Chapter 4: “And the Angel who talked with me came again and woke me, like a man who is

awakened out of his sleep. And He said to me, ‘What do you see?’ I said, ‘I see, and behold, a

lampstand all of gold, with a bowl on the top of it, and seven lamps on it, with seven lips on

each of the lamps that are on the top of it. And there are two olive trees by it, one on the right

of the bowl and the other on its left.’ And I said to the Angel who talked with me, ‘What are

these, my Lord?’ Then the Angel who talked with me answered and said to me, ‘Do you not

know what these are?’ I said, ‘No, my Lord.’ Then He said to me, ‘This is the word of

[Yahweh] to Zerubbabel [Zerubbabel was the appointed governor of Judah.]: Not by might, nor by

power, but by My Spirit , says [Yahweh] of hosts. Who are you, O great mountain? Before

Zerubbabel you shall become a plain. And he shall bring forward the top stone amid shouts

of “Grace, grace to it!”’

“Then the word of [Yahweh] came to me, saying, ‘The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the

foundation of this house; his hands shall also complete it. Then you will know that [Yahweh]

of hosts has sent me to you. For whoever has despised the day of small things shall

rejoice , and shall see the plumb line in the hand of Zerubbabel. These seven are the eyes of

[Yahweh], which range through the whole earth.’

“Then I said to Him, ‘What are these two olive trees on the right and the left of the

lampstand?’ And a second time I answered and said to Him, ‘What are these two branches of

the olive trees, which are beside the two golden pipes from which the golden oil is poured

out?’ He said to me, ‘Do you not know what these are?’ I said, ‘No, my Lord.’ Then he said,

‘These are the two anointed ones who stand by the Lord of the whole earth.’”

Here God showed a vision to an ordinary man named Zechariah. And Zechariah saw two other ordinary men with filthy spiritual garments, two other sinners striving to rebuild a small temple in Jerusalem. For they needed to build this temple, with God’s presence in it, to provide hope and a sense of direction for their sinful people of Israel. One of those two sinners was Joshua, the high priest, and the other was Zerubbabel, the governor in charge of administering the people and the building project. But their enemies were trying to stop them and a “mountain” of problems lay before them. And now Satan was standing before Joshua, accusing him of his many shameful sins and failures. But an Angel of Yahweh also came to stand beside Joshua, to justify and save him.

The word “angel” means “messenger” and this “Angel of Yahweh” must have been Jesus, our God, coming to reveal a message from Himself. For, when this Angel spoke, Zechariah wrote, “And Yahweh said to Satan ...” (3:2). So Zechariah referred to this Angel by calling Him “Yahweh,” and the prophets only used that name with reference to the one Creator God. Then this Angel went on to

command those standing before Him, who seem to have been other angels, to remove the filthy garments from Joshua and put clean garments on him (vv. 4-5). Yet these obviously were not physically filthy, but the inward “garments” of the spirit, revealing that Joshua was spiritually soiled by lies, sins and failing to do God’s works, because this is why Satan was accusing him. And humans possess no power nor ability to remove filth from the spirit. Only God bears that kind of authority.

But what really showed the ultimate authority of this Angel is how He first claimed, “Thus says Yahweh of hosts,” yet then went on to say, “If you will walk in My ways and keep My charge, then you shall rule My house and have charge of My courts, and I will give you the right of access among those who are standing here” (3:7, ESV). Now some would think this Angel was merely quoting Yahweh speaking in first person, as the prophets often did. But, in the context of Zechariah calling this Angel by the name of “Yahweh,” this Angel was actually calling God’s ways His ways, God’s charge or duty His charge, God’s “house” or temple His temple, and God’s courts His courts. For this Angel was commanding this high priest to walk in His ways and guard His charge. And, if Joshua did this, then this Angel would allow Joshua to judge in His temple and give His courts to Joshua, as well as the right to walk among those standing beside Him. And, as mentioned, those standing beside this Angel were likely heavenly angels. So this Angel held all of God’s authority!

Most angels do not teach, but are simply messengers who repeat a command or prophecy of God, or do His works. Yet, significantly, this Angel said He would personally take away the iniquity of Joshua (v. 4) and the entire nation of Israel. This Angel declared, “I will remove the iniquity of this land in a single day” (v. 9b), which none but God Himself bears the authority and power to do for anyone on earth or in heaven, yet is exactly what Jesus did on the cross. And all Israel will then receive that cleansing on a single day as well, on the day Jesus returns to Israel, when all the Jews will repent into His truth and salvation. Then, “in that day,” every surviving elect soul in Israel and in the whole world “will invite his neighbor to come under his vine and under his fig tree,” to rejoice in warm fellowship, without regard for boundaries of personally guarded possessions and property.

Some humans delude themselves into thinking that a magic Roman-like sacrament or prayer can automatically free them from their lies, sins and failures to do God’s will, or else imagine that the deeds of men can coerce God into forgiving them and restoring His relationship with them. Yet no elect angel in heaven was ever granted that kind of personal authority and power, nor any other created being in heaven or on earth. Only God ever had or ever will have the kind of authority and power to truly remove guilt. Only the Creator God, who owns everything and everyone that anyone can possibly sin against, bears the personal authority to forgive sins. Yes, humans can forsake their feelings of bitterness against those who lie and sin, so they can move on with their lives of loving and being loved. But forgiveness is far more than passing over the feelings of anger in the mind of flesh. Forgiveness is a cleansing from lies and sins through the sinner’s repentance into the truth, accompanied by the assurance of God that the sinner will be taught and trained enough to become truly just and loving. And our infallible God’s own assurance of one’s true future righteousness is the only genuine justification for forgiveness. God Himself must promise to wash and cleanse a sinner. And justification must also be granted together with the price paid for a sinner’s iniquities. For Satan has the right to own all sinners. So God must pay for those legal demands, and buy back the sinner from Satan with the price of sin, which is separation from God’s kingdom, called “death.” Then God must also promise to restore all losses and deaths from sins, which He will do in heaven. Only these works of God can restore an ongoing relationship between God and a sinner, for a sinner’s salvation.

So this is “Angel of Yahweh” is Yahweh, and came to talk with Zechariah, the priest, and with Joshua, the high priest. He is our Lord Jesus, the Messiah. Then Satan also stood at Joshua’s “right

hand to accuse him” (3:1), and Satan is called “the Accuser” for a good reason. For, if anyone can lay out all the details and causes of sin, it is that devil. Satan points to every thought and motive, then exposes every bad intention, without ever mentioning that he was the one who put those evil thoughts into the sinner’s mind, and without consideration for any good motives or right intentions the sinner may initially have had, and never accounts for a sinner’s will to repent into the truth. Satan just boldly insists: “This one sinned and must be handed over to me as my slave for my kingdom.”

But notice that this Angel of the Lord was also bold, and powerful enough to proclaim: “Yahweh rebuke you, O Satan! Yahweh who has chosen Jerusalem rebuke you! Is not this a brand plucked from the fire?” No infantile, weak human spirit could speak this way to Satan, nor to any demon for that matter. Nor could any ordinary elect angel. But this Angel could and did speak with this kind of authority, not in Yahweh’s name, but with the command for the Spirit of our God Yahweh in Him to “rebuke” that devil, to silence Satan. And this Angel insisted that God chose Jerusalem, that is, as the place where His temple would be built. So Satan must not interfere with the building of that temple.

Yes, Joshua was an unworthy sinner, justly condemned by Satan, like literally all human beings. But Yahweh chose Joshua to be the first high priest that would teach and judge the people of God’s national priesthood of Israel during the second temple period. God elected Joshua for this position even before His temple was actually built. And, from the beginning of time, God chose Jerusalem as the place where His presence would reside for the spiritual enlightenment and inner education of all the earth, through His international priesthood of Israel. So God Himself was now redeeming both Joshua and Jerusalem, as though both were a burning stick rescued from a fire. Both seemed to be worthless. But God had plans for them, extending deep into the future, up to the end times, when God would come in a body of flesh to be their eternal and one true High Priest, even the King over all the earth. Therefore, this Angel judged Satan, rebuked him for attempting to discourage Joshua from building the second temple, to replace the first temple that Babylon had previously destroyed.

What is more astonishing is that this Angel, our Lord Jesus, declared: “Hear now, O Joshua the high priest, you and your friends who sit before you, for they are men who are a sign: behold, I will bring My Servant, the Branch. For behold, on the stone that I have set before Joshua, on a single stone, with seven eyes, I will engrave its inscription … and I will remove the iniquity of of this land in a single day” (3:8-9, ESV). Joshua and those with him, all those rebuilding the temple, would be a “sign” (Hebrew = mopheth, “a wonder, sign, miracle, token, omen”). Joshua, and those building the temple with him, basically served as a prophecy and an illustration of a much greater future event.

One “sign” was the name of “Joshua” himself, which is the Anglicized version of the Hebrew name “Yeshua,” and “Jesus” is the Hellenized version of the same name. So Joshua was the name of our Lord Jesus, and Jesus was the Angel of Yahweh speaking to him. Now Joshua and his people were anxious about their enemies, who were trying to stop the rebuilding of their lives when they returned to Jerusalem. They were also dealing with past errors and sins which still caused divisions and losses among them. And all were forced to placate the ruthless power of Persia, who lorded it over them in hard ways which did not tolerate their failures. All this, with many other daily problems, threatened the peace of the people. Thus, although Joshua was a loving high priest, longing to teach them God’s wisdom for a spiritual life of joy, peace and love, he was overwhelmed. So the Angel of Yahweh comforted and encouraged Joshua, saying: “I will bring My servant the Branch.” And Joshua knew this Branch was the Messiah, the beautiful and glorious Branch in Isaiah’s prophecy made about 200 years ago (Is. 4:2), and the righteous Branch descended from David, which Jeremiah prophesied about less than a hundred years ago (Jer. 23:5). This was the one and only unbreakable “single stone” which Yahweh God Himself set before Joshua and his people. Their Messiah was God’s immutable

promise, with a complete and perfect “seven eyes,” able to see all existence everywhere, able to overcome all troubles in His predestined and appointed times. This Messiah would “remove the iniquity of this land in a single day,” together with all the destroying effects of those lies and sins.

Yahweh God is the only Judge of all men, and Yahweh has handed over all judgment over to the Messiah Jesus (John 5:22-23), because Yahweh is a Spirit, and the Holy Spirit of Yahweh is the life-giving Spirit in the body of Jesus. Then this Angel of Yahweh, who came to Joshua, was that one and only Messiah Jesus. Jesus knows all His elect brothers and sisters in the family of God, then judges, teaches, rebukes, comforts, trains and purifies the motives, intentions and wills of their infantile and failing spirits in their hearts. Jesus plucks elect souls, who are all charred and burning branches in the fires of sin, from those destroying flames, to heal and redeem them all, as He did with Joshua.

And Jesus, the Angel of Yahweh, did not merely speak those words to Joshua. Joshua did not simply hear them in the same way we read those words in our Bibles, attempting to interpret their meanings with a dull and faithless mind of flesh. Rather, the concepts represented by those words poured directly into the mind of Joshua’s spirit, with a full comprehension of all they implied, with all the power of God to make his spirit alive, hopeful and determined to carry on his works for God, filling him with peace as God gave his spirit a trusting faith in Him and in His words. And this is why that ordinary, sinful, fallible man named Joshua continued his works, to build up his people and their faith, as well as the temple, which represented the human body of their Messiah and God, with His presence within it. This was the “sign” that Joshua and those beleaguered people of Israel completed in those days, during their captivity in the four kingdoms of Babylon, Persia, Greece and Rome. So too will the works of Jesus during the extreme trials of His first advent, when He first brought us the teachings and the sacrifice of our eternal and final High Priest, be completed on the day Jesus will return to Jerusalem. It has been a long time of teaching and training for His Jewish and Gentile elect in this world, more than 2,500 years since Zechariah and Joshua. But all time is one time, since all of the past and all of the future exist now, in this moment. Thus, God is not slow to fulfill His promise.

Jesus is Yahweh God, so He is the greatest Messenger or “Angel” of God. He brought the message of the Gospel at His first advent. He taught God’s New Covenant salvation, just as this Angel of Yahweh taught it to Joshua. So Joshua, and to the other Jews who were building the temple in about 519 BC. They were a “sign” of the coming Messiah Jesus, since Jesus came to them as the Angel of Yahweh with the message of the New Covenant salvation of forgiveness and cleansing. First, while in captivity to Persia and in times of great troubles, those builders illustrated Israel’s future time of captivity in Satan’s fourth kingdom of Rome, created by Babylon. They had great temptations and hardships like the future Roman kingdom would cause during the Messiah’s first advent. Then later, in the first century AD, their Messiah brought hope and spiritual salvation with His sacrifice, as the true High Priest of Israel also named Joshua, or Jesus in Greek. While that remnant of Jews were building the second temple, they were a “sign” of Jesus’ first advent. And their completed second temple would be the “sign” of His second advent. For the completed temple meant Israel became God’s priesthood once more, and live in peace again, where each man could “invite his neighbor to come under his vine and under his fig tree,” which is the ministry of Jews after His second advent.

After Jesus returns and restores Israel in the end times, the surviving elect Jews will host the Gentile nations who come to worship Jesus and learn from Him, who come to hear His teachings within His judgments. So the Jews in Israel will host their Gentile neighbors from around the world. The Jews will sit with their elect Gentile siblings and serve them as the ministering priests of Yahweh Jesus, inviting each one for comfort and counsel under his own tree. Israel will become a priestly nation.

Now our Creator’s two main promises of His New Covenant salvation were to forgive our sins and to take personal responsibility for the teaching of our spirits, by personally writing His Law on our hearts and minds. And the forgiveness of our unintentional and repented sins, through His atoning sacrifice on the cross, was necessary to restore our relationship with Him, to fully justify His acts of personally teaching our spirits. Then the purpose and goal of teaching and training our spirits is to make our spirits loving and holy like His Spirit, able to rightly serve His creations as He does, so we might become fit to enter into His home of heaven and serve the true lives of His creations up there.

For both of God’s eternal covenants of salvation, both the Abrahamic and New Covenants, promised: “I will be their God, and they shall be My people’ (Jer. 31:33, ESV, cf., Gen. 17:7-8). God becomes our trusted and worshiped God by forever serving as the Teacher and Savior of our eternal spirits, which removes all other gods from our hearts, through the powerful love, truth and wisdom that He teaches us. He makes Himself our only God by teaching us about Himself and His ways, by writing His Law upon our hearts and in the minds of our spirits. His Holy Spirit counsels our infantile spirits in our hearts, so we will thoroughly know Him and His ways, so our elect spirits will truly love Him as His people who serve His creations, as His children of His family working beside Him. And this is the only purpose in the heart of the one, true Creator God, to love and serve His creations, especially His children, those with human spirits created in His own image, those who love to serve as He does.

Because the Father of our spirits teaches and trains our spirits, our whole souls begin to worship Him rightly, through real truth which builds up genuine, God-like love in us. As we hear and guard His truths and wisdom in our hearts, we begin to love, esteem and serve Him more each day. We begin to long to serve Him, and spontaneously serve Him by serving His creations through the just and God-like love that He builds up in our spirits—the kind of love described in His Law, when His Law is rightly taught to our spirits by Jesus, in a way that truly fulfills His intended purposes. God begins to work in us and through us for His creations. In other words, as we learn from Jesus, we grow more righteous each day, in a pure, just, loving way. This kind of righteousness is often figuratively represented by “clean” white garments over our spirits, even upon our whole souls. For garments represented the character and all the attributes of a person, all that we are, all that we say or do.

This is why Jesus, the Angel of Yahweh, commanded that Joshua’s “filthy garments” had to be removed, then proclaimed, “I will clothe you with pure vestments.” Our God Jesus had already forgiven Joshua’s sins, and the sins of all elect in history by that time, although His bodily death on the cross would not occur until more than 500 years later. For earthly time exists all at once, in one moment of “now” in the mind of the Creator of time. This cleansing from sin was God’s promise of His New Covenant salvation in the Messiah Jesus. And it is a promise for all the elect, for all whose spirits made inherently able to love in a just and God-like way. All the surviving elect on earth will be gathered into the priesthood of Israel during the end times, after the revival in the era of the sixth seal, but before Jesus appears in His body of flesh. All will become the body of our God Jesus, doing the works of God on earth. As the Revelation to John prophesied, it will be said, “His Bride has made herself ready; it was granted her to clothe herself with fine linen, bright and pure,” and, “the fine linen is the righteous deeds of the saints” (Rev. 19:7-8, ESV). This is our salvation on the earth.

Soon Jesus will indeed “grant” us the loving righteousness represented by the “fine linen, bright and pure,” just as Jesus granted Joshua “pure vestments.” Joshua was a “sign” of the Messiah’s salvation for the Creator’s priesthood of Israel, all the elect Jews and Gentiles He will gather into it, into His one true church. The replacement of “filthy” clothes of sin with “pure vestments” of righteousness symbolizes the personal righteousness that each individual in Jesus’ body, the church, will be granted in the end times, by the day Jesus returns. And even more of this will be granted after Jesus returns.

There were two reasons for the Angel of Yahweh to “put a clean turban” on Joshua, the high priest: (1) God’s Old Covenant Law commanded the high priest to wear this symbolic head covering in Exodus 28:4, and (2) Joshua merely represented the Messiah. Only the Messiah was the real High Priest of Israel, and all that Joshua said and did had to be done in the name of the Messiah, our God, never according to his own will, never in his own name. The high priest’s head covering was unique, since God’s Law did not require a head covering for any other male worshiper except the high priest. Remember, the only reason Jewish men cover their heads with a prayer shawl, or wear a “skull cap” (i.e., called a kippah or yarmulke) is because that was originally a pagan tradition in Babylon, a sign of respect for the human gods they worshiped as their owners. For Babylon created Satan’s religion of human worship, called humanism. So the Jews adopted the practice of human worship and still practice it to this day. But God alone owns men. So God’s law never required a head covering for male worshipers, since a head covering was a sign that some other human owned you, that someone else was your head who bore authority over all you said and did, that someone else was your god.

Only the high priest wore a head covering, a “turban,” because he alone was not acting through his own volition, because he alone entirely represented the Messiah, our God, with no right to say or do whatever he himself willed to say or do. But the Jewish men never wore head coverings before their Babylonian captivity. Only the women wore head coverings, because women tend to absorb the wills of their loved ones, automatically let the wills of others conform their own wills into saying or doing what their loved ones desire. Women have equal spirits, but their minds of flesh were designed by God to conform more easily than men, with judgments that also conform, either for good or evil.

Ever since the days of Babylon, some orthodox Jews opposed this pagan tradition of head coverings for men, based on the principles and teachings of Moses and the prophets. The apostolic Christians did too (see I Cor. 11:2-16). So it is doubtful that Zechariah wore a head covering of any kind while he prayed, although he wanted Joshua, the high priest, to wear one. Nor did Jesus and the apostles wear head coverings of any kind, although His disciples wrapped His head in a covering after His body died, and that hiding of the “unclean” dead remained there while His body lay in the tomb until the third day. For the head covering or “turban” of the high priest was unique, representing God’s continuous ownership, authority, guidance, protection and willingness to forever counsel all of the temporary high priest’s thoughts, as he ministered to all God’s children in His true church of Israel.

Since the high priest served all the Jewish and Gentile elect children of God in the world, as he stood before God’s presence in the inner sanctuary called the “Holy of Holies,” he wore this head covering to signify God’s authority over him, and God’s guidance of his thoughts, words and deeds, as well as God’s promise to serve His people and cover over their failures or sins, as their loving, protecting God. But even the high priest would not wear his head covering when he personally prayed, when he was not acting on behalf of the people. For God’s Word and His Spirit commands the spirits of men to uncover their heads when they personally pray, to acknowledge their direct relationship with God and their responsibility to directly hear and heed God’s communications with their spirits. Then men are to take responsibility for providing spiritual and moral structures, with comfort, encouragement, healing and protection for women, children, all whom they may affect, and even all God’s creations.

And now let me comment on the accusation that this time of the second temple period was deeply marred with divisions in Israel, and with all kinds of heresies. It was a time of bitter hatred, suffering and very many deaths, caused by both Jews and Gentile invaders alike. Although this Messianic prophecy through Zechariah seems hopeful, the following centuries were actually terrible. And let me suggest that a major cause of all those horrors involved the adoption of humanistic doctrines

regarding the roles and worth of women in the church and society. This is very relevant to our day and will be relevant to the end of time on earth. So let me discuss this topic once more, in depth.

God directly teaches the spirits of all the elect, all men, women and children. But all mature elect male disciples are potentially able to serve God more directly, without interference from any other human desires and wills. Mature elect males can more readily receive God’s spiritual teachings and principles without compromise or corruptions, to make judgments that fully align with God’s loving, just, equitable will, in opposition to their own carnal wills. God’s teachings and power can enable mature elect men to free themselves from all human authorities and wills, in ways that women cannot, so those men can say or do God’s will even if it means the death of their flesh—not in the delusions of fake religion from the mind of flesh, but in the actual service of the real God Himself.

But not all mature elect males are symbols of our God and true High Priest, the Messiah, ministering to literally all God’s people in His name before His presence in the temple’s Holy of Holies. So each mature elect man must act independently on behalf of his God regarding the works God assigned to him alone, and must not wear head coverings. None of the prophets, nor any men in Old Covenant times before the days of Babylon, nor even any of the elect angels, wore head coverings. Only women wore head coverings when they prayed, when they came before God to personally speak to Him. Since God created women to be more concerned with earthly concerns regarding their loved ones and other influences in their lives, and not directly with spiritual principles and structures, they wore a head covering to signify that their works were influenced by men and their people. Since a woman could not act through independent and spontaneous intentions and motives for God, to build up family and community structures, she wore a head covering to signify that she was God’s servant within a structure built by the men in her home and community, and to indicate that she was not culpable for those structures, nor the lies and sins they might bring into her life and works for God.

All this may seem chauvinistic or even misogynistic to humanists, who do not acknowledge biblical anthropological doctrines which delineate between the mind of the spirit and the mind of flesh in the chamber of the soul. But, although the spirits of females are exactly like the spirits of males, and all elect spirits in both male and female earthly bodies are indeed directly taught by God, earthly lives and earthly purposes for women are not the same as those of males. So women require a reminder of this when they pray, that their wills are not necessarily God’s will, and that only a few mature elect males, if their spirits are truly willing to seek truth and wisdom from God, actually learn God’s will. And the elect spirits of both men and women can eventually judge who is from God, or what words or deeds actually are said or done according to God’s will and power. We can know this through the fruits of the Holy Spirit manifesting in the lives of those who are sent by God, that is, by one’s “love [i.e., God’s kind of just and true love] , joy [i.e., inwardly], peace [with God], patience [i.e., a spirit’s forbearance or long-suffering, not natural patience], kindness, goodness, faith [in God’s love and in His words], gentleness, and self-control [i.e., this the inclination to strengthen spiritual resolve and overcome temptations, not a natural self-control in the mind of flesh]” (Gal. 5:22-23, ESV). Whatever is said or done “in all goodness and righteousness and truth, proving what is well pleasing to the Lord” (Eph. 5:9-10, ESV), is from God.

In reality, no matter what any man or woman wants to say or do in our day, one cannot possibly act independently from God, since God did not make any minds of flesh nor any minds of spirits able to do that. So literally all of the many and varied male and female services to God, through their spirits managing their flesh, revolve around how God teaches and trains each one. And all His works serve for the spiritual and physical well-being of their loved ones and the rest of His creations. But a woman cannot separate her thoughts from the opinions and desires of her loved ones, like some men can. Therefore, only some men can be authoritative teaching and judging elders for groups of people.

Most of the decisions a woman makes are ultimately governed by the views of people in her sphere of relationships. And, whether a woman is one of the elect or not, she thinks within the frameworks, structures, traditions and principles that she naturally (and usually unconsciously) accepts from the men who made them for her society and family. But this makes her naturally able to adapt to new situations, families and societies, far more than men do, since men only adapt to externals required to build their own spiritual and moral views, then inwardly oppose the rest. This does not mean that women lack morality or good judgments. In fact, the feminine skills of wise elect women are needed in every kind of family and community, and female input is essential to good government and legal judgments, as well as in science, planning, designing and every other aspect of life. And an adept male mind working in harmony with an adept female mind is the only way to produce what we call true “genius.” But, in the end, a full array of God’s created truths and principles must be applied in every major decision, without the compromises or corruptions of the flesh, which is something that only some mature, taught, trained and called elect men can actually do according to God’s true will.

So there is absolutely nothing inferior, corrupt or wrong about the wisdom of mature elect women. Rather, that wisdom is important, loving, true, right and necessary. Even secular feminism, as messy and self-destructive as it is, teaches some good principles against misogynistic Roman humanism, while also preaching many doctrines that actually overwhelm and destroy the lives of women. But males invented this illusion of humanistic feminine self-sufficiency, and male self-sufficiency as well. Those humanistic delusions were actually created by men who manipulated women so they could gain more income, and for other materialistic purposes, including more free sex which would devastate the lives of women. Feminist doctrines or moral structures are neither for nor from women.

Thus, for a woman to wisely and lovingly serve her people in her sphere of relationships with joy, she must not ignore God’s teaching and training of her spirit. Yet she must sometimes ignore the counsel or commands of men who are not sent by God, including those in fake humanistic churches. Yet women often do compromise on truths and principles for the sakes of their loved ones. This is unavoidable, natural and even holy, if it is done through love and when no other alternative seems to be available. And a woman often does this because men cannot see what God created a woman to see in her people, because men will not listen to her. Yet a woman’s natural and godly propensity to compromise may also cause serious damage or deaths, if she compromises or nullifies essential concepts and principles from God. So there needs to be honest communication between mature elect men and mature elect women, real hearing with full understanding, for the building up of spiritual and moral structures in a family and community. Neither males nor females are independent from one another, and humankind definitely is not wise enough to survive without the input of their God.

Therefore, a mature and faithful elect man can directly serve God in matters pertaining to just love and faith for an abundant life, although such men also make even horrible mistakes. Likewise, a mature and faithful woman can serve God a little more indirectly, in matters pertaining to spiritual, emotional and physical needs for abundant life, and also make some terrible mistakes. But both utterly depend on God’s love, power and truths, including His healing and restoration whenever one fails to do His will and repents into the realities of what one actually should have done, when one willingly learns wisdom from God. Let neither serve as Satan’s slaves. For Satan can directly rule as the god of a man or woman, but still must use men and women in the same ways God does. For the minds of flesh in men and in women cannot be altered by the devil. The ways that male and female minds of flesh were created are according to the immutable laws of God’s material creations, even if a male mind of flesh thinks in feminine ways or vice versa. What that mind is, it will remain that.

So the most powerful works of God and the most powerful works of Satan are both done through male bodies of flesh, in ways managed and ultimately directed by their genderless managing elect or non-elect spirits. The most far-reaching and long-term good works done on earth are initiated by men, while the greatest evil works on earth are also initiated by men. So God does not arbitrarily forbid females to serve as judges, teachers of faith and core doctrines, or anything involving the application of spiritual principles through God’s authority. Rather, God simply tells us that women are not able to rightly interpret or enforce spiritual and moral laws and policies which severely affect other personal lives. Only His chosen, taught, trained, called and sent mature elect male servants can do this. So God also forbids immature males to become teaching and judging elders as well. Above all, God forbids Satan’s male offspring from becoming involved in any kind of spiritual teaching and judging. Rather, God commands all the people to choose the mature males He has taught, trained, called and chosen to be their teaching and judging elders, and that we will know them by their fruits.

In matters that do not involve teaching and judging according to God’s spiritual principles, women can do as well as men, or even better in some cases, since God made the spirits of women fully equal to the spirits of men. So women are sometimes able to see when men are not saying or not doing God’s will, and some can even see this before men see it. Thus, God sometimes calls women to rebuke the lies and and sins of men too. From the beginning, God has forbidden the silencing of elect women in a godly home or society, and women were originally to share the same courtyard of prayer in His temple. Only humanistic families, religions and cultures silenced women and separated them, like the Jews did after Babylon. Roman males even thought they “owned” women and children, as well as other men, and treated them as inferior slaves who did not have a right to an opinion. But God only ever silenced evil, but has always spoken to the spirits of women in exactly the same way as He speaks to the spirits of men. Then His elect high priests and His other authorities did the same.

All godly male authorities need to listen to women regarding the welfare of other souls, and will need to do so frequently. For a godly woman’s service to her people makes her input absolutely essential regarding all matters of the people’s welfare. Women are necessary in building truly godly and loving communities, churches and families (e.g., see I Cor. 11:1-16; Eph. 5:21-33). Yes, the misogynistic, Roman humanistic doctrines of our spiritually dead and amoral society oppressed women for two millennia. But feminism also forbids women to be natural servants of God through the same factious and self-contradicting Roman humanism, making it impossible to build any kind of truly loving communities, churches and families. Of course, the old humanistic chauvinism of Rome treated women as possessions and never allowed women to do their God-given duties as God’s elect children, and did not permit truly loving communities, churches or families. But, even in ancient Rome, modern forms of feminism existed, and those also destroyed the ability to build truly loving communities, churches or families. So what we actually need now are God’s just, right ways.

Nothing but the ways of God’s Word, which His Holy Spirit teaches, interprets and harmonizes for our elect spirits, in opposition to both humanistic feminism and humanistic chauvinism, will allow us to build united, just and loving communities, churches and families, and God’s power will only work all this among the elect spirits who seek His wisdom through just love. Thus, as Zechariah and Joshua built God’s temple, God said, “If you will walk in My ways and keep My charge, then … I will give you the right of access among those who are standing here” (Zech. 3:7, ESV). But those “standing” there included both men and women. So God wanted His prophet Zechariah and His high priest Joshua to hear and counsel all His people, both males and females. However, likely during this second temple period, and possibly even by the end of the first temple period, God saw Israel divide

the women from the men in the temple courtyards, according to false doctrines from Babylon and Persia, likely through pressures from pagan officials. And this was not pleasing to Yahweh our God.

Certainly by the time of Herod, the temple courts were separating the women from the men. And Herod was not a devout Jew, so he refurbished the second temple according to the pattern of the old second temple built by Zechariah, Joshua and the Jews returning from Babylon and Persia. Herod would not dare to allow modifications which would anger any Jews. Thus, the first construction of the temple in Zechariah’s day, not long after the Babylonian captivity, likely also separated the men from the women in the temple courtyard. And the Jewish priests and teachers during the second temple period, and even to this day, seemed to stupidly reason that, if anything looks inappropriate to anyone, they must avoid it. So, since pagan humanists in Babylon and Persia thought it was not appropriate to allow the mingling of men and women in the temple courtyard, Jewish authorities forbade it and separated the men from the women. Yet that false reasoning is obviously insane when it is carried that far. Yes, we can do little lawful things to appease pagans, like sometimes dress in ways they may deem to be “appropriate.” But we cannot compromise God’s laws and ways. And we must realize that the vast majority of God’s laws and ways seem “inappropriate” or even evil to many pagans. Thus, to appease the pagans, we would need to nullify most of God’s laws and ways, or even all of them, even though our God, the Messiah, came to fulfill literally all God’s laws in us and through us, without nullifying even one tiny detail. Thus, those who built the second temple caused an endless series of troubles for Israel, and never saw Israel fully united in all God’s truths.

To build a loving, just, harmonious, united people in a church or community, the people must respect God and His just and equitable spiritual teachings. And, to gain this respect, the people need very good teaching and judging elders, men who are truly called, taught, trained and sent by God to educate the people and to make right decisions in disputes. A people will need to choose God’s chosen elders, who will provide sound reasons and fully comprehended teachings regarding all their decisions, especially in disagreements about doctrines affecting the laws and ways of the people.

However, to choose the right teaching and judging elders, to elect literally all the positions of all decision-making authorities, a church or society needs the women to be involved in those choices, since well-taught, mature elect women are often the first to see when a wanna-be human god is an immoral hypocrites, or the first to see when a man actually bears the fruits of God’s Holy Spirit, as God’s choice for their elder. Therefore, to build a godly, just, loving, harmonious church or society, there must be respect for the spirits of women, and for all people. Both women and men must be taught and trained, as God also teaches and trains the spirits of both women and men. And all the people must be heard and reasoned with, to overcome the cunning lies of Satan’s non-elect, who are often the rich and carnally powerful, who are the hypocritical wanna-be human gods who destroy all.

This did not happen in Israel during the second temple period, in large part because they silenced the female servants of God, the elect women whom God always uses to build up communications and unity between individuals, families and various other groups in a church and in a community. Thus, they also silenced God, whom Daniel called “the inner desire or delight of women” (Dan. 11:37). So the women could say nothing when rich and bullying pretenders demanded that their people serve them instead of God. And the loving, wise elders whom God sent to His people were ignored and even murdered, while the Babylonian, Persian, Greek and Roman humanists took over, building their hierarchical class systems with elite human gods ruling over all, where each Jewish sect fought with the other in the names of their human gods. But the Jews did not learn from history, and repeat the same old lies and sins they did back then. So do the fake humanistic churches. Thus, we cannot expect to see a true church right now. But, in the end times, a true church of Israel will exist, and it

will be entirely harmonious once Jesus returns. So we should not be discouraged when we look at the history of Israel’s priesthood during the second temple period, but take hope in this Messianic prophecy of God through Zechariah. We should focus on God’s truths, not the effects of their sins.

Now the Messiah was prophesied to be God walking among us, serving us as our Head Judging Teacher, as our true, final, eternal High Priest. Of course, when our real and eternal High Priest Jesus came, He formed the New Covenant priesthood to teach and judge by a new Law. And He did this to fulfill all that the Old Covenant symbolic Levitical priesthood tried and failed to do through a mere written outline of God’s moral and ceremonial laws. The Messiah came to replace the old, failing, incomplete and temporary symbol with the new, succeeding, complete and eternal reality of God Himself working His sanctification inside of us (see chapter 7 and 8 of Hebrews). Through Jesus, the Creator now personally writes His whole law in the hearts of His people. By the sacrifice of His body on the cross, He atoned for our unintentional and repented sins, for all that we said and did in ignorance, fear and deception, to free our spirits free from the sins of our flesh, to restore a right relationship between us and Him, so His Holy Spirit could enter us and sanctify our human spirits.

Now that our Creator God personally teaches His intended meanings and applications of His laws directly to the minds of our forgiven and atoned spirits, we can make much greater progress, if we cast aside the delusions and lies that others pour into our mind of flesh. But Satan’s false religions, especially his preferred religion of humanism, tries to get us to focus only on the things of the flesh, so our elect spirits will not focus on the Creator’s Spirit. False religion turns all our attention toward physical sacraments, physically repeating form prayers, emotions of the flesh induced by music and deceiving rhetoric, loud chants and actions to hype up emotions of the flesh, mindless “meditation” in silence or with “prayer beads” to gain artificial peace through emotional and spiritual deadness, admiration for the fake glory of human gods so we might serve them, a craving for false belonging to a loveless crowd of deluded fools to replace true loving fellowship, as well as a host of other deceptions to make us walk according to our minds of flesh, and not according to the minds of our elect spirits with our God. Then the religious crafts of atheistic secular humanism does the same, by denying the very existence of the Creator as a Spirit, and their spirits even deny their own existence.

But the material existence of our flesh is merely a temporary perception controlled by God according to His laws and ways, to illustrate both good and evil to our spirits. And it will end, either in the death of our flesh or when God removes all perceptions of material existence from all. So life in the flesh is to teach our elect spirits for their eternal lives in the far more concrete eternal reality of the spiritual realm. Thus, we may now ask, have elect spirits learned from God to hate the horrors of the evils they have observed in their own lives and in history? Are their fake religions teaching them to reject the lies and delusions causing injustice and inequality, the exploitation of their siblings in the family of humankind, to nullify all that is causing slavery, murder and rape through class systems, ruthless greed and the worship of insane human gods who destroy life? No. Rather, their false religions teach them to embrace such things. But the real God is teaching their spirits to tear down all such things, then build up His just, equitable, loving kingdom here on this very wounded planet.

Now God’s elect are no longer left with a mere “shadow” of God’s Law written on paper, and are no longer left to interpret that dimmed outline of God’s intentions through their minds of flesh. Nor are His elect left to interpret His written Law through the infantile minds of their spirits, since their spirits are often “taken captive” and submit to their totally inept minds of flesh. Now the Holy Spirit of Jesus, their Creator God, will enter our hearts and souls to personally teach and train our spirits to love rightly and justly, even in the same way that He Himself loves. His awakening of our spirits and our spirits’ submission to our God Jesus is His salvation, which we must no longer resist through the

carnal teachings of fake humanistic religions. Also, we no longer need the Old Covenant symbols of the realities that came through Jesus, although neither is it a sin to practice the symbols if our spirits live in the realities they represent, even though some fake churches falsely declare this to be a sin.

Now Jesus lives in us and walks among us each and every day. Jesus stands beside us whenever He gathers two or more of us together in prayer and fellowship. And the very Spirit of Jesus directly covers our spirits with His protection, counsel and love all day and every day that He chooses to grant our spirits the perceptions of earthly life, teaching our spirits about good and evil until He chooses to take our spirits home. But, since all humans are sinners who cannot stop sinning while they live in bodies of flesh, Joshua could never fulfill the conditions of the New Covenant promises of the Messiah in Zechariah’s prophecy, and merely served as a “sign” of the Messianic Joshua or Jesus of the future. So the human Joshua of the 6th century BC was not the one who would truly rule over the teaching and judging in God’s temple. Only the Joshua or Jesus of the first century AD is able to fulfill this promise, to truly walk in all God’s ways and effectively guard all of God’s charge.

Only Jesus can fulfill these promises, as the eternal true High Priest and ruler of God’s household, to judge rightly in the courts of God, with full and true teachings granted through His judgments. This is why Jesus drove out the blaspheming money changers from the Gentile’s court of prayer with a whip of cords, to protect His elect from the delusion that the human gods ruling His church must also appease the demon Mammon to maintain worship. Then, while making the atoning sacrifice for our sins, Jesus even tore open the curtain to the Holy of Holies, to illustrate that we will now have unlimited access to our Father through Him. So now we know how He wants His people of Israel, His Jewish and Gentile priesthood to the world, to serve their heavenly Father as His holy family.

God clearly forbids His people to function in the same ways as those of Satan’s world order. God insists that His people must never to pretend to be god-like “owners” of land or anything else, like the pagans do. For His people are a royal priesthood (I Pet. 2:9), and His Law does not permit His priests to own anything except God Himself (Num. 18:20; Deut. 10:9). Nor can His priests ever be governed by mere men, who make themselves into the lords of equal siblings and rule according to their own human wills and man-made traditions. Instead, every man’s only Lord is God. For our God, through the Messiah’s New Covenant of Salvation, purchased and redeemed all from Satan’s world order. All of His elect are, therefore, owned by God, bought with a high price (I Cor. 6:19-20).

One who is owned cannot truly “own” any possessions. One who is owned can only serve as a steward of his Owner’s property. Literally everyone and everything belongs to God, and all is to be used for God’s purposes. God may appoint us to temporarily care for a few of His possessions, with a very limited capacity to decide what must be done with them, but always with the expectation that all one does with those possessions will be for His just and loving purposes. On the other hand, Satan is a thief whom God temporarily allows to falsely claim ownership of His property, until He and His elect heirs are ready to correct that robber’s lies and sins, until God’s kingdom repossesses those people and any other properties stolen from God. And, in the end, all one’s deeds will be judged by the Owner, by Jesus. So every steward must be careful to guard his appointed charge carefully, both the spiritual and physical knowledge and things granted to one, doing all one does according to the ways and commands of God, his Owner, in whatever capacity God gave to one.

When we understand all this, we can also begin to understand the second part of this prophecy. The Angel of Yahweh, who is Jesus, then showed Zechariah a vision of “a lampstand all of gold, with a bowl of the top of it [i.e., a reservoir holding the lamp oil], and seven lamps on it [or seven tubes coming out of the bowl, with a wick in each tube and a lomp on top of each tube], with seven lips on each of the lamps that are

on the top of it [with a wick in each lip on each lamp, for a total of 49 wicks]. And there are two olive trees by it, one on the right of the bowl and the other on on its left” (Zech. 4:2-3, ESV). So, assuming all the wicks on this golden lampstand were lit, the whole lampstand had a total of 49 lights on its seven branches, like a traditional menorah. That is, it had a perfect and complete number of lights on each of a perfect and complete number of branches. And it stood between two olive trees which eternally provided olive oil as fuel for the lamp, for its perfect and complete kind of light before God’s people.

Then, when Zechariah asked Jesus what this vision was about, He said, “This is the word of Yahweh to Zerubbabel: Not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit, says Yahweh of hosts. Who are you, O great mountain? Before Zerubbabel you shall become a plain. And he shall bring forward the top stone amid shouts of ‘Grace, grace to it!’” (Zech. 4:6-7, ESV). Zerubbabel was a governor sent by Persia to rebuild the Jewish Temple and Jerusalem. But many obstacles, including opposition from other local populations and the demoralization of his own people, prevented the completion of his assigned tasks. Those obstacles hindering God’s purposes for Israel, were the “mountain” that God would level into an easily traversable “plain.” Then the top stone would indeed be placed on God’s temple, to fully complete it, so God’s people could worship Him in their land. God’s threatened and disheartened people would hope again, with good favor for the temple and for God’s presence in it.

But God did not want Zerubbabel to directly rely on the swords of the workers nor the authority and power of Persia in solving their insurmountable “mountain” of problems. For humans do not actually own the land they fight for nor control what is done on it. Rather, God does. And God also controls each living entities perceptions of material time and existence, then manipulates human thoughts as He sees fit, were none can resist Him. Nor even the great Persian Empire had any real power through their ruthless massive armies. God alone determined their fate and the future of His priesthood of Israel, even the destinies of all in all lands on earth, of all built on those lands, and all else. God also bears the power and authority to remove power and life from men. So God could use the Jews or the the Persians as His agents to do His will. But God always prefers to use peaceful methods to solve problems rather than violent methods. So, although the Jews kept their swords beside them as they built the temple and Jerusalem, God would not use those swords to save them. Nor would God use the swords of Persia, not directly. It was not human might or power that His church of Israel needed to rebuild His nation of priests to serve the whole world. Rather, to restore their temple, priesthood, identity and homes, to survive as God’s servants to all who dwelt around them, the Jews needed the counsel, correction, encouragement, strength and love of God’s Spirit granted to their human spirits.

God wanted Zerubbabel to handle Israel’s problems wisely, through just, faithful, God-like love taught to his human spirit by God’s Spirit. For, in the days of Zerubbabel and throughout history, the four humanistic kingdoms (Babylon, Persia, Greece and Rome) believed that men ruled over their own destinies and could overcome all obstacles by the “might” and “power” of their own violent hands. The Persians, who had granted Israel permission to rebuild Jerusalem and the temple, trusted only in their unjust armies and ruthless swords, which always caused tragedies for themselves and everyone they touched, but never actually built any kind of abundant life for anyone, not even for the wretched, deluded, self-destructive elite in their palaces. So God wanted Zerubbabel, the governor of His people, to overcome their “mountain” of obstacles in a far better way, through a wise, just love.

At this critical time, Zerubbabel’s spirit had to hear and heed the Spirit of God, and walk in God’s kind of wisdom, through faith in God’s loving power. For the main hindrance to their works was the jealousy of Samaritan religious leaders, a local people who felt threatened by the return of the Jews and harassed them. After all, the Samaritans had their own temple and believed they were now the true people of Yahweh, much like the churches who teach replacement theology. So they tried to stop

the immigrant Jews from rebuilding the Jerusalem temple and reviving biblical religion. Because of the Samaritan persecution, the tired Jewish priesthood and their people lived under constant anxiety and grew more demoralized each day. Nevertheless, God proclaimed through Zechariah: “The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this house; his hands shall also complete it, Then you will know that Yahweh of hosts has sent me to you” (4:9, ESV). The temple’s foundation had been laid and, through faith in Yahweh, the whole temple would be completed, if they would lay aside their faith in human might and power, if they would refrain from starting a war against the Samaritans.

If Zerubbabel responded in anger, with all the swords and physical power he and his people could muster against the Samaritans, with the largest army he could raise, he might have been able to defend his people against the Samaritans, or he might have failed and doomed his people to total destruction. Either way, many would die. Yet many Samaritans were loving elect souls in God’s embrace as well. So God did not want a hostile and bloody reaction to the Samaritan threat. Relying on the sword would also inwardly destroy Zerubbabel and his people, proving them to be just as bad as Satan’s humanistic kingdoms of Babylon and Persia. Yet the Samaritans were not all innocent. For their leaders had lied to the king of Persia, telling him that Israel was building the temple so they could rally their people for a rebellion against Persia. And the Samaritan authorities also incited their people into violence against the Jews, instead of doing their duty to instill calm and peace. On the other hand, largely through the prophecies of Zechariah, Zerubbabel’s spirit heard God, sought a peaceful solution, restrained his immigrant Jewish people from violence, and kept them building.

Also, if Zerubbabel relied on military might to protect his people and his building projects, the false accusations of the Samaritans would appear to be true in the eyes of the Persian king. For we must remember that Samaria belonged to the Persian Empire too. Thus, any attack on any part of the Persian Empire, even a defensive war against the Samaritans, would be seen as a war against Persia itself. Then Persia would respond by sending their troops to crush the supposed Jewish “rebellion.” So Zerubbabel was caught in a Catch-22 situation, where he had to defend his people, but could not do so without risking their utter destruction. This is why God Himself had to solve this problem for Israel, and why God counseled Zerubbabel to wait upon Him. In this impossible situation, they had to trust in the wisdom, power and love of Yahweh. Yes, they must continue the works they knew they could do, but patiently, according to the concepts God poured into the mind of their human spirits.

Soon after this, in response to a letter sent from Persia’s regional representatives, God caused Darius, the king of Persia, to search the royal records of decrees and decisions made by Persian kings. In those records, Darius found out that Cyrus, a former king of Persia, had issued a decree commanding the Jews to emigrate from Persia back to their homeland and rebuild their temple. Since Darius did not want to contradict previous Persian decrees, which would make Persia look inconsistent and foolish, Darius commanded his representatives ruling over Israel and Samaria to allow Zerubbabel and the Jews continue their construction of the temple, and to silence all who opposed their efforts to obey the decrees of Persia. Thus, the tables turned. Now, if the Samaritans attacked the Jews, they would be regarded as rebels against Persia, and could be destroyed. Now the Jews could work on their temple in peace, with freedom from fear. And Darius also provided additional help for the building of the temple. This good news brought great hope and joy to Israel, with more faith in God.

So Zerubbabel’s spirit trusted God’s prophecy to wait for Him to act, and his faith was greatly rewarded. God promised to remove the “mountain” of obstacles. And, after a time of suffering, God fulfilled His promise. The “mountain” which blocked their path and seemed impossible to remove, became a level and easy “plain” for them to walk upon. Then they finished building their temple in about 516 BC, and the decorative capstone was placed on it “amid shouts of ‘Grace! Grace to it!’”

This second temple was smaller than the first, yet the ability to complete it was actually a great spiritual victory, and the process was also a prophecy about the Messiah’s first and second advents.

The returning Jewish people had been so disheartened by the Samaritan opposition that they thought it might be safer to abandon their building projects, to avoid more conflicts. But Zechariah then prophesied that Zerubbabel would complete the construction of the temple. And when Zerubbabel did, Israel would know that God sent Zechariah, that God did indeed speak to him and that he was a true prophet uttering the very words of God. And, yes, this second temple would not be nearly as magnificent as the first temple built by Solomon, that is, until Herod renovated and expanded it just before the first advent of the Messiah, Jesus. Yet this small second temple was far more spiritually significant than any other temple. For Israel’s return and their painful process of building this small temple was a prophecy about Israel’s trials after their Messiah’s first advent. Then the completion of this temple through God’s manipulations of Satan’s humanistic kingdom of Persia was a prophecy about the second advent of their Messiah, including Israel’s victory over their Roman enemies and their future millennium of peaceful existence under their Messiah’s rule over Israel and the world.

Consequently, although some Jews told stories about the wondrous physical glory of the first temple before the Babylonians destroyed it, and this second temple seemed so physically insignificant in comparison, these few returning beleaguered Jews should not have been discouraged by its size and by all the troubles they endured to build it. As God said: “For whoever has despised the day of small things shall rejoice, and shall see the plumb line in the hand of Zerubbabel” (4:10, ESV). All the losses and hardships they faced while building this smaller temple would result in enormous spiritual blessings for many generations to come. In fact, this was a spiritual turning point for God’s one true priesthood of Israel, directing their path in ways that would save all the elect in the entire world through their Messiah Jesus, and affect all history, even until the end of time on earth. If the Jews did not revive the priesthood of Israel at that time, it would have faded and died, without the Messiah’s works of His first advent done in and through Israel. Nor would there be any hosting nation of Israel, in the pattern of the symbolic Aaronic priesthood, to serve the Gentile visitors in Jesus’ name after His second advent, during the millennium. But God refused to allow such tragedies to ever occur.

The second temple period represented God’s gift of the New Covenant salvation worked through Jesus, Israel’s Messiah. So this was surely no small thing! Each hour’s hard labour in fear and in seeming hopelessness, represented and heralded in the salvation of the world’s elect, to fulfill God’s promise to Abraham, that Israel would be a blessing to the entire world. So it may have seemed to be a small and despised thing in the eyes of Gentiles, like the Samaritans, who wanted only their temple and their priests to be glorified, although their temple and priests existed only through human wills and human efforts, not by God’s revealed will and God’s power. And it seemed like a small matter in the eyes of Satan’s world order, especially that devil’s four humanistic kingdoms, who worshiped their wretched and foolish elite because they dressed in expensive clothing and made great boasts about themselves. Yet the mundane faith, sweat and perseverance which built this small temple for God, according to God’s revealed will, was the most important event occurring on earth at that time, far more relevant to the earth’s ultimate survival than all the edicts of all kings on earth put together.

That lowly and despised labour for God, which paid nothing and seemed to be so insignificant in the eyes of the world, should not be ignored nor considered worthless by God’s true elect. Likewise, the “small” things which God’s Spirit calls our own spirits to do daily should not be ignored nor treated as less than the “big” works of false preachers, the rich or the powerful. For God primarily teaches and trains our spirits through our “small” daily tasks for our loved ones, and for the “little” people He brings into the spheres of our lives. through their “small” works of speaking a few words or performing a few simple tasks in just love. God has always worked more through “small” human works than through “big” human works. Then God multiplies the blessings of “small” works, making them His works which save many souls. Our God Jesus even blessed a “small” work of a young boy, who enthusiastically gave his five loaves and two small fish to Him, in a way that fed more than five thousand hungry souls who did not have enough strength to walk all the way home from the place where they had gone to hear God’s Word.

Thus, we must not view works from the world’s arrogant and foolish physical perspective, based on how much of Satan’s invention of money it cost, or how much it impressed those who love Satan’s world order. We should never despise the “small” and insignificant spiritual works through just love, which God gives our hands to do each day for the teaching and training of our eternal spirits. In the end, those “small” works of love from our spirits will do far more good than all the “big” works of all the loveless hypocrites put together, since God does not bless those who seek fame and praise for themselves alone. In fact, their “big” works usually do more harm than good. We need to serve our God daily, according His prompting of our spirits to justly, equitably and mercifully love our siblings in the family of humankind. This is the source of consistent, persistent inner joy, because it educates and matures our spirits, because it builds up our love for others and our loving relationship with our God. Also, our spirits can truly expect to see great spiritual and eternal rewards in heaven from this!

If we can forget or ignore anything, it is the rewards of the world order, which never satisfy either the spirit or the flesh, and lure one into ever more loveless lies and sins. Meanwhile, God’s rewards are good for both the spirit and the flesh. God’s “small” works build eternal love in our spirits, on a solid foundation of His truths and wisdom. These are the first and foremost kinds of rewards we must seek, the kinds of treasures our spirits can take with us into heaven after our deaths in the flesh, the kind that the living cannot steal from us. And we need to know that God surely will put the “plumb line” in our hands, if we set out to do His “small” works. That is, we will see our works fully completed and, when we test the angle of our works, they will prove to be straight up and strong, fit for our eternal lives in heaven. We will not be among the spirits who will lament their lives on earth.

God called an elect mortal man, who was a filthy sinner like us all, to work on the walls of a temple representing His very name and presence in the world. A mortal sinner was left to ensure that those walls were vertical, straight and true, like God Himself, and to ensure those walls did not fall upon His people who came to worship and praise Him. So even that little job was very important, and the failure to do it correctly risked both physical and spiritual consequences. Yet Jesus is God’s temple in heaven, the reality of all that the stone temple represented, because the Spirit of life inside the body of Jesus is God. Likewise, every individual elect soul who knows the real Jesus is left to ensure that his or her words and deeds are upright and straight, true enough to never collapse upon them or any of God’s people who worship Him. And, to do this rightly, our spirits require the teaching and training of Jesus’ Holy Spirit. Our works require His works in us and through us. Then, although our works may be “small,” God’s power will magnify and multiply them, even to save the entire world.

God grants knowledge and responsibilities to His fallible, weak, sinful servants, then enables them to serve Him by serving His creations. And, if we do not do His works, both our flesh and our spirits grow weak, inept and even deluded or insane. We need to work, even for all eternity, since our works are a source of our joys and fulfillment, if they are works God created us to do. Our Father allows His children to partake in His works on earth, to train our infantile spirits. Of course, since God created the heavens and the earth, He could easily build a temple Himself, in a fraction of a second, making it far bigger and far more beautiful than anything even the best architects could ever dream

of designing. But that is almost never what God does! For what father would be so cruel as to do literally everything for his children and refuse to teach them to do anything useful and fulfilling?

Our Father in heaven loves the messy, “small” and humble things we build ourselves, although they are not nearly as good as what He can build for us or for Himself. Our imperfect works, with many mistakes and failings, are far more precious to our Father than anything He does for Himself. Any attempted good by the hands of His children is sweet and wondrous to Him because, in our earthly works, He sees our future lives in heaven with Him, after we will all become mature and lovingly serve His creations as He does now. Do loving mothers and fathers of small children ever despise the “small” imperfect works of their children? Then how can anyone think our far more loving Father in heaven will despise our “small” imperfect works on earth? And why would we want our Father to do everything for us? How could we ever learn to love anyone if God did all our works for us? And how could we truly appreciate what is good and wise if we never had anything bad or foolish to compare it with? The whole purpose of our time on earth is to learn to do the works that our Father does in heaven, to appreciate all that is perfectly good, wise in and from God, so we love our loving Father.

Now look at how Jesus, the Angel of Yahweh, described the seven eyes of the Stone (see 3:9) set before the high priest Joshua: “These seven are the eyes of Yahweh, which range through the whole earth” (4:10, ESV). Since the number seven represents completion and perfection, God perfectly sees everything on the whole earth, without errors in His perceptions or judgments. And a Stone represents God’s eternal and immutable existence. And, since this is a Messianic prophecy, this is actually saying that the Messiah has the eyes or Spirit of the all-seeing, immutable God, Yahweh.

Someday, when the Head of each individual man is Jesus the Messiah, when men worship Him in spirit and truth, when the church becomes pure, the world will become a theocracy ruled by Jesus, our God. And Jesus will be the same loving, healing Teacher He was when He walked on earth with us in the first century, because He does not change. But no theocracy is possible until Jesus does return, since men do not have seven eyes to see all perfectly and completely. Infantile human spirits, especially those of humanistic wanna-be gods, cannot rule a theocracy. The most that any man can do is serve God by serving others according to God’s just and loving ways, where human authorities judge in counsels of multiple humble souls who are judged by the people. Only Jesus is God, and able to rule with divine authority, not any man, nor any council of men, since power deludes them.

Then the Angel, who is Jesus, was hesitant to answer Zechariah when asked again about the identity of the two olive trees on both sides of the lampstand. First the Angel deflected Zechariah’s question once more, by asking him, “Do you not know what these are?” (4:13a, cf. 4:4). And Zechariah said again, “No, my Lord” (4:13b, cf. 4:5). For the Angel’s previous answer, saying that the olive trees and lampstand were the “word of Yahweh to Zerubbabel” (4:6), did not satisfy him. So the Angel answered again, and this said, “These are the two anointed ones who stand by the Lord of the whole earth” (4:14, ESV). From that point on, Zechariah would have assumed the Angel meant that the two olive trees were Zerubbabel and Joshua, the governor and high priest, the anointed secular governor and the anointed religious teacher, who both served God by producing the oil that kept the light of the Israel burning. Yet those two kinds of authorities would also serve the Messiah, who keeps His priesthood of Israel burning brightly, as Israel’s ministering King and as their teaching High Priest.

So, before the Messiah returns a second time, there will be another anointed guiding leader chosen by God, like Zerubbabel, and another anointed teaching high priest like Joshua. These will be the “two witnesses” or “two prophets” that John’s Revelation spoke about, dressed in sackcloth to mourn the sins of Israel and the world, the iniquities of the previous two thousand years, since the

first advent of the Messiah. Like all godly secular rulers and high priests, these two future prophets will also judge against God’s enemies who attack God’s servants, enemies who steal into the church or who attack from outside of Israel. During the first three and a half years of the beast’s reign, these two will warn, comfort, encourage and brighten the priesthood of Israel, making them ready to receive their Messiah again, ready to serve Jesus as loving examples to all the elect in the world.

The Revelation to John described these “two witnesses” or “two prophets” in the end times by stating: “These are the two olive trees and the two lampstands that stand before the Lord of the earth” (Rev. 11:4, ESV). This obviously refers to the two olive trees in the Messianic prophecy granted through Zechariah, although Zechariah’s prophecy only mentioned one lampstand with two olive trees. Here John focused on the two olive trees and called them “the two lampstands” because both trees fed fuel to lamp, which represents Israel’s priesthood. But Zechariah only focused on the lampstand between the two trees. John emphasized that the two olive trees were two men who will provided fuel for the light, while Zechariah emphasized that there will be one light from one lamp.

The Revelation’s “two lampstands” (αἱ δύο λυχνίαι) clearly referred to Zechariah’s prophecy. But there were “two branches of the olive trees, which are beside the two golden pipes from which the golden oil is poured out” (Zech. 4:5, ESV). So each of Zechariah’s two olive trees had a golden pipe that poured olive oil into the bowl of the lampstand between them. Thus, John’s Revelation focused on the two olive trees, which each had a golden pipe as a part of the lamp. John emphasized the two parts of the one lamp, that is, the two men that Zechariah’s vision identified as the two olive trees. In Zechariah’s prophecy, Zerubbabel, a governor and secular leader, was one, then Joshua, a high priest, was the other. But his focus remained on the lampstand between the two, since that lamp represented the light of Israel, God’s priesthood. And that lamp was a Menorah, the seven-branched lamp that God instructed Moses to build for His temple (see Ex. 25:31-40), which has been the symbol of Judaism and the priesthood of Israel for about three and a half millenniums. But John’s Revelation focused on how God chose and sent a secular ruler, Zerubbabel, who was much like Moses, and a priest, Joshua, who prepared the people to serve God, much like Elijah did. For God would also send the likes of Zerubbabel and Joshua during the end times, to lead Israel during the critical time of the beast’s occupation of Israel and to prepare Israel for the second advent of their Messiah. Thus, the two men in Zechariah’s Messianic prophecy were the “two witnesses” or “two prophets” that Jesus would send to Israel during the end times. And those two will have the spirits of Moses and Elijah.

But Joshua and Zerubbabel, who lived in Zechariah’s day, were not prophets. They did not proclaim God’s words precisely as God commanded their spirits to proclaim those words. But the biblical, conventional, symbolic imagery used by God in the vision granted to Zachariah indicates that the fuel for the complete and perfect light of this lamp must be words originating directly from God and spoken by His direct commands through true prophets. The perfect light from seven wicks in each of seven lamps on the lampstand, which drew oil out of one bowl suspended between two olive trees, represented a perfect and complete light from two biblical prophets. It cannot represent anything else. So it is clear that Zechariah saw two true prophets speak words that God Himself commanded them to speak. Then the Revelation states that the two olive trees are the two true prophets who will physically come to prophesy in the physical city of Jerusalem during the first half of a physical beast’s reign. God Himself identified these two as true prophets in His Revelation granted to John.

Also, think about how the Angel wondered why Zechariah did not know who these two olive trees were. That Angel, who is Jesus, seemed to think that Zechariah should actually recognize who these two olive trees were. And Zechariah actually did know, but simply could not accept that these two prophets were the men whom he thought they were, that is, Moses and Elijah, since both of those

prophets had been taken up into heaven long before Zechariah walked the earth. And the rest of his prophecy centered on Joshua and Zerubbabel, living contemporaries of Zechariah. So Zechariah assumed the two olive trees represented those two men. But those two men actually represented the two olive trees in Zechariah’s vision. Zerubbabel and Joshua were symbols of Moses and Elijah, not the two olive trees in his vision. Otherwise, the Angel would have said that the two olive trees were Zerubbabel and Joshua. Therefore, the only reason Zechariah had to ask the Angel to identify the two olive trees three times, yet did not dare to ask if they represented Joshua and Zerubbabel, must be because Zechariah knew the two olive trees did not actually represent not Joshua and Zerubbabel.

Zechariah knew the two olive trees represented two prophets, even two prophets that he recognized, because the concepts that God’s Holy Spirit poured into his spirit’s mind caused him to recognize the two prophets. However, Zechariah’s mind of flesh could not believe that Moses and Elijah would come again in the days before the Messiah’s glorious second advent. I repeat, the Angel seemed to think that Zechariah knew who the two olive trees represented, because the Angel twice asked Zechariah, “Do you not know?” This also implies that this Angel is Jesus, since this Angel knew the thoughts of Zechariah’s heart and spirit, in a way that no ordinary angel could, in a way that only God could know. So, in context, we find it to be very unlikely that these two olive trees represented Joshua and Zerubbabel. And the Revelation confirms that the two olive trees were not Joshua and Zerubbabel. The two olive trees were Elijah and Moses, coming to guide and teach Israel during a time of extreme trouble, while Satan’s world order was trying to extinguish God’s light in Israel.

In parts of Zechariah’s prophecy about Joshua and the people with him (in about 519 BC), God told Zechariah that all his people were “a sign: behold, I will bring My servant the Branch” (3:8). So the elect Jews at that time, and the building the second temple, were a sign of future Messianic times, when the Branch would come to rule the earth and restore Israel. They were a sign of both the first and second coming of Jesus. And, actually, all elect Jews in history, collectively, have been a “sign” of the Messiah, of the salvation of the earth by the loving Creator God. The whole reason God had established His nation of Israel through Abraham, was to be a blessing to the whole world, as His priesthood for the whole world, to more directly serve the Savior of all the elect in the whole world.

Also, all true prophets sent to Israel were olive trees, providing the oil which served as the fuel for God’s light pouring into and out of the hearts of His people. The prophets Moses and Elijah were two of these olive trees. And Zechariah knew both Moses and Elijah well. In a way, Zechariah knew Moses and Elijah better than he knew Joshua and Zerubbabel, his contemporaries. For Zechariah would have spent countless hours reading and pondering the words and deeds of Moses and Elijah. Zechariah would have spent enough time dwelling on their words and deeds to become extremely familiar with their inner thoughts and prayers. This is why the Angel, Jesus, asked Zechariah why he did not know who the two olive trees were. For Zechariah did know them, but it seems as though his mind of flesh did not believe these two prophets of the past could somehow come again in the future.

Elijah and Moses partly fulfilled Zechariah’s prophecy about standing “by the Lord of the whole earth” when they stood beside the Messiah Jesus at His transfiguration (Mat. 17:1-13; Mark 9:2-13; Luke 9:28-36). Elijah’s spirit was also the spirit of life in John the Baptizer, who taught and judged the people of Israel to prepare them for His first advent in the first century. And they will complete the fulfillment of both Zechariah’s prophecy and the Revelation’s prophecy when they come again to Jerusalem, in the days before Jesus returns. The Revelation confirms that Zechariah’s prophecy about the two olive trees and the lampstand is about the second advent of the Messiah, Jesus, and that Moses and Elijah are those two olive trees. So the two prophets in Jerusalem, during the first three and a half years of the beast’s reign, will be born with the spirits of Moses and Elijah in them,

and will utter truths that their spirits receive directly from God. They will lead and prepare Israel, even all the world, for their Savior and Messiah Jesus, while also prophesying God’s plagues against those who oppose God’s truth and justice. And remember how the symbolic events of Zechariah’s day gave hope to Israel, a hope for their Messiah. So too will Moses and Elijah give this hope again.

 

End of Great Prostitute and False Shepherds

The Great Prostitute was born near the end of the first century, at the beginning of the last days and during the era of the first seal. We also saw the reason she was called “great,” that is, in the eyes of Satan’s world order. For she (1) was the first, largest and most influential false church; (2) would spawn many other spiritual prostitutes throughout history, as her daughter false humanistic churches; and (3) she would be worse than all those other spiritual prostitutes. Thus, God’s prophecy about the Great Prostitute told us that she would be the largest, oldest, and best breeder of other false churches in history, the most renowned among all false churches in history. Now contrast her with God’s true church, His faithful “bride.” God only created one true church in all history, His priesthood of Israel, which is the body of our one and only God Jesus, and consists only of the awakened, loving, just, true elect. Nor did God ever abandon and replace His original church of Israel which He created once through Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. Rather, God came in the body of Jesus to build it up eternally through His New Covenant salvation. God never made various “kinds” of churches, each with its own name and denomination, each engaging in “healthy competition” with the other to steal more tithing members, each with its own self-seeking human heads looking seeking ways to fund themselves. Yet the Great Prostitute and her daughters are widely varied and constantly changing, since they were created by many human gods who forced their churches to conform to their own unstable and erratic images, and also had to constantly alter their carnal lies to combat any truths which escaped into the public. Then, as new powers rose up throughout history, the Great Prostitute and her daughters had to find new ways to prostitute themselves, so those powers would allow them to ride on their backs, so those powers would pay them money and grant them the power to deceive.

Of course, Jesus will keep His true church alive with Him for all eternity. Therefore, He will need to destroy the Great Prostitute and her daughter churches eventually. For she and her daughters will never repent, since their human creators and leaders are the non-elect who bear no ability to repent into the truth through just and God-like love. So Jesus will have to stop all her unrepentant sins by annihilating her and her daughters, to keep His elect safe from her evil corrupting influence and murderous ways. And, once the Great Prostitute dies, all her daughters will die too, for she is their vanguard. That is, only if the Great Prostitute’s humanistic ways and lies continue, without being exposed and burned away by the light of God and His one true church, can her daughters continue in her humanistic ways and lies. So, when the mother dies, so will her daughters. The only thing we are not told and do not know is that, after the great revival of God’s true church during the sixth seal’s era, will her fake daughter churches die before she has been destroyed, or just after she has died?

Near the end of the beast's seven-year reign, just before seven angels pour out the seven bowls of wrath on the beast’s kingdom, that beast will turn against the false church of the Great Prostitute, who had been sitting on his back. For the beast always hated his close cousin, the false church of theistic humanists of the Great Prostitute, since the beast prefers Satan’s pure secular humanism, although he gained power and pleasure through Great Prostitute. So the beast will burn the Great Prostitute as soon as he realizes that she is no longer useful to him, and that his own demise is imminent. The beast will not touch her before this, since he will hope to revive her usefulness to himself. Rather, the beast will only slaughter truly elect Christians and Jews. But, when he finally

sees that all hope of deceiving the elect through the Great Prostitute is gone, his budget and other practical considerations will prompt him to kill her. Yet this will not be a very unpopular decision.

It seems that many of the beast’s own people began to worship him through the preaching of the Great Prostitute and her daughters, in much the same way that many worshiped Hitler, Mussolini and Trump through their spiritually prostituting false churches. Thus, many of the beast’s people will mourn her demise, especially businessmen who grew rich by partaking in her selfish, blasphemous deeds. And this mourning of so many of the beast’s people is what reveals the real reason for the beast’s toleration of the Prostitute until this time. The only reason the beast and his secular humanists will not destroy the Great Prostitute before that time will be because the beast will receive benefits from her, namely her lying endorsements and income. Throughout history, Satan’s world order has treated false churches in the same way that “pimps” treat their prostitutes, as a commodity which provides income and pleasures for them. Pimps beat and constantly threaten their prostitutes, but keep them alive enough to keep serving them. Likewise, the secular rulers in Satan’s world order have done the same with false churches. For false churches help the rulers of Satan’s world order seduce the people, so that those covetous rulers can then exploit the people for pleasure and profit.

Revelation 17:15-18 (ESV): “And the angel said to me, ‘The waters that you saw, where the

prostitute is seated, are peoples and multitudes and nations and languages. And the ten horns

that you saw, they and the beast will hate the prostitute. They will make her [the Great

Prostitute] desolate and naked, and devour her flesh and burn her up with fire , for God has

put it into their hearts to carry out His purpose by being of one mind and handing over their

royal power to the beast, until the words of God are fulfilled. And the woman that you saw is

the great city that has dominion over the kings of the earth.'”

The ecclesiastical language of the Jews and apostolic church sometimes referred to the masses on earth, particularly those swayed by the winds of false teachings and the ways of Satan’s world order, as large bodies of “waters” (oceans or seas). For most were driven by the currents of circumstances and tossed by the winds of false doctrines invented by manipulators. The angel confirmed this when he told John: “The waters that you saw, where the prostitute is seated, are peoples and multitudes and nations and languages” (17:15). Thus, this means the Great Prostitute is a world-wide church “seated” on international “waters,” influencing and manipulating many “peoples and multitudes and nations and languages,” masses of souls from all over the world. People from everywhere blindly follow her doctrines, the kinds of people who “go with the flow,” love the security of numbers, want someone else to think for them, and do not like to “rock the boat” by daring to believe and follow the truths found in God's just, equitable, loving Word. Many of them are God’s elect, who have not yet been awakened and called into His true church but, at times, God’s Holy Spirit does convict and teach their spirits to truly love. Yet the effective leadership of the Great Prostitute and all of her humanistic daughter churches, the ones who create and maintain her traditions and teachings, are all Satan’s preferred non-elect brood. Thus, there is no hope of ever reviving those spiritual prostitutes.

Then the angel told John, “the ten horns that you saw, they and the beast will hate the prostitute. They will make her desolate and naked, and devour her flesh and burn her up with fire, for God has put it into their hearts to carry out His purpose by being of one mind and handing over their royal power to the beast, until the words of God are fulfilled” (17:16-17, ESV). The “ten horns” are the ten rulers of the seven nations in the beast's kingdom, and are willingly completely manipulated by the beast. Of course, by the time they destroy the Great Prostitute, which will be near the very end of the beast’s seven-year reign, only seven of those rulers shall remain, although the other three might hold positions of power elsewhere in the beast’s administration. The beast and these rulers will be secular

humanists and, therefore, will hate theistic humanists in the false churches, in the Great Prostitute and her harlot daughters. And notice how the beast, and consequently the other ten rulers, are also unwillingly and unconsciously manipulated by God. For it is God who “puts it into their hearts to carry out His purpose,” and God’s purpose is to destroy the Great Prostitute and her harlot daughters, even all who strive to deceive His elect children. It is God who makes the ten rulers worship the beast, so they become “of one mind” and use their “royal power” to serve the beast, even until God’s prophecies about the Great Prostitute have been “fulfilled.” For not even their owner and master, who is Satan, can always do what he wants, since his will is also limited, controlled and manipulated by our omniscient Creator God. In the end, no spirit or flesh on earth has any kind of a “free will.”

God’s judgments are first directed against the false churches and against all the individuals who falsely claim to speak or act in His name, or who falsely associate themselves with Him and His people in some way, while continuing to lie and sin without repentance (I Pet. 4:17-19). For sinners falsely associating themselves with God not only break the natural laws, summarized by the last six of the Ten Commandments, like secular souls do. False Judeo-Christian religions also break the more spiritual laws of worship, summarized by the first four of the Ten Commandments, and partially by the fifth commandment too. That is, false churches break the laws which govern man’s relationship with God. For they serve and esteem human gods, money and other gods more than the one true God, and make decisions based on the demands of those other gods rather than on the will and teachings of our God Jesus. Then they create those other gods and bow before them, worshiping them instead of the real God. They also teach false doctrines and give false prophecies in the names of the real God, slandering His names as they apply them in vainity. And, because of all of this, their spirits can never enter His eternal Sabbath rest from their own selfish, loveless, destructive slavery.

Thus, in the eyes of God, false Christians and false Jews are far worse than other sinners, worse than secular sinners. For they are not ignorant of His words, but intentionally corrupt or nullify the just, wise and loving teachings of God. So God will judge, condemn and destroy them first. Likewise, God considers decision-making authorities to be more culpable for their lies and sins than common people, since they have access to more information and cannot plead ignorance as an excuse. So God will also judge and condemn the liars and sinners among them first, with greater condemnation, far more than common sinners. But the false churches are the worst of all liars and sinners, so God will destroy those vile deceivers, who intensionally slander His name, first, even before He destroys the Satan-controlled beast. Then God will destroy the other deluded, lying, sinning souls in his kingdom.

Anyone who truly knows God’s Word can see that the Prostitute’s sin of teaching false doctrines in God’s name, as though her lies came from God, is a far greater sin than murder, since those false doctrines very often, either directly or indirectly, cause sins like murder, even mass murders. They lead to wars and the murdering of countless souls who speak truths from God, as well as masses of innocent souls who are actually far more loving and more approved by God than the popes and other human gods worshipped in those fake churches. Also, lest we forget, the seemingly benign false doctrine about God replacing the Jewish Israel with a new Gentile church, has frequently led to the hatred, persecution, plundering and murdering of countless Jews throughout the history of the Great Prostitute, all falsely in the name of God. And this antisemitism of the Great Prostitute was the root cause of the Nazi Holocaust in Europe. All false doctrines cause sins, including the worst of sins, like idol worship, a hatred of salvation, and the loss of God’s healing in the world, leading to chaos, destruction and death. For all God’s teachings and laws are integrated into one Word, revealing the attributes of God. Thus, none of His laws or teachings are irrelevant or non-essential. None should ever be corrupted or nullified by false teachers or false prophets, so the resulting sins destroy people.

Now, clearly, it is the man called the beast, together all ten rulers of his kingdom, who make this decision to slaughter the Great Prostitute, although it is God who ultimately allows them to do this, and actually causes them “to carry out His purpose.” So these wicked rulers and their wicked people are spiritually and mentally manipulated by God, and used as His agents to carry out His judgment against this false church. God will do this in the same way He once manipulated and used the pagan Assyrians and pagan Babylonians, whose slave societies murdered, plundered, tortured and exploited innocent souls, to destroy His church of Israel when they became a corrupt spiritual prostitute, when they taught false doctrines and gave false prophecies in His names. For God considers those pagans, who only commit sins against His natural laws, to be less culpable than any false church who possesses His revealed truths yet lies and sins in His name, breaking His greater spiritual laws.

Since the false church did not repent, He handed them over to their delusions and eventually gave them over to destruction by unbelievers. In particular, God caused their pagan “lovers,” whom they served the most, to destroy them. Indirectly, it was the pagan demon gods whom those false churches worshipped, together with those pagans, who ultimately destroyed them, since God allowed those demons to stir up the pagans against His false church of Israel. For instance, when Israel worshipped Assyrian gods and refused to repent, God called her a “prostitute” (e.g., Jer. 2:20; Ezek. 6:9; 16:15-17, et al.; Hos. 4:15; 5:3; Micah 1:7), then caused Assyria to destroy her. And, when Israel’s “sister” Judah and Jerusalem took up the ways of Babylon and did not repent, God called her a “prostitute” too (e.g., Jer. 3:87; Nahum 3:4), then caused Babylon to destroy her. Now the Great Prostitute is another false church that rides on the back of the beast, who adopted the beast’s Roman humanistic doctrines and worships human gods who are like the beast. So God calls her a spiritual “prostitute” as well, then will then cause that Satanically controlled beast’s kingdom, her “lover,” to destroy her.

Revelation 18:1-24 (ESV): “After this I saw another angel coming down from heaven,

having great authority, and the earth was made bright with his glory. And he called out with a

mighty voice, ‘Fallen, fallen is Babylon the great! She has become a dwelling place for

demons, a haunt for every unclean spirit, a haunt for every unclean bird, a haunt for every

unclean and detestable beast. For all nations have drunk the wine of the passion of her sexual

immorality, and the kings of the earth have committed immorality with her, and the

merchants of the earth have grown rich from the power of her luxurious living.’

“Then I heard another voice from heaven saying, 'Come out of her, My people, lest you take

part in her sins, lest you share in her plagues; for her sins are heaped high as heaven, and God

has remembered her iniquities. Pay her back as she herself has paid back others, and repay

her double for her deeds; mix a double portion for her in the cup she mixed. As she glorified

herself and lived in luxury, so give her a like measure of torment and mourning, since in her

heart she says, 'I sit as a queen, I am no widow, and mourning I shall never see.' For this

reason her plagues will come in a single day, death and mourning and famine, and she will be

burned up with fire; for mighty is the Lord God who has judged her.’

“And the kings of the earth, who committed sexual immorality and lived in luxury with her,

will weep and wail over her when they see the smoke of her burning. They will stand far off,

in fear of her torment, and say, ‘Alas! Alas! You great city, you mighty city, Babylon! For in a

single hour your judgment has come.’ And the merchants of the earth weep and mourn for

her, since no one buys their cargo anymore, cargo of gold, silver, jewels, pearls, fine linen,

purple cloth, silk, scarlet cloth, all kinds of scented wood, all kinds of articles of ivory, all

kinds of articles of costly wood, bronze, iron and marble, cinnamon, spice, incense, myrrh,

frankincense, wine, oil, fine flour, wheat, cattle and sheep, horses and chariots, and slaves,

that is, human souls. 'The fruit for which your soul longed has gone from you, and all your

delicacies and your splendors are lost to you, never to be found again!’

“The merchants of these wares, who gained wealth from her, will stand far off, in fear of her

torment, weeping and mourning aloud, ‘Alas, alas, for the great city that was clothed in fine

linen, in purple and scarlet, adorned with gold, with jewels, and with pearls! For in a single

hour all this wealth has been laid waste.’ And all shipmasters and seafaring men, sailors and

all whose trade is on the sea, stood far off and cried out as they saw the smoke of her

burning, ‘What city was like the great city?’ And they threw dust on their heads as they wept

and mourned, crying out, 'Alas, alas, for the great city where all who had ships at sea grew

rich by her wealth! For in a single hour she has been laid waste.’

“Rejoice over her, O heaven, and you saints and apostles and prophets, for God has given

judgment for you against her! Then a mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone and

threw it into the sea, saying, ‘So will Babylon the great city be thrown down with violence,

and will be found no more; and the sound of harpists and musicians, of flute players and

trumpeters, will be heard in you no more, and a craftsman of any craft will be found in you

no more, and the sound of the mill will be heard in you no more, and the light of a lamp will

shine in you no more, and the voice of bridegroom and bride will be heard in you no more,

for your merchants were the great ones of the earth, and all nations were deceived by your

sorcery. And in her was found the blood of prophets and of saints, and of all who have been

slain on earth.’”

This other angel, or messenger sent by God, seems to be an angel of the true church that was sealed and revived during the sixth-seal’s era, since this messenger came “down from heaven, having great authority, and the earth was made bright with his glory.” For, by this time, the true would now be shining gloriously, in spiritual robes of inner righteousness, just before Jesus physically returns. In fact, this messenger may even be Jesus. Thus, the brightness of this angel, with his authority from God, has a right to condemn “Babylon the Great,” which is the false church also called the Great Prostitute. It took about 700 to 900 years to establish this Satanic humanistic false church and its “great” and “mighty” city, the Vatican in Rome. It began its corruptions of God’s priesthood of Israel even before the Babylonian captivity, and completed its perfectly evil fake church by the 2nd or 3rd century AD. But, by the time it will be burned, the stark contrast between that demonic false church and God’s loving, just, equitable, true church will be extreme, and that Roman church will find it utterly impossible to justify its lies and sins before God. By then, its empty rhetoric will be silenced.

The darkening power of the false church of Babylon, where Babylon was another name for its fourth kingdom of the Roman Empire and Rome’s Great Prostitute, will be destroyed by fire, both literal fire and the spiritual fire of unfulfilled desires from its delusions. For the Great Prostitute always suppressed, censured, oppressed, corrupted and nullified the light of God's truth. But, after the day of fire, she will never again be able to do so. Nor will her harlot daughters, the Protestant churches that took up her humanistic teachings and ways. No elect will be deceived by her or by them ever again.

Some may still think the Roman Catholic church is innocent, that it is even a legitimate church of God, simply because she recites the Nicene Creed, mentions God’s names often, and sometimes helps those whom she helped to make poor through the psychopathic colonialism it condoned and profited from. But, no, even in Babylonian times, that Great Prostitute became “a dwelling place for demons, a haunt for every unclean spirit.” And that honest, wise angel, who saw all of its entire history, even emphasized this by repeating this statement in another form, by saying she was “a

haunt for every unclean bird, a haunt for every unclean and detestable beast.” In ecclesiastical language, “unclean bird” was a figurative term for a demon, and an “unclean and detestable beast” is the worst kind of human sinner, the kind who uses God’s name and His Word to deceive and make a profit for oneself, the kind who breaks the first four of the Ten Commands, as well as all the others.

This indicates the evil spiritual nature of the Great Prostitute. Here she is simply called “Babylon.” Yet, several times, the Revelation clearly stated that she sits upon Rome, in the fourth kingdom of Daniel’s beast, whose golden head will always be Babylon. And, clearly, this Great Prostitute is not a secular, non-religious entity. She is a great demonic and unclean spiritual or religious entity, that is, a very ancient, world-wide, wealthy and powerful false church, with roots going back all the way to Babylon. All forms of humanism are demonic religions, both its secular and theistic sects. But not all its sects can claim that “all nations have drunk the wine of the passion of her [spiritual] immorality,” like the Roman Catholics can. Nor can all sects claim that “the kings of the earth have committed immorality with her,” like the Roman Catholics can. Many humanistic sects might be able to claim that “the merchants of the earth have grown rich from the power of her luxurious living,” but not nearly as much nor as long as the Roman Catholic church can. For merchants have been gaining wealth from the fake humanistic churches since Babylonian times, as they did when that false church controlled the Jewish temple during Jesus’ first advent, forcing our God to drive them out of His house of prayer with whips. Then the central authorities of the Roman Catholic church also paved the way for merchants to exploit Europe, the Americas, Africa, Asia and everywhere else on earth.

We should note that the ESV actually contains a poor translation of πορνεία in this demonic spiritual and religious context. For here πορνεία clearly does not refer to a physical “sexual immorality.” It is obviously used in its common figurative sense here, referring to her spiritual adultery, the kinds of greater spiritual sins involving the idolatry of worshiping human gods and teaching false doctrines in God’s name, the kinds of sins most loved by demons and ungodly souls. For this is why she was called the “Great Prostitute” and the “mother of harlots,” although there certainly was also plenty of sexual immorality among her and her daughter churches as well, even church brothels for the priests.

Also, since this Great Prostitute commits [spiritual] immorality with the “kings of the earth,” with the secular governments of the earth, then this is saying that she is not a secular governing power herself. Rather, she is corrupter of their laws and morals, since all laws and morals are entirely spiritual, based on spiritual values, never on physical demands, since even the value of life itself is not a physical principle, only a spiritual one. Thus, this too indicates that this “Great Prostitute” is a false church, who commits spiritual immorality with secular powers. Obviously she is a false church that gets involved in secular affairs with secular powers, just like God’s true church does, but in a corrupt way. Again, this is speaking about spiritual fornication, the false church's involvement in corrupting secular powers. This Roman false church used was used by secular powers to do evil.

And the Roman Catholic church has indeed always been a very strong corrupting influence among secular governing powers, has always helped deceptive, oppressive and psychopathic rulers exploit and manipulate souls, always caused their people to submit to the vile works of greedy, ruthless despots. Those secular “rulers of the earth” received the sacraments of forgiveness for their murders and crimes without needing to truly repent and bear fruits of repentance, sometimes even before they committed their horrifying sins. And those Catholics, as well as their daughter churches, actually loved those evil rulers, then worshiped them as their own human gods, and also worshipped the same demons those secular rulers worshiped too, including Mammon and the gods of war. Then that fake church, and her harlot daughters even falsely claimed to worship the biblical God as they did all this.

Notice that this angel makes a special mention of how this false church has always striven to become rich and powerful in Satan's world order, through the merchants she supported. It says “she glorified herself and lived in luxury,” which is something many of her harlot daughter churches also learned to do. And all that luxury came through the exploitation of her people, which is why this angel said: “so give her like measure of torment and mourning,” for all that she caused for others throughout the many centuries. Most false churches have pastors who seek a worldly, luxurious lifestyle, because they are true citizens of Satan’s world order, not citizens of God’s kingdom. Only the awakened true elect seek a simple, basic, godly life, with an emphasis on loving and being loved. The non-elect “leaders” and wanna-be gods of fake churches want nothing to do with a godly abundant life, nor with the true eternal Sabbath rest of God from selfish ambitions, lies and sins, with God’s rewards.

One of the principal concerns of false churches is to maintain their elite ruling class, with its ability to exploit others for personal gain. But the real Jesus teaches His true elect that the earth, and all upon it, belongs to God alone. So our main concern is to benefit Him and His just, loving kingdom on earth, even all His living creations. Then Jesus fulfills all God’s law in us and through us, where that law forbids usury, exploitation and all forms of inequality or injustice. So all true worshippers of God are expected to serve as mere stewards of God's property. And their duty to the Owner of all things, using whatever is given over to their stewardship to care for the earth and all who are upon it, to the best of their ability, praying for God’s hand to support their works as they train to love. They learn to cooperate with each other in fulfilling this good purpose, rather than compete. Together, as the body of Jesus, they serve the needy and all creations for their good, providing all with all they need for a physical and spiritually abundant life, leaving the delusions of wealth and luxury to die, knowing that no one has a right to indulge in selfish luxuries at the expense of siblings in our family.

After the angel of light said these things, John heard another sound, the voice of God from heaven, commanding His elect: “Come out of her My people, lest you take part in her sins, lest you share in her plagues; for her sins are heaped high as heaven, and God has remembered her iniquities. Pay her back as she herself has paid back others, and repay her double for her deeds; mix a double portion for her in the cup she mixed” (Rev. 18:4-6, ESV). Although the entire core of the Roman Catholic church’s doctrinal foundation is demonic humanism, straight from Satan’s four religious kingdoms, there are still many elect trapped in her by its emotional, systematic, rhetorical, physically secure and carnally appealing deceptions. Some of these loving, just elect have even become priests and nuns who serve that wicked false church and its wanna-be human gods. But most of the elect taken captive by the Great Prostitute are duped and simple souls. And this command of God, telling those elect to flee from that fake church, before she is about to be punished by fire, reveals that some of God's loving elect people will still remain in that evil church until shortly before her destruction.

It is easy to remain in a false church when you are blinded by her lies, when peaceful people in nice clothes are sitting in pews all around you, listening to stirring music and a human god uttering fine-sounding words about God and other positive-sounding delusions, with warnings about leaving the security of their church’s artificial and superficial greatness. For those fake churches never like to reveal anything about how their core doctrines lead to wars, persecutions, exploitations and deaths of countless innocent souls, nor how those same false teachings have caused horrors for millenniums.

Many elect will be deceived by the Great Prostitute and her harlot daughter churches even after the great sealing and revival in the era of sixth seal, and remain in those churches after that. Many elect will partake in her sins, even until just before God destroys the mother of all false churches, along with all her harlot daughters. But, just before God burns them all to the ground, God will command those deluded elect to leave those fake churches. And, with that command, God will provide an

awakening of their spirits, a pouring of true concepts and revelations into the minds of their spirits, knowledge and understanding beyond the capacity of their infantile spirits to reach through their own wills or capacities. Events will occur in that false church which will expose her lies and sins, to confirm what the Holy Spirit is teaching to their spirits, and those elect will indeed come out of her at that time, suddenly and en masse. And this time, they will be able to walk directly into the true church that God revived for that generation during the sixth seal’s era. In our day, if some leave the Great Prostitute, they often go to one of harlot daughters, and remain as empty and lost as they were to begin with, or worse. But there will be good refuge for the elect when they leave her at that time.

Even today, we see many loving elect attending false churches. But they are usually the ones who keep their heads down and do not see the politics and power struggles of their deceivers. The elect are most often those that live simple and loving lives, which the church uses as advertisements to bolster their fake reputation as a true church, although the blood and hearts of those false churches are entirely wicked. Yes, a few elect become deluded enough to believe their false churches serve the real God, and even become teachers of the destructive doctrines of those churches. Yet a time will come when God will finally call those elect spirits out of those institutions of Satan’s world order, and remove all their blinding deceptions. And, for many of them, He will do this mere weeks before Jesus returns to destroy the beast at Armageddon, when God causes the beast to destroy those liars.

But this timing of God is puzzling. It leaves us to ask how the elect could be deceived by Great Prostitute while, at the same time, they are obviously not worshiping the secular beast nor wearing his mark on their hands or foreheads, and cannot buy and sell goods in order to survive in the beast’s lands, even while the beast is killing all the elect who refuse to wear that mark? For the Scriptures indicate that none of the elect will receive the mark of the beast. And literally all of those whom God will call out of the Great Prostitute will be His elect children, since God calls them all “My people.”

This almost forces us to conclude that the beast will not require the people in the false church of the Great Prostitute to wear the mark of his name. The beast must initially provide a religious exemption for them, since most of the souls in the false church will actually serve and worship the beast in word and deed anyway, by adhering to all his laws and ways, even by betraying the elect existing outside of their own false church. But they will still want to pretend that they worship God more than him, for the sake of religious appearances. Most members of this great false church will be the non-elect, with spirits born of Satan's spirit, and will actually worship the beast far more than they worship God, just as they have worshiped Hitler, Trump and other Satanic wanna-be gods in our time. But some will actually be deceived elect souls, just as their are deceived elect souls in every false church today. Still, since the official policy of their false churches is that they worship God above all other gods. So the beast will see this and likely will allow the people of the Great Prostitute to remain exempt from the demand to worship him by putting the mark of his name on their foreheads or hands. This also means the beast will give the false church some of its own autonomous authority, just as the Vatican now has in Italy and Rome. The Great Prostitute will maintain its own economy which freely trades with the beast’s kingdom, and will be able to provide all that its hypocritical people want or need. And the only reason the beast would do this would be because the members of this false church will be humanists like him, with doctrines that are comfortably compatible with his.

So the people of the Great Prostitute will worship the beast in spirit and in lies, but not with an open declaration of their faith in the beast, and will not honestly admit that they actually do worship the beast as their god. Thus, the Great Prostitute will be able to buy or sell without the mark of the beast, through their own separate economy. Thus, the future state of the Great Prostitute will not be much different during the time of the beast than it is now, autonomous like the Vatican city is in our day,

with its own economy, set apart from the other economic systems in the rest of Europe. She must remain so. Otherwise there is no way to explain how some elect will remain in her, untouched and yet able to survive during the beast’s three and a half years of persecuting all the other unmarked elect in his land, since the elect in the Great Prostitute also will not worship him by wearing the mark of his name. But, since there will be some truly loving elect in that false church, some will be brave enough and loving enough to hide and feed some of the elect from outside of their own fake church.

So why does the beast suddenly turn against the false church of the Great Prostitute? Could it be because some of the loving elect trapped in that fake church will be hiding elect Jews and the awakened elect from the true revived church among them, but the Roman church cannot stop them from doing so? Thus, will God put it in the beast’s heart to demand that all members of that Great Prostitute must now worship him by wearing his name or the number of his name on their foreheads or on their hands? And will the Vatican refuse to do so and incite the beast’s wrath against them? If we look back at history, we can see how the human gods of autocratic humanistic states have always reacted in such ways, murdering all who do not gratify their idiosyncratic demands and lusts of the flesh, inventing excuses for their crimes by saying that those harmless things threaten their nations.

We must also must conclude that the Great Prostitute will be a false church, since God must first call His elect people out of her before her destruction, which implies that the elect trapped in her through her deceptions will somehow think they are worshipping the real God while they remain in her, even until mere weeks before Jesus returns. Of course, these elect clearly will not actually put on the mark of the beast’s name, since literally all whom Satan causes to wear that mark will go to hell (e.g., Rev. 14:9-11). However, these elect in the false church of the Great Prostitute will worship humans, and even the beast, since they will be humanists if they are members of the Great Prostitute. For the Great Prostitute and her harlot daughters expel members who are not humanists, who do not worship the elite fake priests and pastors within their man-made hierarchies. Still, at the same time, the false church will lie and delude these elect into thinking they are worshipping God above all other gods.

So the elect in the Great Prostitute will tolerate the false church in ignorance, until the Holy Spirit of Jesus calls and awakens their spirits, to remove them from her midst. Then even the non-elect among the Great Prostitute’s members may stubbornly insist that they should not be required to wear the beast’s mark to buy or sell goods and services, since their false church sits on the back of the beast and conforms to his laws and ways. So the beast will eventually regret his lack of complete despotic control over them and decide to murder them all, then burn their Vatican city to the ground. It does not say this is what happens anywhere in the Scriptures, but it does seem plausible and quite likely.

So, when God calls His elect out of her, just before the day of her demise, not one of those members of the Great Prostitute, neither the elect or the non-elect in her, would be wearing the mark to signify that they worship the beast as their highest and only god. And the only way the members of the Great Prostitute could get away with not placing the beast’s mark on themselves is if she was a false, humanistic church which, at first, appeased the beast by faithfully obeying his laws and ways, that is, until something made the beast suspect that they were betraying him. Certainly the beast will not allow any secular entity in his secular kingdom to get away with not worshipping him as their chief god, and not wearing the mark of his name. Only a humanistic church, which pretends to worship a higher god than the beast, but actually does worship the beast—in a way that causes the beast to hate her yet tolerate her—could get away with such a thing, and only if it is more profitable for the beast to leave that hypocritical church alone, so that false church can maintain trade with the beast’s kingdom. So the Great Prostitute will be a humanistic church, since the humanistic beast would only tolerate humanists who worship him as their god, at least in reality, even if they hypocritically claim

that they worship God more than him. For the beast will only kill pure theists from the revived true Christian church and devout Jews, but will tolerate theistic humanists who indirectly worship him.

Remember that God's elect can live by the flesh, with sleeping spirits, and many do this all their lives. Aside from a few brief moments, the elect can look and feel no different than the non-elect, whose spirits were born of Satan. So it is possible for the elect to be a part of the Great Prostitute, or any other religion, all their lives, without feeling God’s calling to flee to the real Jesus. And even the awakened elect can live in any physical land of any evil secular ruler, yet remain God's property and faithful to God. In fact, God actually commands some of His awakened elect to enter some very evil secular lands to do His works there, to evangelize and to gather His elect children together within those nations. But here God is not merely calling all His elect “out of” a physical land, but out of a false church, which is a world-wide spiritual prostitute. So the elect in all the world will come out of her at that time, and out of her harlot daughter churches at the same time, since all her daughters will practice at least some of their mother’s humanistic traditions as will. God has never indicated that He would ever call His Gentile elect out of their homelands, and these people will be His Gentile elect.

Here God’s prophecy declares that He will call “My people” out of a false church, out of this Great Prostitute, lest they “take part in her sins” and suffer His wrath against her sins. He calls them out to repent from the lies and iniquities of that false church, into the truths that He revealed in all of His creations and in His Book, into His true and revived church of Israel. Since God is calling their spirits to leave a spiritually evil deceiver, so they will not partake in her spiritual evil, the Great Prostitute cannot be a physical, secular land, and not merely the Vatican city. For God only ever universally calls all His Gentile elect “out of” false churches and away from false teachers, lest they partake in the sins of those deceivers (e.g., Mat. 15:14; Rom. 16:17; I Cor. 5:11; II Thes. 3:6; II Tim. 3:5; Titus 3:10). God may call some individual elect souls to go to foreign lands, or to leave foreign lands, but He seldom calls all the elect in a land to leave it, although those in the Vatican city, which will be burned to ground, will likely need to leave that land. But here God is clearly calling all His elect around the world to come out of that world-wide false church, not just out of her Vatican city.

Thus, even though the beast will burn down the city of the Great Prostitute, we must conclude that God calls all the elect on earth to abandon that false church, not merely her physical lands. She is a false church sitting upon the secular nations belonging to the beast, that is, upon or beside the beast’s city of Rome. But God is calling all His elect to come out of the whole of that false church, to cast aside her sins, including the lies of her false doctrines. Of course, some say that the elect could never become deceived by a false church in this way, since they believe that Jesus promised that His elect would never be deceived. Yet, did He really promise that? In Matthew 24:24, Jesus simply said, “false christs and false prophets will arise and perform great signs and wonders, so as to lead astray, if possible, even the elect” (ESV). And none will lead astray the awakened elect who are His true and mature disciples, like the apostles were. Yet even Peter was once deceived by the circumcision heresy. And Jesus did not say that absolutely none of His elect would be deceived at any time by anyone. In fact, the Scriptures actually say the opposite, that literally all of the elect will begin life as sinners, which means being deceived, and all the elect “once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit who now works in the children of disobedience. We also all once lived among them in the lusts of our flesh, doing the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, even as the rest” (Eph. 2:2-3, WEB).

Now consider how easy it is for God's elect to be deceived into becoming members of false churches today. Any church that falsely claims to worship God through false teachings that they falsely claim to have originated from God’s Word seems acceptable to the vast majority of the elect. For most of

their spirits are almost entirely asleep. And, with dull, lethargic spirits, they learn almost nothing from the Holy Spirit of Jesus. They remain so ignorant that almost any fool can fool them. But it has never been easy for secular nations to deceive elect spirits enough to cause their spirits to entirely abandon and denounce their God, to become entirely loveless, although some come very close, with nothing but a small, hidden, glowing ember left in their hearts. Their amoral and self-seeking flesh can easily forsake God. But their lethargic spirits were born with an indestructible knowledge of their Father in heaven, and His Holy Spirit does not forsake the teaching of their spirits. So their spirits keep waking up at various times, causing them to trust their Father again, if only for a few moments, until their minds of flesh return them to the irrational folly of the devil’s world order.

So the elect can never fully and spiritually worship evil men like the beast, or let their spirits follow all of the teachings of the secular or theistic humanists who overtly and continuously slander God. For none of the elect can actually deny the existence of God in their spirits, in their very hearts, even as their minds of flesh can. All the elect have moments of doubt about atheistic materialism, from their spirits. Their minds of flesh can be easily deceived through the false reasoning and emotional appeals of either secular humanists or humanistic preachers that falsely claim to worship God. But, even if an elect is deceived for a time, the spirit inside the chamber of that elect one’s soul will continuously grieve and often pull one’s thoughts back to the real God. For the immutable attributes created by God in elect spirits always remain what they were created to be, and their elect spirits cannot ever be transformed into non-elect spirits. They always remain God's elect children and their spirits cannot forever deny the existence of God nor reject His Word altogether, never in the same way that the spirits of the beast and his non-elect followers can. And literally all elect spirits will indeed repent into the truth on the last day, after the perceptions of their unruly earthly flesh perish.

God's election does not depend on what one says, thinks or does through the mind and body of flesh, on choices made through the intellect and emotions of the flesh. God does not grant His eternal salvation through “sincere” carnal emotions reciting a prayer or creed, nor because the flesh submits to a magic physical ritual of any kind, like a “sacrament” administered by the flesh of a human sinner. Rather, God's election depends solely on God's judgments and decisions, on His choices made from the beginning of time. Since God's elect are those with immutable spirits born of God's Spirit, in His image and according to God's omniscient, omnipotent will and purposes, they cannot be lost to hell, not ever. Elect spirits forever bear the innate attributes and propensities of their Father in heaven, even from birth. So, since God is a Spirit, their spirits made in His image are always being drawn to God and His truths, even when their flesh is too afraid to believe. If their minds of flesh do not know much about their real heavenly Father, it does not mean that their elect spirits do not know Him and His ways, since the minds of their spirits are being continuously and directly taught by Him all their lives, from birth. Besides, God’s attributes, including all His ways, are also written in His earthly creations, not solely in His Word. So the elect learn from this all of their lives.

Because elect spirits are made in His image, those spirits bear the attributes of their Father’s pure and just love, or at least the desire to love in a God-like way. Then God's Spirit continuously seeks to teach their spirits how to love in His pure, just way, whenever the elect think with the minds of their spirits and not solely with their minds of flesh. In fact, since we cannot trust in what one might say, think or do through the flesh, that it will always actually reveal one’s spiritual attributes, we cannot judge anyone too quickly. Rather, we must wait patiently to see the presence of spiritual, God-like love manifests in their lives, if any. This kind of love is the only way we can identify the true elect, not by their religion, demeanor, clothing, race, sexual orientation or anything else of the flesh. We judge by whether or not the Holy Spirit of God has produced at least some of His fruits in their lives.

A just, equitable and God-like love from the spirit is always a fruit of Jesus’ Holy Spirit. Thus, every spirit that is able to love in a real, God-like way is born of God, and is one of His elect children, whose spirit actually knows the real Creator God (see I John 4:7-8), who is Jesus. Most are also corrupted by lies from Satan’s world order, but their spirits will respond to the real biblical truths from God’s Word. Still, since the elect have an inner conscience with a sense of justice, they will often respond very negatively to Christian concepts, due to the hypocritical evil and psychopathy they have seen in false humanistic churches. For Satan uses those fake churches as his chief tool to encourage and evangelize his most preferred religion of self-worshiping secular humanism. So the best way to evangelize is by being an example of true biblical Christianity, with a just, loving life in Jesus, as He fulfills His Law in us and through us. And there are indeed truly loving elect souls in the humanistic Roman Catholic church, as well as in other religions, including atheism, Buddhism, Hinduism, Islam and so on. But the elect will not leave those false religions until God calls them out of them. And He will not call many of those elect out of those false religions until He has His true church ready to receive them, which will not happen until the church revives in the sixth seal’s era.

The Great Prostitute has mixed her own cup of drunken delusions, which destroy innocent lives and will kill her as well. She mixed in the ingredients of pagan humanistic philosophies—those created by the beast's four kingdoms of Babylon, Persia, Greece and Rome—to her false interpretations of God’s Word. This intoxicating drink was used in her drunken spiritual and physical orgies, as she gratified her lust for power, then resulted in her unjustly shedding the blood of countless souls over the centuries. But soon she will be paid back in full for all her violence, for all her utterly ruthless exploitations, persecutions, murders and unjust wars. Near the end, God will double her madness and delusions, as she fornicates with the beast and his kingdom, as she compromises the truths of God more than she has ever done before in all her adulterous and very violent past. She cannot actually take the mark of the beast, and swear to worship him as her only god, since she could no longer falsely claim to be a church of the biblical God if she did that. But she will try to appease the beast in many other ways, even by betraying any true Christians she finds. For she has certainly done that in the past as well. Still, she will not succeed, and the power-obsessed beast will destroy her in the end.

The Revelation to John tells us that, “In her heart she says ‘I sit as a queen, I am no widow, and mourning I shall never see’” (Rev. 18:7b, ESV). And she will say this in spite of her abuse of power as a “queen” who made widows of so many women through her violent persecutions and unjust wars, after all the mourning and grieving she caused and will cause in the future. So God’s prophecy then declared, “For this reason her plagues will come in a single day, death and mourning and famine, and she will be burned up with fire; for mighty is the Lord God who has judged her” (18:8, ESV). The end of the Great Prostitute will be sudden, although a “famine” of her people will also be one of the plagues God sends to her, and famines take some time to occur. Likely, this means the beast will cut off her ability to trade with his kingdom, as a people exempt from needing to wear his mark on their hands or foreheads some weeks or months before he destroys her, to pressure her into submitting to his demands. So she will starve until he finally grows angry enough to utterly kill all her members and burn down the Vatican city. Because she always demanded an instant gratification of all her carnal cravings for power and luxuries, God will also gratify His wrath quickly against her.

Likewise, her prostitute daughters, the humanistic Protestant churches who glorified themselves and also lived in luxury, will also perish before this day of the Great Prostitute’s destruction. For the true revived church of Israel, after the sealing or sanctifying of the elect during the sixth seal’s era, will soon nullify the works of the devil in those fake churches, and build up the kingdom of God on earth. So all the elect in those false churches will flee into that revived true church. And this will

severely weaken those false churches, so greatly that they will all perish within a very short period of time. For the only ones keeping those fake churches alive are the honest, loving elect remaining in them, since the elect are the only ones who can maintain their false reputations as servants of God. And once only the non-elect remain in those false churches, with no way to pretend to be God’s servants and without the ability to exploit the elect any longer, they will simply abandon all of those churches and return to openly following the ways of Satan’s far more profitable secular world order.

From its beginning, the Roman church tortured and killed the Jews and the people of all opposing churches, driving them into exile without any food or supplies, forcing them into ghettos, demanding economic sanctions against them to cause famines among them. She persecuted them in a thousand different cruel and violent ways. She burned synagogues and rival churches, and even burned their members alive. So here John prophesied about these sins of this false church, the Great Prostitute, long before she began to commit them. And here God also prophesied that Jesus will judge her for those future sins, since God knew she would never truly repent from any of them. The most this false church has ever done is utter a few words of regret for its sins, and only in the times when it was politically expedient for her to do so, when it helped her dupe her members into thinking she was a compassionate servant of God. But she has always tried to falsely justify those sins with false logic and other non-biblical reasons. She has never admitted to her teachings were false, and had caused her to do those sins. Nor has she ever experienced any real godly sorrow and self-loathing for her sins, the kind that lead to true repentance and real fruits of repentance. She has never really repented into the real truths of God, nor has she ever preached the real New Covenant salvation through the Messiah, the direct personal work of God inside us, to write His Law on our hearts and in our minds.

So Great Prostitute has never truly repented at all, and she will not repent even to her bitter end. Her false motives have been proven by the fact that she never denounced any of her false doctrines and beliefs that caused her sins, none of her lies and delusions which caused her people to commit those sins. So she remains a toxic fruit tree which sheds a few of her flower petals to express her sorrow over her sins, but allows the root, trunk, branches and leaves to continue producing her evil fruits of sin and death. That church has never moved even one inch towards truly repenting into God’s truths and away from its false teachings. So, near the end of the beast’s seven-year reign, the beast will no longer allow her to buy and sell. Thus, she will begin to waste away in famine, mourning and death. Then the beast’s armies will pounce on her Vatican city and burn it to the ground, likely with many of her people inside its buildings. God Himself will cause the beast and his kingdom to do this, just as God caused Assyria and Babylon to destroy Israel when they became paganized false churches.

God will judge the churches who preach falsely in His name first, before He judges the secular sinners, since false churches commit the worst kinds of sins, according to His priorities set in what we call the Ten Commandments. And God is indeed so mighty that He can easily the minds of even His worst enemies to obey His will, whenever and however He wants them to obey it. So we need to realize that the beast’s actions against that Roman Catholic church will be the punishment of God against a very evil false church, not the persecution of true church by the beast. And this also illustrates that God sees that Roman church as being more evil than the beast’s demonic kingdom.

In fact, that church situated at or beside the “seven hills” of the city of Rome will be so humanistic that many people in the beast’s secular humanistic kingdom will grieve for her downfall, as well as many other secular humanists throughout the world. “And the kings of the earth, who committed … immorality and lived in luxury with her, will weep and wail over her when they see the smoke of her burning. They will stand far off, in fear of her torment, and say, ‘Alas! Alas! You great city, you mighty city, Babylon! For in a single hour your judgment has come’” (18:9-10, ESV). Remember,

this actually refers to spiritual adultery, not physical sexual immorality, although spiritual immorality usually leads to physical sexual immorality as well. This is a fornication of the spirit with other gods, while claiming to worship the real God, when religious human spirits makes covenants to esteem and serve spirits of human wanna-be gods or the demons who delude them, partaking with those other spirits in their lies and sins. But elect spirits find it impossible to form this kind of union with evil spirits. The inner consciences of elect spirits eventually prevent a full and true covenant union with fake gods. Although minds of flesh might silence the spirits of the elect for a time, and believe false doctrines promoting sins through peer pressure, elect spirits can never fully engage in any kind of real union with evil spirits, since elect spirits must truly love other spirits to make true covenants.

And those with elect spirits always remain mysteriously unacceptable to spirits born of Satan. So, no matter how hard the flesh of the elect might strive to be pleasing to the non-elect, the loveless non-elect will still hate the elect. The non-elect will never fully allow the elect to partake in the secrets of their inner circles, but merely use and abuse the elect for their own personal purposes. Elect minds of flesh often try to build covenants with non-elect spirits born of Satan, but these covenants of flesh can never be binding to elect spirits, since only God can ratify the covenants of human elect spirits, and only Satan can ratify the covenants of non-elect spirits. God gave every human spirit authority over its own body and mind of flesh. But the flesh has no authority to make covenants binding upon its ruling spirit. So, if elect flesh makes a solemn covenant to remain faithful to a false church, the elect spirit is not bound to that covenant, neither by God’s ratification nor by its spirit’s ratification.

If an elect spirit regrets a covenant made by its flesh, it is proof that the spirit itself did not bind itself in a genuine covenant, and that the elect spirit’s heavenly Father did not ratify that covenant with His seal of approval. It is proof that the covenant is not binding at all, since it was made only with the flesh, which has absolutely no authority over the whole person, no authority to make any kind of valid and binding covenants, no matter how “sincere” and committed the emotions and intellect of that flesh might be at the time when its covenants are made. And since God’s Spirit, the Owner of the whole person, did not ratify the covenant, any covenant made by the flesh is invalid and void.

Therefore, the whole elect soul, both its mind of the flesh and its mind of the spirit, cannot be bound to any promises of any covenant made through the emotions and intellect of its mind of flesh. The whole person is free from such covenants, free to obey God rather than man or demons. Only the covenants made by the elect spirits themselves can truly bind their lives together, and only if those covenants are ratified and maintained by God. But, if elect spirits make covenants ratified by their Owner, God—such as a marriage covenant—God Himself compels those spirits to serve one another faithfully in His name, through just love, and He will punish the flesh that dares to break that covenant through its carnal emotions or intellect. The flesh that breaks ratified spiritual covenants, or the flesh which attempts to create covenants with non-elect spirits or demons, will cast itself into many tribulations, and God may even choose to utterly destroy that flesh. Only non-elect spirits can possibly make binding covenants with the spirits of human or demonic wanna-be gods, since Satan has permission to ratify covenants between non-elect spirits. Thus, only non-elect spirits can commit the spiritual adultery or fornication of idolatry, and only if their spirits are willing to make inward covenants with other loveless spirits that willingly choose to worship them, to esteem and serve other wanna-be gods as a united entity, in covenants resembling the financial or slavery contracts made in prostitution. So only the non-elect shall be judged as spiritual prostitutes on the last day.

All who live in self-indulgent luxury are disobedient and unfaithful stewards of God’s property, for they never justly or equitably serve God’s creations according to His will, and never meet even the minimum requirements of their duty to love other spirits. Always, self-indulgent opulence steals

something from either God’s people or from the rest of His creations, causing losses to either human souls or to God’s creatures, and usually to both. Every form of excessive self-indulgence denies the reality that God owns them and owns all that they abuse to indulge in themselves. Yet most false churches partake in the sin of pursuing self-indulgent luxuries. They even esteem the most deluded and sinful wealthy souls among them, which is also a form of worshipping those sinners and oneself as greater gods than God. For it is a faith which believes God is not the Owner of all people and all of His other creations. It is a lie based on deluded arrogance. None can truly worship God without first admitting that one bears an obligation to do His will for all His creations. And none can truly worship God while worshiping Mammon, while trusting that his demonic invention of money gives one with the right to exploit God’s people and His other creations according to one’s own carnal will.

Many church members act no better than the non-elect citizens of Satan’s secular world order, since they are also non-elect citizens of Satan’s world order, but sent by that devil into false churches to deceive God’s elect children. So those church members are destined for hell, no matter what kinds of “sacraments” they partook in, no matter how sincerely their emotions and intellects of flesh recited a “Sinner’s Prayer.” For salvation is by the personal works of God’s Holy Spirit, when He wills to teach and train an elect spirit to fulfill His Law, not according to the Platonic myth of “free will.”

Therefore, God will be fully justified when He calls His elect to flee from the false church of the Roman Great Prostitute, so He can then cause Satan’s secular world order, led by the beast, to burn her to the ground. And our just and loving God Jesus will surely do this just before He comes to destroy the entire non-elect population of Satan’s world order, for the sakes of the elect. Yet look at the lengthy description of how so many in Satan’s world order will grieve over the destruction of that mother of all fake humanistic churches, particularly the merchants, whose exploited wealth and self-indulgent luxuries were falsely justified by that great fake church. And notice how they grieved only for a long list of material gains, not for all the human members of the Great Prostitute that died.

God’s prophecy about the death of the Great Prostitute states: “And the merchants of the earth weep and mourn for her, since no one buys their cargo anymore” (18:11, ESV). But they will not lament because so many people died. Rather, they will weep because they loose the market for their goods. And it lists what they sold, all kinds of expensive, vain luxuries, even slaves, because false churches make slaves of all their members. Then it says this about the merchants who sold those materialistic vanities: “The fruit for which your soul longed has gone from you, and all your delicacies and your splendors are lost to you, never to be found again. The merchants of these wares, who gained wealth from her, will stand far off, in fear of her torment, weeping and mourning aloud” (18:14-15, ESV).

So their whole souls, both their flesh and their spirits, entirely focused their entire lives on gaining wealth by selling goods to the members of that fake church throughout the world, since these were “merchants of the earth,” international sellers of religious goods, all kinds of very expensive and not so expensive religious goods which glorified that false church and her delusions. So those greedy souls will cry out, “Alas, alas, for the great city that was clothed in fine linen, in purple and gold, with jewels and with pearls! For in a single hour all this wealth has been laid to waste” (18:16-17, ESV). And, knowing that their religious luxuries cannot be sold to the beast’s secular worshipers, they will be financially ruined, permanently, with a reputation that will not allow them to enter into the secular markets. So these merchants, whose souls longed only for the “fruit” of their own vain and self-indulgent “delicacies” and “splendors” of worldly esteem, will have lost their hope in life.

Now this reiterates the prophecy that “the great city,” the Vatican city, will be “laid to waste” in a very short period of time, “in a single hour,” and all her “wealth” will be destroyed, not sold. And the

“wealth” of the Vatican city is so great that just the gold in it, by itself, is of such a vast quantity that it would bankrupt half the world, if it was collected and sold. The beast will swiftly annihilate this self-indulgent Great Prostitute, and burn her city to the ground. So her destruction will likely come through a highly organized purge that the beast and his council will have carefully planned. For it takes much planning to completely destroy an entity as large as the Great Prostitute in a short period of time, likely within a few days, which is what the expression “a single hour” figuratively refers to.

This indicates again that the Roman Catholic church is indeed the Great Prostitute referred to in this prophecy, since she is the only vastly wealthy entity which is associated with Rome and the Roman beast, but is a separate entity from the secular Roman beast, and hated by that beast. And she is the only entity that has and will have many international merchants conducting massive amounts of trade with her members, right up to the time when she is destroyed. By that time, she may be as wealthy and powerful as she was just before the Reformation, since most of her harlot daughter churches will have died by that time, after the sixth seal’s era and near the end of the beast’s reign in the seventh seal’s era. As she sits on the back of the beast, on the back of Rome, the capital city of the beast, she will remain very rich and powerful. But, once the beast no longer find her useful, he will destroy her, and the days of false humanistic churches will forever end. Jesus will never again allow any false churches on earth once He returns in power and glory within weeks after this event.

The Roman Catholic church is the richest church on earth, although the wealth of some cults have begun to rival her superior favor in the eyes of Satan. Yet those cults are fading, and many of their dissatisfied members are flocking to the autocratic order and security of the Roman church. That Roman church has so much gold that, if she put it on the market, the price of gold would fall to a fraction of its current value. And this is not to mention her real estate, art, jewels, cash and other assets. And she has always trusted in this wealth and in the power it buys, as well as in her great numbers of members. Throughout history, she has always placed infinitely more faith in her wealth, power and numbers than she has ever placed in God. But God will cause the beast to destroy her and all her wealth in a “single hour.” And her destruction will include the deaths of her harlot daughters.

Even the international business of shipping religious wares for the Roman Catholic church will be ruined when the central authority in its Vatican city is destroyed, since those goods will become instantly worthless. “And all shipmasters and seafaring men, sailors and all whose trade is on the sea, stood far off and cried out as they saw the smoke of her burning, ‘What city was like the great city?’ And they threw dust on their heads as they wept and mourned, crying out, ‘Alas, alas, for the great city where all who had ships at sea grew rich by her wealth! For in a single hour she has been laid waste’” (18:17b-19, ESV). All kinds of businesses throughout the world, all who depend on selling Roman Catholic religious items, will go bankrupt when that false church falls. The economic impact will be great, although not huge in terms of gross domestic products for most nations. Still, her destruction will be mourned by secular businesses. Yet Jesus will command and cause the elect to celebrate the destruction of that false humanistic church. He will put this word in all elect spirits, in heaven and on earth: “Rejoice over her [destruction], O heaven, and you saints and apostles and prophets, for God has given judgment for you against her” (18:20, ESV). And notice how this says there will be “saints,” sanctified elect, as well as “apostles,” teaching and judging elders with gifts of the Holy Spirit sent out on God’s missions, and true “prophets” speaking the very concepts that God commands them to utter, at the time of her destruction, which will be prior to Jesus’ second advent.

Of course, this must be speaking about the Vatican City, within the city of Rome. In John’s day, and every since then, many souls have cherished all kinds of romantic and superstitious notions about the “great” city of Rome. But history proves her to be a wretched city, built through cruel exploitation,

by enslaving countless innocent lives. Rome was raised on a foundation of vile corruption, voracious lusts and violent injustice. Nor has she ever truly repented from these sins, into the truth, and has never born any true fruits of repentance, such as by returning her ill-gotten wealth to the victims of her crimes. Likewise, neither has the Vatican city in her, since she is the very image of Rome, and has been the principal perpetrator of Rome’s lies and delusions throughout history. In fact, Rome could not have survived since the Middle Ages without that false humanistic church. Nor could the secular teachings of pagan secular humanism have flourished to this day without the help of that false church. So the beast’s empire actually ows its very existence to the Great Prostitute. Still, God will cause Satan to destroy his own faithful psychopaths in that false church as soon as they begin to interfere with the worship of his precious beast. For Satan will need all his non-elect brood to serve that beast with blind loyalty, in his desperation to vainly attempt to save his dying kingdom from God’s wrath, knowing that the end of his rule over sinners will end on the day that Jesus will return.

This prophecy keeps repeating that the Great Prostitute shall perish “in a single hour,” that is, very quickly, within a few days. Now, since all these merchants, as well as many others, will mourn over her destruction, the beast's decision to destroy her will be unpopular. The people of the beast’s kingdom, and many other secular humanists around the world, all who love the beast’s ways, will be upset with the beast’s actions against her, albeit mostly for economic reasons. Yet the Scriptures do not seem to indicate that the burning of the Great Prostitute will incite any kind of rebellion against the beast. So their love for her could will not be very strong. In fact, immediately after the beast burns the Vatican city, soldiers from all over the earth will march in his international army to war against Israel and camp below him at Armageddon, as his faithful troops. For they likely hope to regain their wealth lost through his destruction of false religion by plundering the land of Israel and her Christian allies. Since they only loved the Great Prostitute because they made a profit by trading with her, a new profit venture, like the plundering the Middle East, will appeal to them and comfort their mourning hearts. For the non-elect love the god-like power that wealth grants them in Satan’s world order, since all they really want in their empty, wretched lives is the delusion of being gods.

It is a command of God to rejoice when the false church is silenced. For God will destroy her for our sakes. No, we do not rejoice over the deaths of the wicked, for God Himself never does that either (Ezek. 18:23). Yet God's Word also says, “The wicked is overthrown through his evildoing, but the righteous finds refuge in his death” (Prov. 14:32, ESV). The wicked know their deaths will cast them into hell, into the eternal darkness of their own delusions and lies forever. Yet they compulsively pursue their evil delusions and lies, knowing their effects will destroy them physically and eternally. Inwardly, they expect all this with anxious hearts, but cannot repent, since their spirits crave nothing except the delusion of becoming gods who can gratify their own lusts at the expense of the lives they exploit and murder for that purpose. And they inherit this insatiable desire to become gods from their father, Satan, who also blindly seeks the power to be a god, who pursues this delusion even when he knows that it is hopeless and his time on earth is short, that the omnipotent true God will soon end it.

But the righteous find peace in their hearts at the moment of the wicked die, knowing they are freed from their tyranny. The awakened elect even find peace in their own deaths, and in the deaths of their elect loved ones, knowing that all the elect will go to their real home, to their Father in heaven, where all is just and all their works will be very fruitful, since the elect never truly die. But some sadness exists in elect hearts when they see the wicked die, knowing they will go to the emptiness of the bottomless pit for all eternity, wrapped forever in the utter darkness of their burning lusts and delusions. Still, there is relief, since we will no longer be plagued by their wickedness after their

deaths. Thus, after the Great Prostitute dies, so will her deceptions. And this shall free the deceived elect, causing them to seek refuge in the real Jesus, our God, and find it in His true, revived church.

Therefore, we will rejoice in the judgment from God against the Roman Catholic church, since God will judge, condemn and destroy her for our benefit. This is also why the awakened elect, the true Christians, refuse to join with the false churches, even in their works for common causes. Rather, there is only one kind of unity we seek, where all true Christians are made one in mind and purpose through the personal inner works of Jesus’ Holy Spirit upon our elect spirits. And we do not need the help of false churches to do our works for God, because God helps us. We do not need to put up with the compromises they inevitably demand from us if we work with them. We know that, no matter how small our numbers might be, our spirits will be trained to do God’s works justly and equitably through God-like love as Jesus works with us. So we reject the ecumenical movement and realize that any unity with false churches is worthless, since God does not work with them or teach them.

God can provide a victory as easily for one individual faithful servant as He can for a vast multitude standing on His side. Thus, we want only the kind of unity that exists solely in our God Jesus, where He causes all of us to think as with one mind and for one purpose. And this is the exact opposite of the kind of artificial unity achieved through compromise, the antithesis of the kind of unity which is practiced by the false humanistic churches, by the Great Prostitute and her harlot daughters. God's true elect can only truly unite through an uncompromising acknowledgement and commitment to the real truths taught directly and personally to our spirits by our one and only God and Master, Jesus.

But the Great Prostitute and her harlot daughters unite their dupes by deceiving, bribing, threatening or outright terrorizing them, to appease the demons who rule over their hearts. So true Christians will never be able to join with them in their corrupted works, and will not mourn over the destruction of those old, spiritually adulterous, false churches, which have stolen so much life and faith from God's elect for centuries. Instead, we will rejoice over their demise, especially the Roman church that has deceived, persecuted and killed the elect from her youth. She confused and persecuted the elect all her life, everywhere on earth. She stole the joy and freedom the could have had in the real salvation of the real Jesus. Her lies and the delusions, which she instilled in their minds of flesh, have always bred turmoil within their souls, irrational and unfounded fears, and emptiness in their elect spirits.

Of course, the city here called “Babylon” refers to the Vatican and the entire city of Rome, as well as to the Great Prostitute herself, who is a city within Rome. And her humanistic lies can be traced all the way back to Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon, who is the golden head of all four of Satan’s religious kingdoms, of Babylon, Persia, Greece and Rome. So we should not grieve over her destruction. For we need to remember the warning of Jesus to false teachers like those who remain in her: “Whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to sin, it would be better for him to have a great millstone fastened around his neck and to be drowned in the depth of the sea” (Mat. 18:6, ESV).

And this is why this prophecy declares, “Then a mighty angel took up a great millstone and threw it into the sea, saying, ‘So will Babylon, the great city be thrown down with violence, and will be found no more; and the sound of harpists and musicians, of flute players and trumpeters, will be heard in you no more, and a craftsman of any craft will be found in you no more, and the sound of the mill will be heard in you no more, and the light of a lamp will shine in you no more, and the voice of bridegroom and bride will be heard in you no more, for your merchants were the great ones of the earth, and all nations were deceived by your sorcery. And in her was found the blood of prophets and of saints, and of all who have been slain on earth’” (Rev. 18:21-24, ESV). The Great Prostitute will perish in violence.
