to expand their territories throughout the world, so they might spread the devil’s religion of humanism to all the kingdoms of the earth. At first, this would seem to suggest that God was on the side of the beast, since God allows the beast’s kingdom to conquer all the other lesser nations on earth. But, of course, all those other nations had their own religions, and none of their pagan religions were as subtly effective at promoting evil as the religion of humanism. Therefore, Satan wanted to eliminate or corrupt all those other religions, so all nations would be guided by his humanistic principles of self-worship, and the worship of his esteemed elite human psychopaths in steep hierarchies designed to thwart God’s just and loving purposes on earth. However, God also wanted this purest of all Satanic religions to disseminate throughout the earth, because that religion would expose which humans were the loveless non-elect and which were his loving elect. In other words. the spread of humanism would expose the motives and intentions of the non-elect, and cause His elect to part from them, creating a dichotomy on earth.

This first rider is a spirit who obeys the commands of one of the four living creatures, causing kings to rise up, conquer and subjugate all parts of the earth, forcing them to join various factions of the Roman Empire. Many of these kings and their armies were originally mercenaries (Auxilia) in the ancient Roman Army of the first century. They entered into the Roman Empire as foreigners trained by Rome to fight in Roman wars for the profit of Rome, and offered Roman citizenship for them and their families if they loyally served in Rome’s ruthless army for 25 years. But, while these foreigners fought Rome’s battles, most of the original Roman Citizens stayed at home, indulging in themselves, living off of the proceeds of captured and coerced slaves, and the Roman taxes which were extracted from subjugated foreign nations through a threat of extreme violence, as well as the booty plundered by their mercenary armies. Like today, the citizens of Rome fed off of the misery, tragedies and labours of the souls who were conquered and oppressed by Rome. But, over time, the well-trained foreign mercenaries and their exploited people rebelled. And, since the self-worshipping original Roman citizens became weak and incapable of defending themselves, their former mercenary armies were able to overcome and conquer the decadent Roman Empire. Then these foreign conquerors, who had all thoroughly adopted the religion of Roman humanism, established exploitative kingdoms of their own, humanistic kingdoms exactly like the original Roman state. So those foreign kingdoms may have called themselves by other names, but they were all factious parts of one Roman Empire.

So this first rider not only spreads the Roman beast’s religion throughout the world, but also causes kings and their armies to conquer the original kingdom of Rome itself, so that the fourth kingdom of the beast could become factious, just as Daniel prophesied (Dan. 2:41, et al.). Later, Daniel described this as kingdom which shall “cut off” (kill) the Messiah too. And Rome did kill Jesus on the cross, as it worked together with false Jewish leaders, who were also humanists. So Rome has been positively identified as Satan’s fourth kingdom, the worst of all religions which oppose God. Yet the spirit of this first rider is a soldier in God’s army, although the power and actions of this rider causes the spirits in the hearts of Rome’s armies to make war and conquer inferior armies in other kingdoms.

These divided Roman conquerors are described here as powerful and confident of victory. Since the first rider had a white horse himself, his spirit brought victory to the Roman conquerors who rode white horses, to kings who greatly trusted in their own ability to overcome lesser armies. The white horse implied that the spirit of this first rider inspired confidence in Roman kings, an assurance that they possessed more than enough military might to conquer and keep the territories they attacked. And these conquerors came with a figurative bow, not a sword, because this first rider came with a bow, not with a sword. And this is not a common portrayal of a conquering king. Most kings liked to be portrayed with a sword. For a bow killed at a distance, while the sword required face-to-face combat. So the sword implied personal courage and a will to personally overcome one’s enemies and “earn” the victory. But the bow represented impersonal killing from a distance, including political and economic actions, used to overcome enemies, cowardly acts, so a conqueror could plunder the dead without ever facing them directly, without granting them a real chance to defend themselves.

In the eyes of a first-century military mind, this rider’s bow prophesied that these kings would coldly calculate who to conquer, subjugate, oppress and exploit, based solely on the military, financial and political advantages possessed by these conquerors. They would use their worldly power to conquer for mere political and economic reasons, without any regard for the people they murdered, enslaved and plundered. They would not make war for good reasons, not to free people, not for the welfare of the people who were being conquered, subjugated and oppressed. Rather, this describe what we now call colonialism by these Roman rulers. For the only reasons they would conquer would be through a desire to increase their own power, influence, glory and wealth, for the sakes of their own crowns.

 

Israel Scattered

The era of the first seal, with the first rider sent out to conquer the world for the divided Roman kingdom, was going to last longer than the eras of the other six seals, its time included the conquering of Israel by Rome in the second century, after the Bar Kokhba revolt (132-135 AD). And this is an important event of the last days, since it was prophesied often in both the Old and New Covenant Scriptures, as well as later in the Revelation. And, since we want to basically present the events of the last days in their chronological order, those prophecies should be examined now, before we press on with an exegesis of Scriptures about the second rider and events of the second seal’s era.

It is not until the Revelation begins to describe the sounding of the seventh trumpet, and tells us how that seventh trumpet announces the return of Jesus (Rev. 11:15-19), that the narrative digresses into a description of God’s works throughout history. The entire chapter (Rev. 12:1-17) is about the past. Only the last clause of that twelfth chapter (in some translations) begins to describe the events of the seventh trumpet once again. John intentionally digressed from the chronological narrative to provide background information, a brief history of the world and salvation followed by additional details about Satan, the beast and the Great Prostitute. This chapter even recounts the fall of Satan to the earth at the beginning of material time. Then it symbolically portrays Jesus' birth on earth during His first advent, followed by His ascension into heaven. And it also prophesied about Israel’s future and ongoing persecution by the devil, with Satan’s attack against “the rest of her offspring,” who are the Gentile elect. It prophesied that Israel would flee into the “wilderness” after Jesus' first advent and His ascension, then remain among Gentile nations until the end times, hunted by the Roman beast.

Since Israel’s exile was to occur after Jesus ascended, this was not about the Babylonian or Assyrian invasions of Israel, not about those captivities in Gentile lands. Rather, this exile of the church of

Israel actually did not occur until a few decades after John's death, early in the second century. Now the reason that John provided this background information seems to be because God wanted His people to step back and see the big picture, to realize that all the past and future events of the world rested under His control, so we might face the worst times in history through faith in Him. Jesus wanted us to remember that, when the beast and our greatest tribulations arrive, we will need to focus on Him and not loose faith. This chapter was His gift to His people, to elect Jews and Gentiles.

Revelation 12:1-17 (ESV): “And a great sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the

sun, with the moon under her feet, and on her head a crown of twelve stars. She was pregnant

and was crying out in birth pains and the agony of giving birth. And another sign appeared in

heaven: behold, a great red dragon, with seven heads and ten horns, and on his heads seven

diadems. His tail swept down a third of the stars of heaven and cast them to the earth. And

the dragon stood before the woman who was about to give birth, so that when she bore her

Child he might devour it.”

Here John referred to “a great sign having appeared in the sky” (σημεῖον μέγα ὤφθη ἐν τῷ οὐρανῷ). Since the word οὐρανῷ is singular and, for the ancients, “great signs” in this context of the entire earth’s whole history, this word would refer to the Jewish second heaven, that is, to the sky above the earth’s atmosphere. It likely alludes to the star shining in the sky when the King of the earth was born, the same star that the wise men from the east followed when they set out to visit Jesus. Then the phrase in apposition to this first clause indicates what this sign in the sky pointed to. The sign indicated the presence of “a woman having been clothed and remaining dressed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and a crown of twelve stars upon her head” (γυνὴ περιβεβλημένη τὸν ἥλιον, καὶ ἡ σελήνη ὑποκάτω τῶν ποδῶν αὐτῆς, καὶ ἐπὶ τῆς κεφαλῆς αὐτῆς στέφανος ἀστέρων δώδεκα).

This woman obviously represents the natural and true priesthood of Israel, the elect Jews. For God raised the sign in the skies over Bethlehem in Israel. God also clothed Israel in His strongest light, through His revelations in the Bible, which were brighter than the sun. This woman, Israel, is also portrayed as that “great sign” in the sky, a light to the whole earth, shining even in the spiritual heaven of God. She is held by God far above earth, even above the earth’s moon, which is below her feet. God set her above all the brute lusts and selfish desires of the material world. And God had always maintained 12 tribes in Israel, each with an appointed task in the earthly ministry of teaching and defending the loving justice of their heavenly Father. So they were the crown of Israel, the sign that God had granted Israel a place in His royal court. These twelve tribes were not merely the physical descendants of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. With their gift of the garments of God's light of truth, they were together “clothed with the sun,” even thee one and only authoritative Son of God.

Even the elect Jews whom God has hardened for a time, and caused to reject Jesus as their Messiah, remain under the covering of Jesus’ light, forever clothed with His light. For they remain loved by God, since His election and calling are through grace alone, therefore, irrevocable. And the crown of twelve stars suggests that this woman’s people of her cherished twelve tribes are her power and glory, the very crown of her head and always on her mind. So, with this glorious image of Israel granted to John, God is reminding us that the physical and even wretched appearances of the flesh, with all its degradation through lies and sins, veils the true nature of His creations. When God made the eternal priesthood of Israel through His unconditional covenant with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, the inner spiritual state of His true church was to be forever wondrous in its ministry and its calling.

The Messiah of the world was inside the womb of Israel from the beginning, in Adam and all the solitary priests God chose from his descendants, even in the last of those solitary priests before God

created His priestly nation of Israel, in Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. For God prophesied about the coming of the Messiah to Adam, and Israel has always waited for Him. They still wait for Him and love Him, although most do not yet realize that He is Jesus. Even the line of solitary priests that God raised up through Adam and Seth—including Enoch, Noah, Shem, Terah and Abraham—waited for that Messiah. Then the Messiah’s birth, His first advent on earth, finally arrived. Yet that birth of the world’s Saviour brought “agony” to Israel, so that His light would go out to the elect of all the world.

Then we see a “great red dragon,” who is clearly identified later. Of course, this refers to the devil, the spirit who shall takes the body of a human man which will be called the beast, in order to protect his fourth kingdom of Rome from the power and influence of God and His people. Satan's “seven heads and ten horns” represent the seven European nations and ten kings belonging to the empire of the future beast. So this beast, who is the “messiah” or “anointed one” sent by Satan to his citizens in his world order, will rule over all the sinners God has handed over to that devil, including a few elect sinners. This beast shall be a demonic messiah who opposes God’s Messiah and God’s true church of Israel, who is the pregnant woman clothed with the sun, the Mother of Jesus’ body of human flesh.

Since Satan sends the beast to rule his fourth kingdom of the Roman Empire, and the beast will have the spirit of Satan in him, he will force the ultimate Satanic religion of humanism upon his kingdom and attempt to force it upon the entire world. He will outwardly appear to be extremely charming, professional, self-controlled and politically adept, the opposite of the raging, destructive beast that he is within. And he will work tirelessly to cause all souls to vainly place their faith in him and his highly effective lies, even as each individual humanistic citizen is actually entirely manipulated like a puppet, serving like a slave to the beast’s political ambitions, economy and military aggressions. The elite in the beast’s hierarchy, along with demonic spirits, will commit the most unjust, biased and dehumanizing deeds, all in the name of his brand of justice, through discriminatory laws enforced by illicit authorities who have not been chosen by God. So all the beast’s words and ways will produce hell on earth, the extreme opposite of the loving, just, equitable effects produced in and through His awakened elect by their spirits’ saving faith in Jesus and the counsel of His Holy Spirit.

Not long after the creation, God’s elect angels cast the loveless angels out of the spiritual realm we call heaven, down into God’s temporary material universe. And Satan took a third of the angels in heaven with him when he fell. This was all planned by God when He created those loveless angels, because the temporary material realm was to be a training ground for the infantile spirits of His children, a place where both true love and many loveless lies causing sin could exist beside one another. So, almost as soon as the earth existed, all those fallen angels became an army of demons ruled by Satan, and all of these strove to break free from God, to become their own gods who could do whatever they pleased, with impunity, in loveless ways that took no responsibility for the welfare of anyone or anything else as they pursued their selfish ambitions. But Satan and all those demons

remained guarded in chains upon this earth,2 because all would eventually be cast into hell, into the darkness of lies and delusions which their hearts so deeply craved. And those loveless demons would remain in hell forever, when God’s power withdrew from the material universe, causing it to “burn” and vaporize into literally nothing. But, in the meantime, while Satan and his demons remained on earth, they did exactly what God planned and expected them to do. That is, in their loveless and completely selfish desires to be gods, Satan and his demons established a kingdom to serve them hand and foot, a people they could play with for their own psychopathic entertainment, a people they could deceive and murder to display their own power as gods, or send to die in games of war as one demon god vied for a greater level of esteem and worship than the other. And Satan even created his own human children, the spirits of the non-elect in human bodies of flesh, as his agents appointed to

influence and corrupt the elect sinners whom God handed over to him, or to destroy God’s works and all who were faithful in God’s loving, just kingdom on earth. Of course, God severely limited the power of Satan and those demons. But, since so many elect spirits totally ignored the counsel of their Creator’s Spirit, and sought only the pleasures of their flesh, God allowed those demons to gain much power and many souls on earth. Nevertheless, God also planned an end to all demonic powers.

Obviously, Satan and his demonic horde have always felt the chains that God placed upon their hands and feet. Also, from the very beginning, they all knew they were sentenced to spend eternity in a homeland where they could forever be their own gods. However, in that realm of hell, their own contradicting lies and delusions will never be able to produce anything lasting and substantial, and nothing real and substantial created by God will ever allowed there either. This will serve as their punishment. For they shall all be eternally frustrated in hell, since they will have nothing to abuse, in order to make themselves feel like gods. Therefore, Satan and his demons fear their predestined fate, and have always attempted to war against God, and against all God’s good creations in His earthly kingdom. For all demons remain deeply jealous and resentful of all the spirits of life who love and serve God, all who will eternally dwell with Him, especially His human children. Yet God has only allowed demons to win battles against His people whenever His people refuse to repent from sins.

Consequently, after our God Jesus came to us in a body of flesh, born of a woman’s womb, Satan and his children in the beast’s kingdom tried to destroy His body. That is, through the Roman king called Herod, Satan’s Roman Empire tried to murder Jesus only a year after He was born. But God warned the man and woman whom He appointed to serve as the parents of His young body of flesh. So Mary and Joseph fled with the baby Jesus to safety, likely to the large Jewish community in Egypt (Mat. 2:1-23). Of course, Rome did murder Jesus later, but only after Jesus had completed His predestined ministry, after He established His New Covenant church of Israel. And God let Satan murder His loving body of flesh for a good reason too, because His utterly sinless flesh could then pay the full price demanded by that devil for all the lifetimes of sins committed by the flesh of all the elect throughout history. So His death freed all the elect who ever touched the earth. All sinners are handed over to the kingdom of Satan, to serve as his slaves, since all have proven to prefer Satan to God. But, after Jesus’ body paid the ransom to buy back all elect sinners, who all bear a propensity to repent into the truth which Jesus’ Holy Spirit teaches to their spirits, Satan had no right to own any of them. Since our God Jesus named literally all the elect when He died on the Roman cross, all bore the right to claim His bodily death as their own. All the elect vicariously died with the Messiah’s body of flesh, and dead slaves cannot be owned by anyone. So all the elect who remain alive on earth are free to begin their full eternal justification, to be taught and trained by Jesus’ Holy Spirit, until all became perfectly loving and just, holy enough to enter heaven, which is their salvation.

However, this great work of salvation by our God Jesus has made Satan and his demons furious, since God justly deprived them of all their ill-gotten gain. So the spirits of the demons have been calling their non-elect human puppets to persecute all the elect being gathered into God’s kingdom, both Christians and Jews. Satan’s slaves labour night and day to establish humanistic fake churches to distract as many elect as possible from God’s salvation, to turn their focus solely toward matters of the flesh, like physical words and rituals. For Satan wants to prevent elect spirits from waking up to hear the counsel of God’s Holy Spirit, lest they enter into the freedom of Jesus’ salvation through faith in His teaching and training. And demons have been deceiving and persecuting the elect ever since the day Jesus first sent His Holy Spirit into elect hearts and souls on that day of the Pentecost.

“She gave birth to a male Child, One who is to rule all the nations with a rod of iron, but her

Child was caught up to God and to His throne, and the woman fled into the wilderness,

where she has a place prepared by God, in which she is to be nourished for 1,260 days.”

This passage (Rev. 12:5-6) clearly refers to the birth of Jesus, through the mother of His flesh, who is the physical Israel. For God promised to send the Messiah to the elect among the physical descendants of Jacob, although this Messiah would also gather the elect from Gentile nations into Israel’s priesthood and salvation too, just as He did from the beginning. And Jesus will soon rule the Gentile nations who now reject Him “with a rod of iron,” through unyielding truth and justice, not allowing their unjust lies and powers to prevail any longer. None in Satan’s kingdom will be able to stand against Him. He will smash through their false churches and deceiving philosophies like an iron bar through the sheets of cheap paper they write their vain words and self-serving laws upon.

Then we are told that Israel’s “Child was caught up to God and to His throne.” This obviously refers to the ascension of Jesus into heaven after His death and resurrection. So it was after the birth and the ascension of Jesus that the next event was to occur, which was where “the woman fled into the wilderness, where she has a place prepared by God, in which she is to be nourished for 1,260 days.” And this clearly refers to Israel fleeing from her homeland about AD 135, when Rome forced the deportation of almost the entire population of Israel into a prolonged exile in the “wilderness” of the Gentile nations. This flight of Israel had not yet occurred when John wrote these words, but it did happen only about 40 years after he died. So this exile into the wilderness was a predestined event and it was going to occur to preserve Israel in a “place prepared by God,” to maintain Israel as God's sanctified people, as His sanctified priesthood who would eventually serve the world in His name.

The Greek clause (ἵνα ἐκεῖ τρέφωσιν αὐτὴν ἡμέρας χιλίας διακοσίας ἑξήκοντα) might be translated as: “... so that they might keep her alive there until the 1,260 days.” In context, the number in the accusative case might indicate the time of Israel's relative safety among the Gentiles (during her exile into the “wilderness”), which would end after 1,260 days. But it is not likely that John meant that all of Israel would remain in exile for only about three and a half years. Rather, when we consider the context of the previous chapter about the beast, John actually meant that Israel would remain in a fairly safe kind of exile among the Gentiles during a certain period of time lasting 1,260 days. A period of grace, lasting 1,260 days, would occur in the distant future. And this period of time would refer to the first half of the beast's seven-year reign, which shall occur after only some of the exiles return to the land of Israel, but only a small portion of them. And those three and a half years will also be when two prophets proclaim God’s words in Jerusalem, against the lies of the beast (see Rev. 11:3). Then, after those 1,260 days, after the first three and a half years of the beast’s seven-year reign, Satan’s Roman kingdom of the beast will begin to violently persecute Jews again, as well as Israel’s “other children,” that is, the truly Christian Gentiles joined to God’s New Covenant Israel.

The beast will murder Jews and true Christians until the very end of his reign. But, until the last half of the beast’s reign, Israel’s descendants will be kept alive (τρέφω or “nourished”) in various Gentile nations (in the ‘wilderness’ where Israel fled). Also, other prophecies tell us that some Israelites will return to their land before the return of their Messiah Jesus. But those prophecies seem to indicate that only about a third of the diaspora, that is, likely about the same percentage of Jews that lived in Israel during ancient Roman times, will return. Yet all the remaining Israelites, the other two thirds, will not return to Israel until an unspecified but appointed time after Jesus returns to rule the earth.

“Now war arose in heaven, Michael and his angels fighting against the dragon. And the

dragon and his angels fought back, but he was defeated and there was no longer any place for

them in heaven. And the great dragon was thrown down, that ancient serpent, who is called

the devil and Satan, the deceiver of the whole world—he was thrown down to the earth, and

his angels were thrown down with him. And I heard a loud voice in heaven, saying, 'Now the

salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God and the authority of His Christ have

come, for the accuser of our brothers has been thrown down, who accuses them day and night

before our God.”

The first part of this narrative (Rev. 12:7-9) reminds us that Satan was cast out of heaven, from the eternal spiritual space-time continuum of God’s heaven, down to the earth, into the material space-time continuum. Then John continues his prophecy about the end times (Rev. 12:10), and tells us that “Now” (ἄρτι) something new is occurring: “Now the salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God and the decision-making authority of His Messiah came, because the accuser of our brothers, the one accusing them before the face of our God night and day, has been cast down” (Ἄρτι ἐγένετο ἡ σωτηρία καὶ ἡ δύναμις καὶ ἡ βασιλεία τοῦ θεοῦ ἡμῶν καὶ ἡ ἐξουσία τοῦ χριστοῦ αὐτοῦ, ὅτι ἐβλήθη ὁ κατήγωρ τῶν ἀδελφῶν ἡμῶν, ὁ κατηγορῶν αὐτοὺς ἐνώπιον τοῦ θεοῦ ἡμῶν ἡμέρας καὶ νυκτός). Note the present participle κατηγορῶν here, also indicating the present time along with the particle ἄρτι. So this is a prophecy about the future, about an event which is destined to occur after the present time. The aorists in this verse tell us that an already predestined event will happen soon.

So here John is telling us how Jesus, the Messiah, will save His “brothers” on earth, when He comes, by throwing Satan and demons even further down, that is, into the spiritual space-time continuum of hell. Satan’s appointed time on the temporary earth, where he and his fallen angels remain in chains, is limited and about to end. Our God Jesus plans to remove those demons from the earth very soon. To us, it seems that God allowed those demonic spirits to stay on earth a very long time, since they began their stay in the days of the first elect human beings, Adam and Eve. But, in reality, nothing but energy defines the dimension of time and the three dimensions of space. Yet material energy, in material light and matter, is actually the spiritual power of God causing us to perceive time and space. God’s power makes all material reality real, as real as He is Himself, as real as His heavenly creations. Still, this reality means that literally all past times exist now, together with all future times, in a space that exists within the spiritual space-time continuum, where God lives. Therefore, no real and non-linear spiritual time has actually passed since the days of Adam and Eve, nor is there any space between us and our God Jesus in heaven. Conversely, no spiritual time will pass until the earth ends, and it is very soon. Furthermore, God created this temporary material existence for this reason, that He might make a training ground for His elect children, a place where both loveless evil and His loving good could exist at the same time, for the teaching and training of our infantile elect spirits.

So, for a few verses, John steps back to the beginning of time, to the days shortly after God created the material universe, to explain the reason for Satan's wrath against the woman and her male Child, Jesus. This repeats what John previously said in verse four, when he told us that a great red dragon’s “tail drew one third of the stars of the sky, and threw them to the earth.” Here John more specifically informs us about the identity of the figurative “dragon.” That dragon is Satan, “the deceiver of the whole world,” the spiritual being who has been corrupting and deluding human beings from the beginning of earthly time. By the way, if a third of the “stars” created in heaven were demons, then two thirds of the “stars” created and still remaining in heaven must all be friendly, good, elect angels.

Also, if a dragon figuratively represents Satan, it does not mean all creatures called dragons (such as great lizards or dinosaurs) are evil. In biblical literature, when evil spirits are figuratively represented by animals, or demons do their works by manifesting themselves in animal bodies, it does not make those animal species evil. In fact, the spirits of God’s elect angels are also figuratively represented by

animal bodies, sometimes by manifesting in the same kinds of animal bodies that demons do. For instance, birds were figuratively portrayed as both angels and demons. But normal birds are simply seen as creatures with eternal spirits of life in them, as spirits created by God for His own purposes, and were not seen as being inherently evil. So, if one culture portrays dragons as the friends of good people, but another as the enemies of all that is good, both may be correct. We must not hold to any superstitious attitudes about animals or anything else, but seek God’s counsel in all our judgments.

Now the Scriptures say that Satan and his angels sinned in the very beginning. And this certainly must have occurred before that devil sinned by adopting the form of a serpent with legs, when he tempted Adam and Eve. So Satan and all those demonic spirits must have been cast down to the earth before or during the time that Adam and Eve lived in the Garden of Eden. And this also means that Satan and the third of the other angels in heaven were not cast down into hell in the very beginning. Therefore, this logically means that most versions of the Bible do not correctly translate the word ταρταρόω in II Peter 2:4, when they say it means “to cast into hell.” Rather, the apostles obviously believed that word meant, “to cast down to a lower place,” and Peter was actually saying that the devil was “cast down to the earth” there too. Peter was warning us that evil spirits exist on earth, but also comforting us by telling us that those powerful evil entities are “guarded” or limited by God, and can only overcome humans if God will allow it. In the meantime, God has preordained that those loveless spirits will go down into the dark pit, that the judgment reserved for them is hell.

After stating these things, John’s narrative in verses 10-12 leaps ahead, all the way from the very beginning of earthly time to the end times, to the days of the beast’s advent in the times of the Seventh Trumpet, which will occur just prior to Christ’s return. For he tells us: “Now has been brought to pass the salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God, even the decision-making authority of His Messiah” (Ἄρτι ἐγένετο ἡ σωτηρία καὶ ἡ δύναμις καὶ ἡ βασιλεία τοῦ θεοῦ ἡμῶν καὶ ἡ ἐξουσία τοῦ χριστοῦ αὐτοῦ). Then John provides us with his reason for saying this: “because the accuser of our brothers has been cast down, the one accusing them day and night before the face of our God” (ὅτι ἐβλήθη ὁ κατήγωρ τῶν ἀδελφῶν ἡμῶν, ὁ κατηγορῶν αὐτοὺς ἐνώπιον τοῦ θεοῦ ἡμῶν ἡμέρας καὶ νυκτός). All this refers to the time of Christ’s return, which we now know shall be more than two millenniums after His first advent. Yet the aorists in these clauses indicate that our salvation had already “been brought to pass” and that Satan, with his host of fallen angels, had already “been cast down” into hell at the very time John wrote the Revelation, that is, in about AD 86. In other words, all that we have not yet seen, all that will occur in the future end times, has already been predetermined. And all those predestined events were written in the scroll with those seven seals seals that only our God Jesus was worthy to unseal, and all created at the beginning of earthly time.

It may difficult for us, while God’s power causes us to experience the flow of earthly time, to fully conceive of the reality that the future already exists, and that the past still exists. Yet that is not only what the apostle John taught about time, back in the first century, but also what physicists have discovered about time in our day. Of course, here John was talking about the fulfilling of God’s predestined promise of His New Covenant salvation in Christ, the promise that our Rock of salvation will crush the beast’s fourth kingdom into dust, just as Daniel prophesied (Dan. 2:34-35,44-45). We have already begun to receive the main promises of the New Covenant salvation, on the day of the Pentecost, after our Messiah’s first advent. Even now we can obtain the works of the Messiah’s inner salvation, the writing of God’s law upon our hearts (i.e., God’s Holy Spirit teaching and training our spirits to know and apply God’s ways of love based on truth). But, when Jesus returns, which will be about seven years after the seventh trumpet sounds, He will grant us this other earthly promise. That is, He will surely crush Satan’s world order, so that God alone shall rule the earth in loving justice.

Then, after God removes the perception of earthly time from all life, we will pass through the judgment day. And that last day at the gates of heaven will perfect and complete our spirits, using our perceptions of earthly existence as an illustration of the principles we need to know before we go home to heaven’s capital city of New Jerusalem. Only after that final day will literally all the promises of His New Covenant salvation be entirely fulfilled, so we can enter the city together, as one people, as family heirs of our heavenly Father. In the meantime, “This is the work of God, that you people might put your trusting confidence into the One whom He sent” (Τοῦτό ἐστιν τὸ ἔργον τοῦ θεοῦ ἵνα πιστεύητε εἰς ὃν ἀπέστειλεν ἐκεῖνος). In other words, our whole reason for being subjected to our perceptions of earthly times and experiences is so that we might learn to confidently trust in the teachings that our Lord’s Holy Spirit whispers into the ears of our spirits. Nothing else matters more than this. For, if you give up your time, energy and resources in order to attend some kind of school, but you do not trust anything your teacher says, you will simply waste all your hours, strength and precious gifts by going there. Yet that is exactly what many elect souls do throughout their entire lives in this earthly school for our spirits, although this too has been ordained for some.

When Jesus commands the seventh trumpet to sound, it will announce the imminent return of Jesus and the utter destruction of the beast, even the deaths all Satan’s loveless, non-elect children still remaining upon the earth. This verse (v. 10) ensures us that Christ’s predestined return certainly will occur, no matter how much Satan tries to stop it from happening (cf. Rev. 11:15). Satan, and all the angels with him, were cast out of heaven, to be guarded in chains upon the earth. So it will definitely not be a difficult task for our God, Jesus, to conquer Satan and his fallen angels upon the earth. This is not a battle that Jesus and His elect might somehow lose. So our focus must rest on trusting in Him, not in the panic-inducing conspiracies that lying pastors preach for their own financial profit.

While it is impossible for any infantile human spirit to overcome even the least of the demons, the power of our God Jesus does so very easily. When Jesus returns and utterly destroys the beast's power, even his well-armed military, it has been ordained that He will cast the beast and Satan into hell. This is what these verses are reminding us about, and expounds upon later in this prophecy (Rev. 20:1-4). For John wants us to thoroughly trust Jesus to win this victory for us, because we will never be able to win it through our own works. Our work is to trust whatever He tells our spirits to do through wise, just and freely willing love, which may include fighting in wars at times, but will never involve dehumanizing propaganda, unnecessary violence, unjust incarceration, slavery or anything else that God’s fulfilled New Covenant Law forbids through the Messiah’s Holy Spirit.

Since all God’s elect have infantile spirits dwelling in unruly bodies of flesh, they all sin. Thus, Satan not only accuses us with slander, but can also easily find ways of legitimately accuse all of us of real crimes and sins, night and day, even before the very face of God in heaven, since the devil is a spirit in the spiritual realm and has not yet been confined to hell. Satan has ample evidence to use against us and, as a spirit, he can still speak to God from his earthly prison, in the same way our own spirits can. For the earth is actually close to heaven, even inside heaven. But Satan accuses us because he has a right to own all sinners, and we are all real sinners. Then that devil also bears the right to take away our earthly bodies, to kill our flesh, because our sinful spirits rightfully belong to him and he is able to confiscate a slaves possessions at any time, even the bodies we temporarily borrow from God. Yet, in these verses, we clearly see the difference between the judgments of God and Satan’s judgments against us. That devil judges us according to our past actions and disregards all changes in our spirits’ motives and intentions through repentance. But God judges the inherent desires of our spirits, our potential to love rightly in the future, with a little help from His able hands.

Last Days Timeline

 

First God imprisoned Satan on earth for a long time, waiting thousands of years before carrying out the sentence of Satan’s “second death” in hell. God gave Satan ample time to prove that he will never repent and that he does indeed deserve the punishment he will receive. Yet Satan continues to accuse the elect day and night, behaving like a corrupt, very biased prosecutor who is determined to see the immediate destruction of all whom he hates. There is no patient waiting for justice in Satan’s realm, no long delay to gather any evidence of motives and intentions in the hearts of the accused, nor any time allowed for their reflection and repentance. Satan, only demands immediate vengeance, through his impulsive and compulsive accusations “day and night,” without ceasing. And Satan does not simply accuse those whom he hates, but also eternally condemns their very spirits—even when elect spirits did not actually do the sins he is accusing them of doing. And, if Satan is accusing them of sins they did actually commit, Satan definitely will not stop condemning them for the sins they did commit. Even if it becomes evident that their sins were done through ignorance or were caused by Satan’s own temptations, that devil will show no mercy. Nor does Satan seek a just punishment, one that is of the same weight as the crime. Rather, Satan wants to eternally torture all whom he unjustly and irrationally hates, to cause them all extraordinary pain forever, to send them all to hell so he can abuse them for all eternity. In other words, Satan practises a Roman kind of unjust justice.

Still, the fact remains that Jesus is the only Lord and Judge, and that all elect spirits were created with an ability to repent into the truth. Consequently, literally all elect spirits can be redeemed into a loving, beneficial and joyful eternal life. All elect spirits can be taught and trained to justly love in a God-like way, if they are given enough time and the right Teacher. Therefore, not one of God’s elect children, whose spirits were all created in God’s image, can ever be justly sent to hell. Nevertheless, although Satan knows this truth, he still seeks to destroy God’s heirs regardless, through his own very unjust, filthy pride, as he strives to make himself feel like a god. And Satan does all this for his own sick pleasure. For Satan gains a perverse satisfaction whenever God allows him to crush and kill any souls, even those of his own children, since it somehow proves to his own deluded mind that he is bigger, stronger and more cunning than his victims. Torture and murder make him feel god-like.

But God only allows that devil to destroy and kill those who hate His loving ways. So Satan and his minions are not always allowed to destroy and kill. Thus, he settles for the next best thing, which is to heap guilt upon elect souls until they become emotionally incapacitated or even suicidal. But our loving and just God does the opposite, simultaneously, if our elect spirits will take the time to listen to His Spirit. And God never instantly condemns and punishes the wicked. God always takes His time to prove what is in their hearts, to the sinners own minds, then often irrefutably exposes them to others as well, so the testimonies of those others might lead the sinner into a confession of personal failures and sins. For God always seeks repentance into the truth first, so He might forgive sins, then heal and restore what was lost by the victims of sins and crimes. The first and primary focus of God’s kind of justice is to redeem whomever and whatever He is able to redeem. God only punishes those who refuse to repent into the truth, into the reality of the ways He designed for the good of all.

And the thing that is so astounding to those with a heart ruled by Roman Platonic humanism, is that God Himself chose to walk among us in a body of human flesh, then humbly served us in that body of flesh, then even gave that body over to be murdered by Satan’s children to pay for the sins of His beloved elect children. Jesus paid the just penalty that the devil demanded for our sins with His body of flesh, to provide for our full forgiveness and to restore His relationship with us. God did all this because He wanted to pay the price our their accuser, Satan, demanded for our sins. And now that God paid this price, Satan can no longer call the elect sinners his property, or force us to be slaves in his world order. Now the elect can enter God’s kingdom, as freed slaves, as true citizens of heaven.

Furthermore, we know God is utterly holy. So He cannot join His life to the lives of any unrepentant sinners, since they will continue to sin, because they refuse to confidently trust in Him to teach and train their spirits. And, if God forgave unrepentant sinners in order to restore His relationship with them, such an action would be tantamount to Him also partaking in their sins. This would make God into a sinner too. So, for His own children, He made their hopeless situation hopeful, by doing His work on the cross. This made it possible for Him to grant us His just and right forgiveness, with the atonement of our relationship with Him. If our spirits trust His Holy Spirit to teach us the truth, so our spirits might then repent into that truth and begin to be trained to apply that truth, then our God Jesus can justly forgive our sins and restore His relationship with us. So, even when God admonishes us and rebukes our sins, God does this so we will turn our attention to Him, then trust Him to teach and train our spirits. For He wants our spirits to learn His right and effective ways to love and to live abundant lives. God teaches us so we might repent into truth, to walk humbly and rightly with Him.

We need to carefully observe this great difference between the way God judges and the way Satan judges. Then we also need to honestly ask ourselves if we judge in the same way Satan does, or in the way God does. And we must also realize that the Roman way is Satan’s way, not God’s just way.

“And they have conquered him [i.e., the elect have conquered Satan] by the blood of the Lamb

and by the word of their testimony, for they loved not their lives even unto death. Therefore,

rejoice, O heavens and you who dwell in them! But woe to you, O earth and sea, for the devil

has come down to you in great wrath, because he knows that his time is short!'”

After the great revival or sealing of the elect during the era of the sixth seal, Satan and his Roman humanism will be conquered, then ground to dust at the return of Jesus. For the elect will then know enough about the “the blood of the Lamb” to become immune to the gas-lighting of the devil. All of Satan’s accusations against the elect, all his gas-lighting and condemning deceptions, all his attempts to destroy the love and life that Jesus puts in elect hearts, will become empty background noise to those set apart for God’s purposes. In the meantime, we need to realize how those dehumanizing lies so effectively disable us. It is because his lies actually bear a sprinkling of truth. And those little bits of truth make his exaggerated claims and truncated logic seem so believable. That strong artificial flavouring of partial truths gets under our thin skins. After all, Satan does not need to lie about us committing sins, since literally all of us are indeed sinners. So all that demonic spirit needs to do is turn us away from God’s saving counsel, to make us feel like dirt. Then that devil deludes his own loveless children so they will either ignore or take pride in their own sins, and even begin to think they are superior to God’s loving children. After that, those blind and empty souls will soon begin to patriotically slander, dehumanize, enslave, persecute and murder the under-confident, deceived elect.

Every vile lie and deception has a few elements of truth in it, to make it sound more convincing. And Satan’s psychopathic children are all experts at transforming these “truths” into lies and deceptions, so they might destroy the love, faith and joy in elect hearts. But all of these soul-crushing and evil perversions of humbling realities are actually invented by the spirit of Satan himself, by the worst of sinners, by the worst of hypocrites, whose motives are always evil. They do not actually come from the little minds of the dark human spirits in his psychopathic children. And this is why, throughout all history and in all the murderers of all time, the deadly persecutions of loving souls have always seemed to be based on identical reiterations of exactly the same themes, but simply verbalized and applied in slightly different linguistic and cultural methodologies. All those psychopaths seem to be clones placed in different bodies and garments, because they are clones. And exactly the same little depressing, malignant, lying and murdering thoughts of the same devil are in them, with a few added thoughts from the same host of demonic spirits under his command. Since the beginning, demonic

spirits have continuously filled the devil’s human children with the same lies and same kinds of false reasoning, stirring them up into the same kinds of blind fits of rage against the same Creator God and God’s loving children. And those liars have been destroying loving individuals and societies as much as they possibly can since the days of Adam and Eve. Yet very few elect have overcome them.

Now, through “the blood of the Lamb,” the condemnation of sin is removed from us, from all who can repent into being taught and trained to truly and justly love in Christ. So our focus is no longer upon our own sinful selves, but upon our Counsellor, on Jesus Himself, so we might hear His words of unadulterated truth, so He might grow abundant life in us and in all we touch. We do not focus on ourselves, neither to condemn nor to praise ourselves, as Satan would have us do. Instead, we rise, set our eyes on the tasks ahead, then follow Jesus into the labours of the day. For Jesus is the only wise and only truly righteous Leader and Guide, the only Saviour of all of God’s elect children. Now we know that, during the last half of the beast's seven-year reign, Satan will slaughter many of God's elect, both Gentile and Jewish believers. But our spirits cannot die and Jesus in us will will guard our spirits eternally. So we would rather die than forsake Him. But the devil's time on earth—as the ruler of a subject kingdom of sinners, called the world order—will end. Then he and his kingdom, all his host of fallen angels and all of his human spirits created in his image, will die a second death in hell. For, in hell, those evil spirits will never again be able to do any of his desired works, which is the very definition of death. Satan will try to resist our God Jesus, but his time on earth will be very short after the seventh trumpet sounds. There will be increasingly strong demonic activity on earth in those days before Jesus returns, but also the most powerful works of God in all history, through His elect children on earth. For, as the elect testify about Jesus, Jesus will fulfill their words of truth, and He will overcome the lies of Satan, enabling His children to walk in His just, equitable, loving ways.

During the eras of the sixth and seventh seals, God shall issue the command: “Therefore, rejoice, O heavens and you who dwell in them! But woe to you, O earth and sea, for the devil has come down to you in great wrath, because he knows that his time is short!” So, during the revival in the era of the sixth seal, God will awaken, teach and train the spirits of His elect on earth. Then every living spirit in heaven shall rejoice. But we also need to realize that Satan will also “come down” shortly after that, not from heaven, but from his throne in earth’s “sky” or atmosphere, from his spiritual state overseeing his kingdom on earth. In the era of the seventh seal, during the last seven years before Jesus returns, the spirit of that devil will reside in a human body called the beast. That beast shall become the teacher and evil messiah of his non-elect citizens in the world, and will attempt to destroy all traces of moral and spiritual truth in the world, so he can force all to live under his rule and worship only him. But, after the revival of the Father’s elect heirs and the final establishment of His true church priesthood on earth, it will be impossible for Satan to force all to worship him, even through his financial power to starve souls into submission. So the devil and his minions will murder God’s faithful ones. Yet the woes sent by God during these end times and in the days of the beast are not indicating troubles for His own people. Rather, God’s woes will be deadly plagues against the “earth and sea,” that is, in figurative ecclesiastical language, against both the elite and the common masses during that time. For God’s wrath shall fall heavily on every nation, even upon the so-called “Christian” lands. And none will be safe from His plagues, not even the rich hiding in their bunkers.

“And when the dragon saw that he had been thrown down to the earth [i.e., just after God created

the earth], he pursued the woman who had given birth to the male Child. But the woman was

given the two wings of the great eagle so that she might fly from the serpent into the

wilderness, to the place where she is to be nourished for a time, and times, and half a time.”

God’s elect, His eternal priesthood for heaven, began with Adam, Eve, Abel, Seth and the rest. And Satan’s non-elect children began with Cain, who persecuted and killed his brother Abel. So the devil began to pursue the woman, the figurative representation of God’s eternal church of Israel, in the very beginning. Then God created Seth to take Abel’s place, as His chosen priest for the generation after Adam. But Satan also created non-elect human children and caused them to contend against Seth, and against each elect descendant after that, up to the days of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. After this, God renamed Jacob, and called him Israel, so He could establish a family of priests through his twelve sons. But Satan hated this visible priesthood of God and caused his non-elect children to contend against Israel, and against their descendants, to corrupt and violently attack the church of Israel, as well as all the other inherently loving, just, equitable elect on earth. Then Satan also formed a people and a church for himself, through Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon, culminating in the kingdom of the fourth beast, the Roman Empire, existing to this day, through his own religion of humanism.

In time, God came to His church of Israel in the body of a human man named Jesus, as a “male child” born from the people of Israel, from the “woman” whom John spoke about in this Scripture (Rev. 12:13). So Satan’s primary religious kingdom of Roman minions raged against the Messiah born to Israel, and against all His priestly people, both the Jewish and Gentile elect in His New and Old Covenant branches of Israel, all God’s priests in God’s earthly kingdom. And Satan has been pursuing them ever since, from the day Jesus ascended into heaven. The devil’s most cherished people of his world order, the Roman Empire, feared and oppressed Israel, instigating the Jewish-Roman wars of the first and second centuries, resulting in Israel’s exile after AD 135. And this same persecution continues to this day, with all the corrupting lies and violence Rome can use against her.

These persecutions have been perpetuated throughout ensuing history by the former Roman secular nations and by the Roman church, as well as by the daughters of that demonic state and its false church. Rome persecuted Jews and Christians back then, and still does so today, through its religious empire, through its religion of humanism. Of all the false religions on the earth, humanism has hated and persecuted Christianity and Judaism more than any other false religion that Satan ever invented. History proves it. No pagan religion, nor any secular state ruled by the spiritual or moral laws of that false religion, has ever tried to corrupt and murder Jews and Christians as much as humanists. All the humanistic religions (such as Roman Catholicism, her humanistic daughter churches and Islam), as well as all the secular states who based their laws and traditions on Roman humanism (such as fascism, communism, capitalism, military dictatorships, and so on) have always hated, censored, corrupted and attempted to destroy pure, biblical, just, loving churches, synagogues and individuals.

But God answered, “and the two wings of a mighty eagle were given to the woman so that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, at whatever place she is being taken care of, [to remain] there apart from the presence of the serpent [until] an appointed time, and times, and half a time” (καὶ ἐδόθησαν τῇ γυναικὶ αἱ δύο πτέρυγες τοῦ ἀετοῦ τοῦ μεγάλου, ἵνα πέτηται εἰς τὴν ἔρημον εἰς τὸν τόπον αὐτῆς, ὅπου τρέφεται ἐκεῖ καιρὸν καὶ καιροὺς καὶ ἥμισυ καιροῦ ἀπὸ προσώπου τοῦ ὄφεως).

Here the adverb “there” (ἐκεῖ) modifies the previous clause, and is used to indicate the reason that Israel will flee into the wilderness and when she will return. Then the phrase, “an appointed time and times and half a time” is in the accusative case after that adverb, to indicate that the action of fleeing will continue until a period of time consisting of an appointed three and a half years (that is, καιρός suggests an appointed time and each appointed time represents a year). In other words, here John is reiterating that Israel's forced exile from their homeland in AD 135, when they fled into the Gentile nations, will last until the end of the appointed last three and a half years of the beast’s seven-year reign (i.e., until the end of the 1,260 days previously mentioned). For the beast is the embodiment of

the serpent called Satan, and he will carry out his worst persecutions of true Jews and true Christians in the last half of his seven-year reign. Then Jesus will return to destroy the beast after those seven years, thus making the land of Israel safe, so all His people of Israel can return. In the meantime, God will keep Israel alive until that appointed time, in whatever places they might be. Of course, the prophecies also say that some physical descendants of Israel will return to Israel before the days of the beast, but only about a third. Yet literally all of them will return after Jesus ends the beast’s reign.

“The serpent poured water like a river out of his mouth after the woman, to sweep her away

with a flood. But the earth came to the help of the woman, and the earth opened its mouth

and swallowed the river that the dragon had poured from his mouth.”

The “river” pouring out of the devil’s mouth figuratively refers to the hateful slander or propaganda against God’s people, which flows out like a destructive flood from the mouths of Satan’s children. The greedy and the power-hungry have always lied against the Jews, throughout history, because the Jews carry God’s laws wherever they go, and also refuse to assimilate into unjust cultures. This Law of God places a heavy “tax” burden upon the rich elite, then demands that even kings must submit to God’s equitable justice, in the same way that the common people must. Therefore, pagan kings, and especially the humanistic wanna-be gods, despise the those Jewish bearers of God’s Law, as well as any true New Covenant Gentiles, in whom and through whom God is fulfilling His Law. Since the non-elect prefer to cheat and back-stab their way into positions of power and exploitative wealth, they want to utterly nullify God’s own intended interpretations of His own Law. So they vehemently slander all who testify about those true meanings. The loveless, ruthless non-elect feel compelled to slander any witnesses of God’s truth, then try to get rid of them, and have always persecuted Israel.

But here it also prophesies that, in the future, the earth shall open its mouth to nullify the slanderous, antisemitic and anti-Christian propaganda of Satan’s beast. Actually, this has already happened many times in history, but will occur again in the end times, even after Satan’s beast arrives. Remember, the devil will always command the spirits of his children to lie about Israel and the Bible. And the greatest slanderers of the Jews and the Gentiles brought into her—such as the raging humanist, Adolf Hitler—have all been little carbon copies of the future beast. Yet, when these antisemitic and lawless dictators have tried to sweep Israel into the sea—with a flood of conniving propaganda designed to incite violent persecutions—God has always caused His elect upon the earth to open up their mouths to drain away that filthy flood, to refute those rivers of lies, to nullify all that slanderous propaganda, and to war against the slanderers. And the earth will do so again, when the beast and his biased lying kingdom tries to slander the people of Israel for the last time. That is, God will stir up the spirits of His elect to cling to the truth, and to fight for it until Satan’s children are silenced in death or chains.

This is why almost all Satanically inspired despots violently silence the loving elect, then deny, suppress or heavily censor their honest testimonies. From the beginning, both secular and theistic humanists have always prohibited freedom of speech, freedom of conscience, the right to peaceful protest, a free press and anything else that might expose their lies. For two thousand years, we have watched humanistic Roman emperors, popes and myriads of communist, fascist, capitalist, Muslim or Christian dictators oppress individuals and society to maintain their self-serving hierarchies of elite exploiters. Then humanistic religions, both so-called Christians and Muslims, have always falsely claimed that they must silence and destroy the God-sent voices of truth for God, as though those liars and murderers, who serve only their own selfish interests, are God’s gods ruling Him.

All these humanists maintain their hold over the people by preventing truths and created realities from exposing and burning away their carnal lies. They all pretend to be gods, while suppressing

God-given rights which all others should receive as equal sinners, to whom God has granted equal freedom through His unmerited grace. Humanistic dictators always insist that they must control every aspect of all the lives of all other people “for their own good,” while they themselves can do whatever crimes they desire with total impunity. They insist that their oppressive will must be known and obeyed, to maintain their kinds of warring “peace” and chaotic “order” in their lands. Yet these humanists are always trying to usurp the truly peaceful, orderly, loving, just and equitable reign of the real God, so they can be human gods worshipped (esteemed and served) by the people. But, even in ancient times, before writing and recorded history, God made His commands for justice evident in His natural creations, revealing what is evil and what is good in all He made. God even revealed His own attributes of love there, then expected His elect to emulate Him, since He created their spirits in His image. Therefore, there is no reason to heed the lies and delusions taught by Satan’s non-elect.

We must not forget how some real truths began to infiltrate the devil’s world order through God’s priesthood of Israel in the Old Covenant times. Then more irreversible truths escaped into the lands of enslaved sinners through Jesus and His apostles. This process of disseminating realities required to build abundant, just and loving lives was very slow at first. But, over the centuries, the rate of its broadcasting and acceptance has increased, and God is now spreading His truths at a furious pace, while Satan’s kingdom has responded by casting out his lies and delusions more rapidly as well. And, along with this information battle, more physical warfare has errupted everywhere on earth.

The recent increase of exposed truths seems to have begun with the Protestant Reformation and its demand for Christian democracies. At that time, the biblical idea of freedom of conscience was born again in the churches, through Baptist preachers in the 16th century, for the first time since the apostolic church taught this doctrine. Those Christians also insisted upon recognizing the priesthood of all believers, as participating priests in the church body, where all men remained under the sole headship of our God Jesus alone. Then believers would only bear the right to expel the unrepentant sinners from their local churches, and not exact corporeal punishments, nor judge outsiders, no one who was not a contributing member of their local church (I Cor. 5:12). No church could bear the “sword” of justice and administer capital punishment, since God’s Word only allowed secular authorities to do so, and only for the “good” of the people, not solely for the elite (Rom. 13:4). And that “good” for the people could not possibly involve judging according to religious traditions, since God demanded freedom of conscience, to prevent forced and hypocritical religious intolerance.

About 500 years ago, churches not only began to discover what true churches should be like, and began to reject the fake humanistic churches which killed off the true apostolic church, but they also began to understand what a true, God-endorsed, secular government should be, and how God also owns all lands and all people on earth, how all people are siblings in the family of humankind. God called governments bear the “sword” for the enforcement of His natural laws alone, such as laws against murder, rape and theft. And this is why God demanded the separation of church and state in the laws He gave to Moses, which our God Jesus came to fulfill in and through His awakened elect.

God’s Law taught that government must do what was “good” for all, including what was good for the pagans in His lands. Authorities must serve all, not just themselves, and they certainly must not serve only a few corrupt religious elite who bow down before them. Finally, all authorities in all truly God-fearing governments must be chosen by the people themselves, according to the methods God prescribed in His Law, which Jesus fulfills in and through His people. That is, all true believers and all the rest of the people in the land were to elect or choose their authorities from those whom God had chosen (Deut. 17:15). And those whom God had chosen would be made evident by their good, just, equitable, wise and loving fruits born through their own personal, family and societal

works (Mat. 7:19-20). If any land did not do this, God would do to them what He did to Israel, after He told the people: “Israel has cast off that which is good.The enemy will pursue him. They have set up kings, but not by me.They have made princes, and I didn’t approve. Of their silver and their gold they have made themselves idols, that they may be cut off” (Hosea 8:3-4, WEB). Because God has taken the time to come to the world in a body of flesh, and has spent the last 2,000 years revealing His ways to the entire population living on His creation of the earth, He will soon judge the lands which do not establish just, equitable loving democracies where all their rulers are His true servants.

God’s Law never allowed authorities to exalt themselves over their brothers in the family of humankind. Rather, God cast all vain, self-serving rulers into deeper and deeper delusions until they either repented or destroyed themselves. Then God also destroyed all the people who enabled those wicked rulers to maintain their illicit authority as well. And God does the same to this day, with increasing intensity. Then, during the appointed end times, God will complete His wrath upon them, especially upon the humanistic wanna-be gods in steep hierarchical governments, and in humanistic churches and religions which ride on the backs of those illicit governments, who are defended by those self-serving exploiters. We must never forget the principle that all decision-making laborers are required to become the “servants of all” (Mark 9:35). Now, of course, since most churches are still humanistic, and refuse to place their faith in God and His words alone, these principles have been slow to develop, and even have been opposed by most churches, because most churches are fake churches who place all their faith in human gods, never in the real Creator. Yet these truths have indeed been growing in the hearts of the true elect in the world, and cannot be silenced by anyone.

True Christians proclaim these truths, then expose the lies of fake Christians or secular deceivers, and strive to revive these freedoms and rights, in the name of our God Jesus, that is, according to His will, authority and power. And this is how and why these freedoms have now been incorporated into some of our lands, why we have some Christian democracies. It is because the power of our loving, just and almighty God defends His truths, and grants these freedoms to lands where a remnant of His elect remain faithful. Remember, in all history, only biblical Protestants were able to find a way to provide a true freedom of speech and a freedom of conscience for the people—because, at the same time, God empowered them, but also protected all His people from slander and propaganda, from all the kinds of lies which humanists used to promote blind hatred and injustice. No one else has ever been able to form true democracies, because it is only possible in Christ, through the rule of His Spirit and through His fulfilled Law which teaches us the created and unalterable ways of genuine God-like love. And His truths have also brought us the freedom of the press, the right to publish a sound defence of truth against lies, the right to reveal suppressed truths and to bring transparency to the decisions of all serving authorities, to humble whomever or whatever adversely and unjustly inflicts the people. And, because this freedom does not allow humanists to publish hatred and lies without strong rebuttals, nor without legal consequences for slander and the incitement of violence, the truth will eventually overcome all lies. It is only when these freedoms are prohibited that the delusions and lies of the humanists can maintain a hold over the people, even over God’s true elect.

Biblical Protestants, especially Baptists, preached the biblical concepts behind these freedoms and rights publicly, and demanded that their authorities must grant them to the people. For they obeyed the words of our God Jesus, when He commanded: “So have no fear of them [in context, ‘them’ refers to maligners, persecutors, liars and deluders, including false religious leaders and illicit secular authorities] , for nothing is covered that will not be revealed, or hidden that will not be known. What I tell you in the dark, say in the light, and what you hear whispered, proclaim on the housetops. And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather fear Him who can destroy both soul and body in hell” (Mat.

10:26-28, ESV). But humanists worship men, by esteeming and serving them, by placing more faith in them and in their words than they do in the works and teachings of their Creator. Now we need to be more like the prophets and apostles, even more brave and faithful to God’s truth than the biblical Reformers, because the end times are drawing near. Now we must trust our God Jesus to serve as the only Head of all men, and refuse to exalt nor elect any sinful, lying human beings. “For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who by their unrighteousness suppress the truth” (Rom. 1:18, ESV), even far more powerfully than ever before.

From the very beginning, honest and loving souls have longingly and secretly whispered truths about God’s freedoms and rights. But psychopathic conquerers enslaved them. Then, after Rome rose to power, humanistic churches and governments prevented the people from receiving these freedoms and rights. But God preserved His words and they gradually found the ears of the elect. And God later sped up this process, to prepare the world for the end times. For instance, in 1517, Martin Luther openly opposed some of the humanistic doctrines of the Roman church and published his reasons for doing so, although he was basically a humanist himself. Naturally, that false church and the secular authorities tied to it, then attempted to murder Luther, because they knew his words were true, and that they would lose their income and power if that truth escaped into their lands. Those theistic and secular humanists tried to burn all Luther’s books and suppress his words in every way possible. However, a few other secular and church authorities defended Luther and his truth. So you could say that God caused the earth to open its mouth and swallow Satan’s flood, to prevent it from drowning Luther and washing away the truths God gave to his spirit. Then those truths prospered.

Of course, Luther was just another common sinner like all the rest of the elect, and still very much caught up in the lies of humanism. So his help from God was not because Luther was so perfect, holy and righteous. God’s help was granted through God’s grace alone. And, after God did this for Luther, many others also began to speak out loud about the biblical truths which exposed corrupt and wicked church leaders and secular authorities. With this openness came a realization of the great need for everyone’s freedom of conscience, freedom of speech and freedom of the press. Clearly, the people must be able to openly demand accountability from all levels of all authorities in their lands.

This voice grew louder each year, particularly in English-speaking nations. By 1614, Leonard Busher, a Baptist, grew bold enough to write a small book about the necessity for the freedom of conscience, and even sent that book to his power-hungry and immoral king, to James I of England. Busher’s book was not well-received by either the king or the church, since both were all humanists. Yet its ideas were frequently repeated and discussed in the English-speaking nations and throughout the world, especially by Protestants. Eventually these concepts spread to Roman Catholic nations too, since many Catholics are also God’s elect, but temporarily deceived. And even the elect Roman Catholics were growing weary of the injustices done to them through their humanistic oppressors in the name of God, to supposedly “preserve order” and “prevent chaos.” Soon even many secular scholars began to question the old humanistic belief that the elite must keep the masses ignorant, so they can more effectively control (and exploit) them. Even some selfish, godless secular humanists actually embraced these biblical concepts of freedom, though they had only been espoused by the committed Christians before that time. By the end of the 18th century, due to biblical Christianity’s war against oppressive humanistic political and economic systems, some nations were actually becoming free and democratic. And that process has only accelerated during the last two centuries.

By our day, we have seen the people of many nations open their mouths to swallow the rivers of lying propaganda pouring out of the mouths of humanists like Hitler’s Nazis, Trump’s loyal fascists, and other exploitative, oppressing humanists of that ilk. It was God’s truths that condemned all those

vile humanists for their unjust words and deeds, including the persecution of Jews. In Jesus, we must make a stand for biblical principles like the freedom of conscience and the freedom of speech, so we might effectively oppose Satan’s beast when he strives to eradicate all the elect Jews and Christians in the entire world through his ruthless persecutions, which he will incite with deceiving propaganda.

“Then the dragon became furious with the woman [i.e., with Israel] and went off to make war

on the rest of her offspring , on those who keep the commandments of God and hold to the

testimony of Jesus.”

Here (in Rev. 12:17), those whom John called “the rest of her offspring” are the truly elect Gentiles, most of whom Jesus will join to His priesthood of Israel after the sixth seal’s revival, when He shall also make some of elect Gentile men into His chosen elders of His churches, to teach and judge the people according to His fulfilled Law. So the New Covenant priesthood of Jesus will soon consist of elect Jews from all 12 tribes of Israel as well as countless elect Gentiles, not merely the seed of Levi’s flesh. This prophecy describes these elect Gentiles as “the ones continuously guarding the authoritative words from God and possessing the testimony from Jesus” (τῶν τηρούντων τὰς ἐντολὰς τοῦ θεοῦ καὶ ἐχόντων τὴν μαρτυρίαν Ἰησοῦ). The ESV translates the first phrase as “those who keep the commandments of God,” and others translate it in a similar way. However, the Greek verb τηρέω, in context, refers to the guarding of God’s precious truths in one’s heart. Then ἐντολή refers to the authoritative words or concepts from God. All this is something far more spiritual than supposedly keeping or obeying the Old Covenant “commandments” through one’s own will of flesh.

The New Covenant’s ecclesiastical meaning of ἐντολή includes the goals that God is determined to achieve in and through His elect children, through His teaching and training of their spirits. This is indicated by all His written teachings and by all that is implied through His creations and His actions throughout history. When God’s 613 laws of the Old Covenant are rightly handled, they can all be summarized by only two of His commands: (1) “Love God” and (2) “Love those whom God places near you, in your life.” All God’s awakened elect inwardly guard these two commandments and, as a result, also guard the fulfilled and rightly handled meanings of all 613 commandments in the Old Covenant Law. The only reason these elect in Jesus carefully study and guard His New Covenant laws is because these teachings from His Holy Spirit harmonize, explain, justify and wisely apply all of God’s 613 Old Covenant laws. The awakened elect all strive to learn how to justly and wisely love in all circumstances, with right priorities. Jesus teaches elect spirits to truly love in the same just, honest, truthful, God-like way that He has always been trying to teach to His church of Israel.

By doing this, God brings elect Gentiles into His church of Israel, for He created their elect spirits to be “the rest of” Israel’s offspring. Here, John prophesied about a time when elect Gentiles will be joined together with elect Jews, since both will be persecuted by Satan and his beast, and both will need to support one another in those days. Of course, there will be great persecution of Jews and Christians during the era of the fifth seal as well, in the era we are now experiencing. But the era of the fifth seal cannot be the time John refers to here, since this persecution occurs during the time of the seventh trumpet, well after the era of the seventh seal has begun. This particular persecution, which occurs after Christ’s New Covenant church is revived and becomes faithful to God in the era of the sixth seal, will be a much more localized and overtly secular persecution by the beast, after the church becomes faithful and starts to inwardly guard God’s authoritative words, after the sixth seal’s revival. For this statement is found where the narrative starts to talk about the time of the seventh trumpet and the beast once more. So here John clearly and necessarily refers to the persecution that will occur during the last half of the beast's reign, and God will make us ready for His return to us.

Now, since this twelfth chapter of the Revelation was intended to provide an informative preparatory overview of the greatest spiritual conflicts in history, it described the Messiah’s first advent, when God ratified His New Covenant salvation. This, and everything else in this chapter, leads to the climax of the Messiah’s second advent, which will occur after the beast’s reign in the days of the seventh trumpet. Therefore, we must keep this second advent in mind as we interpret this chapter. In John’s 12th chapter overview, we find a brief account of the birth of Christ (in 6 BC) by a woman representing Israel. Then she fled into the wilderness shortly after giving birth. This was the exile of Israel from their land (in AD 135), which will eventually cause the Roman beast's destruction, since the first advent of the Messiah Jesus shall continuously contribute to the beast’s end through His priesthood of Israel (e.g., the Messiah’s kingdom grows throughout the earth to crush the fourth Roman kingdom in Dan. 2:44-45). “For this the Son of God was manifested, so that He might undo the works of the devil” (I John 3:8b, εἰς τοῦτο ἐφανερώθη ὁ υἱὸς τοῦ θεοῦ ἵνα λύσῃ τὰ ἔργα τοῦ διαβόλου). And all the elect on earth either consciously or unconsciously partake in this work of our God Jesus as well, to undo the unjust works of the devil, and the works of Satan’s messiah, the beast.

Awakened elect spirits realize that their works in Christ are to build up the Creator’s loving and just kingdom on earth, which also involves tearing down Satan’s works, then striving to heal those hurt by the devil’s lies and sins, to right those wrongs, to rebuilt the good that Satan’s minions destroyed, and to provide recompense for the losses incurred by humanistic plundering. But even the sleeping elect unconsciously partake in this building up of God’s kingdom on earth, through their own works of spontaneous God-like love, which is always built upon truth. For God created literally all elect spirits with an inherent propensity to love in the same just way He loves. So those hidden elect, who do not yet know that they belong to the family priesthood of God’s church, end up aiding the works of God’s true church instinctively, to build up God’s kingdom, or else to nullify Satan’s lies and sins.

This twelfth chapter reminds us that Satan has warred against God from the beginning, that Satan and his demons were cast down upon the earth, that Satan continuously accuses God's children night and day, that the heavenly Father’s infantile elect children need saving from the persecutions of Satan’s world order, and that the blood of the sacrificial Lamb, with His words of testimony through His people of Israel, will soon overcome Satan. God caused John to insert this chapter to warn us that Satan is filled with great wrath against all true Jews and all true Christians, all God's elect. Then this narrative also tells us how the scattering of Israel, at a time shortly after Israel had given “birth” to the Messiah, shall serve a good purpose in the very end, when seen in the light of the whole history of the world, from the earth's beginning to the end of earthly time. For Israel was sent to “a place prepared by God.” Therefore, God did not reject Israel, when He caused her to flee into the wilderness. Rather, God’s earth would take care of Israel during her exile, to sustain her, to keep her spiritually and physically alive. That long exile was necessary, to prevent her complete corruption, until the days of the end times, so Israel would once again worship God rightly when Jesus returns.

In AD 135, during the era of the first seal, we saw the first and only time that almost the entire population of Israel was expelled from their land and dispersed among the Gentile nations, without nothing but an insignificant remnant left in the land around Jerusalem. For, in both the Assyrian and Babylonian exiles, about a third were left in the land. The Roman exile was the only time in history when Jacob’s descendants could no longer call themselves citizens of their own homeland. From AD 135 until 1967, God’s Old Covenant branch of Israel could not freely walk upon the temple mount, where God promised to manifest His presence until the earth ends. Then land of Israel became a pagan property, owned by the beast’s Roman Empire, then by Roman factions of humanism, for more than 1800 years. Although a few Jews always remained in Israel’s borders, none could own

land in God’s name, only in pagan names. Even today, Israel cannot publicly pray on Mount Zion, but can secretly and inwardly pray, from their spirits. God wants this, since it is the purest kind of prayer, and cannot be used for hypocritical displays of piety by any deceiving humanistic pretenders.

The woman fleeing into the wilderness, away from Satan, clearly represented Israel’s exile. And Israel was not to allowed to return to her land for a very long time. Now about a third have returned, but two thirds still reside in the wilderness of Gentile lands, and will not dwell in their homeland until Jesus destroys the Roman beast. But this was necessary. For, while Israel could no longer be identified with her homeland, and her people were not seen as citizens of the nation God eternally gave to her, her enemies could not easily conquer her. For, after being scattered, she walked among other nationalities, adopted their languages, married their daughters, lived in similar houses, wore almost the same clothing and shopped in the same marketplaces. So it became almost impossible for any of the beast’s armies to invade and annihilate the borderless Jews hiding in every land on earth.

Many factions of Roman humanism, the beast’s armies, sought to exterminate God’s one and only church of Israel, by murdering the Jews and by trying to replace her with their own fake churches. Ancient Rome, Roman Catholics, Muslims, Communists, Fascists and many other sects of Roman humanism all tried. But they could only reach some Jews in their own lands, and could not murder the Jews in every distant corner of the world. So the earth swallowed the lying propaganda from those factions of the beast’s kingdom, and God preserved His church of Israel, according to His infallible promises to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. Nor did God ever allow Israel to fully assimilate with the Gentiles in their hiding places either, for her values could not help but differ from the unjust spiritual values taught by Satan to his pagan lands. Even the Old Covenant law, which some Jews kept only because God hardened their hearts against the New Covenant’s fulfilled law (Rom. 11:25), served to keep the Jews separated and sanctified unto God. For instance, her dietary laws and feasts alone prevented her from being entirely absorbed and assimilated into Gentile peoples. Yes, through intermarriage, superficial attributes of the flesh changed, such as skin colour. And God people of Israel dressed their flesh differently over time as well, so they might walk undetected among the Gentiles. For God’s original and ultimate purpose for creating Israel, through Abraham, was to bless all the lands of all the earth through them. They were to be His priests, representing Him and His ways to literally all nations, and representing all nations to God (Gen. 18:18; 22:18; 26:4). As a result, through this scattering, God’s Israel was actually becoming just what He intended them to be.

Some prophecies that God gave through Moses in the 15th century BC were also about the last days. And they too warned about this catastrophic Roman exile of Israel. So this was not something that happened by accident. It was predestined by God for a purpose. But Moses was not nearly so kind when he told Israel how they would be expelled from their land. For Moses prophesied that God would do this because of their great sins. Still, this does not nullify the fact that God’s purpose was to scatter Israel for their own good, and for the good of the whole world. On the one hand, God knew it was best for Israel to leave their land, to flee Satan and his beast. On the other hand, God also cast out Israel because she sinned. And God even handed them over to sin for a purpose, in order to deeply humble their infantile elect spirits, as well as to cause their expulsion from their land, both at the same time. We must realize that we cannot think that God is limited to serving only one purpose at a time. In reality, literally all God’s deeds work for multiple good purposes, all at the same time.

When Israel took the spiritual law of God and turned it into a quagmire of petty physical rules and traditions of men—instead of practising just, God-like love from the spirit in the heart—God threw them out of His land. Nevertheless, the loving and just God—who guards the whole of a man's eternal existence, and not just his short life on earth—forever established His eternal Abrahamic and

New Covenants with Israel, and with His one and only eternal church of Israel alone, in a completely irrevocable and unconditional way. So God could never break His formal promises to Israel, nor forget His elect children of Israel. His covenants promised that He would personally transform Israel into His people, make them like Him. He promised to serve them as their God and cause them to worship Him, through their esteem and their service as His priests, so Israel might bring justice and truth into the dark world order ruled by the prince of the air, called Satan. And our almighty and wise God will cause His elect among the Old Covenant branch of Israel to serve Him as His priests, as witnesses of His words and works, as His labourers with His power to correct and make all right.

Yes, the physical descendants of Jacob rejected God’s covenants, laws and ways, substituting unjust and foolish traditions of men for all of these. They even substituted many humanistic doctrines of God’s worst enemy, the humanistic beast, for God’s laws, so they could worship human beings, and themselves in particular. Thus, the Jews bore a harvest of death and corruption. They became a sister to the Roman false church called the Great Prostitute. And this is why God struck Israel so hard and scattered them. But God’s wrath against Israel is always temporary, and God judges each generation of Israel, and each individual in Israel, separately, by the motives of the spirit. Therefore God did not permanently condemn all Israel’s future generations. Also, their scattering was for their own good. If they remained in their land, Rome would have transformed them into just another corrupt humanistic nation, since they were already becoming that in the days of Jesus’ first advent, in the first century.

This is Moses' prophecy about the destruction, expulsion and scattering of Israel among the nations. And this prophecy can only refer to Rome’s forced deportation of Israel during the second century:

Deuteronomy 28:1,9-10,15,36-37,47-52,62-65 (WEB): “It shall happen, if you shall listen

diligently to Yahweh your God’s voice, to observe to do all His commandments which I

command you this day, that Yahweh your God will set you high above all the nations of the

earth.... Yahweh will establish you for a holy people to Himself, as He has sworn to you, if

you shall keep the commandments of Yahweh your God, and walk in His ways. All the

peoples of the earth shall see that you are called by Yahweh’s name, and they will be afraid of

you.... But it shall come to pass, if you will not listen to Yahweh your God’s voice, to

observe to do all His commandments and His statutes which I command you this day, that all

these curses will come on you, and overtake you.... Yahweh will bring you, and your king

whom you will set over yourselves, to a nation that you have not known, you nor your

fathers. There you will serve other gods of wood and stone. You will become an

astonishment, a proverb, and a byword among all the peoples where Yahweh will lead you

away.... Because you didn’t serve Yahweh your God with joyfulness, and with gladness of

heart, by reason of the abundance of all things; therefore you will serve your enemies whom

Yahweh sends against you, in hunger, in thirst, in nakedness, and in lack of all things. He will

put an iron yoke on your neck, until he has destroyed you. Yahweh will bring a nation against

you from far, from the end of the earth, as the eagle flies; a nation whose language you will

not understand; a nation of fierce facial expressions, that doesn’t respect the elderly, nor

show favor to the young, and they will eat the fruit of your livestock, and the fruit of your

ground, until you are destroyed. They also won’t leave you grain, new wine, or oil, the

increase of your livestock, or the young of your flock, until they have caused you to perish.

They will besiege you in all your gates, until your high and fortified walls come down, in

which you trusted, throughout all your land. They will besiege you in all your gates

throughout all your land, which Yahweh your God has given you.... You will be left few in

number, even though you were as the stars of the sky for multitude; because you didn’t listen

to Yahweh your God’s voice. It will happen that as Yahweh rejoiced over you to do you good,

and to multiply you, so Yahweh will rejoice over you to cause you to perish, and to destroy

you. You will be plucked from off of the land where you go in to possess it. Yahweh will

scatter you among all peoples, from one end of the earth to the other end of the earth. There

you will serve other gods, which you have not known, you nor your fathers, even wood and

stone. Among these nations you will find no ease, and there will be no rest for the sole of

your foot; but Yahweh will give you there a trembling heart, failing of eyes, and pining of

soul.”

God cursed Israel because their spirits forgot Him and did not serve Him when He previously made them prosperous, because they “didn’t serve Yahweh [their] God with joyfulness, and with gladness of heart.” For this reason, God said He would bring a nation against them. And this ruthless nation, in the days of Moses, was to from far away, “from the end of the earth, as the eagle flies; a nation whose language you will not understand.” It was this far-off, unknown land that would “besiege [Israel] in all [her] gates, until [her] high and fortified walls come down.” Of course, both Assyria and Babylon did this to Israel, but Moses and Israel knew both of those Chaldean nations back then, and their language. The Jewish language actually originated from the regions occupied by Assyria and Babylon. Thus, this prophecy must be referring to some other nation. And the only other nation this prophecy could possibly refer to is the beast’s Roman Empire, when they besieged every town in Israel by AD 135, and starved the Jewish people, taking everything from them, then only “left few in number” in their land, far less than the third of their population that Assyria and Babylon left there.

Also, when Moses gave this prophecy, Israel was not yet “as numerous as the stars of heaven.” The whole of their previous generation had died in the wilderness by this time, and it is likely that they were not even half as many as they were when they left Egypt. So Moses was not speaking about Israel being threatened by Egypt in that generation’s lifetime. Rather, Moses was prophesying about a future time, long after they had settled into “the land, where you go in to possess it” (v. 21). For, in Roman times, before the expulsion of Israel, there were about four million Jews in the world. Of course, only about 700,000 lived in Judea, and about the same number near there, but still within the traditional boundaries of Israel. So about a third of the Jews lived in the biblically defined land of Israel, while two thirds lived in the diaspora, outside of Israel. Nevertheless, the diaspora considered Israel to be their homeland, and strove to visit Jerusalem periodically, especially during the times of the high holy days and the feasts. So Israel was “as numerous as the stars of heaven” during that time. (By the way, some estimate there are only about 9,096 stars, plus some galaxies, visible from both hemispheres of the earth, if you have good eyesight and are observing them far from city lights.

Moses also told Israel: “You will be plucked from off of the land where you go in to possess it. Yahweh will scatter you among all peoples, from one end of the earth to the other end of the earth.” And Moses prophesied this before Israel entered their promised land. So this prophesy states that this exile of Israel would take place after they took possession of that land. But it cannot be speaking about the her destruction and exile which God brought upon Israel and Judah through the Assyrians and Babylonians. For the extent of Israel’s exile by the Assyrians and Babylonians was not nearly as great, nor as long-lasting, as it was by the Roman Empire. Also, both the Assyrians and Babylonians left a sizable remnant of Jews in the land of Israel, even in Jerusalem, at the heart of Israel. During those captivities, Israel still had a homeland. But here Moses states that there will be a far more total and complete removal of Israel from their land, so they will not have a homeland. Also, this prophecy emphasized that God would “scatter [Israel] among all peoples,” by adding the redundant phrase, “from one end of the earth to the other end of the earth.” And this extent of their scattering

did not occur until modern Roman times, after Roman humanism had spread out into literally all the earth. This is what the Romans did to Israel, not what Assyria and Babylon did to them. So here Moses must be prophesying about the Roman deportation of Israel in AD 135, and their continual persecution which sent them fleeing throughout the entire earth. And this began after Israel had become extremely disobedient to God’s voice, after they adopted the humanistic religion of the demonically possessed beast. And, since they never repented, they remained in exile ever since then.

The Assyrian and Babylonian captivities scattered Israel, but primarily within the Assyrian and Babylonian borders. Israel did not become scattered among all nations until long after their Roman captivity began. It took many centuries of severe persecutions for the Jews to reach places at the ends of the earth, such North and South America. So surely Moses was speaking about the Romans scattering Israel, not about the Assyrians or Babylonians. And, in all these places, Israel served other gods of wood and stone, which neither they nor their fathers had known. For they worshipped human gods and statues of human gods. Btu the great apostasy and secularization of a most Jews did not occur until the 19th and 20th centuries, after the Napoleonic wars. And remember, this corruption of Israel by Roman humanism did indeed occur during their Roman exile, since the power of Rome still exists, and Rome’s humanistic sects are still persecuting and scattering the Jews. Thus, among all the nations of the world, which are all humanistic in our day, Israel has found no respite, and no resting place, only “a trembling heart and failing eyes and a languishing soul.” This prophecy through Moses has actually been a perfect description of Israel’s Roman exile throughout the last 1800 years.

After Rome deported Israel, the Jews also did worship “other gods of wood and stone,” just as Moses prophesied. In his language of the 15th century BC, the phrase “gods of wood and stone” would refer to “all kinds of gods,” any and every type of god. The “wood” idols, made from an organic substance, and the “stone” idols, made from an inorganic substance, might imply invented gods with elements of good and life versus gods with elements of evil and death. And, in those days, these handmade gods supposedly spoke to their makers. Therefore, these false man-made gods were actually humans speaking to themselves, but as authoritative gods. Then, beginning in the days of Babylon, the devil simply completed this process and developed the religion of humanism, where humans directly worshipped humans, primarily themselves, but also other supposedly “great” humans as well. Of course, even after Satan completed this invention of humanism in Roman times, he still had to us his invention of money to enslave and oppress the sinners whom God handed over to him. And he also still loved the death and destruction of war, along with the unjust delusions of power in his hierarchical systems. Thus, Satan also allows his ultimate religion of humanism to include the worship of those gods too, that is, the high esteem and loyal service to money, war and power. But all religions involving idolatry, the worship of false gods, would be included in Moses’ description of how Israel would worship “other gods of wood and stone.” And, since the days of ancient Rome and the first advent of Jesus, the Jews have indeed worshipped human beings as theistic humanists, as well as money, war and power. They have been just as idolatrous as the secular Romans in the hierarchies of Satan’s world order, and have practised the same oppressive traditions.

Since Moses prophesied that Israel would worship any and every kind of false god, this would include the Israel’s worship (i.e., the esteem and serving) of men as their gods, which is the religion of humanism. And, with their overt adherence to their revered rabbis and the human teachings of the Talmud, it is blatantly obvious that the Jews worship humans, and stubbornly refuse to worship the real Creator God, Yahweh. In fact, they even refuse to mention Yahweh’s given name, although all the prophets did, then delude themselves into thinking they are even more devout and holy because they commit this sin. Thus, their spirits never personally commune with the Holy Spirit of Yahweh,
