About this book.

Initially this book started as a deep dive into Acts, revealing what Scripture teaches us about the early Church and how sometimes, the Body of Christ tends to get off course.

But it also quickly became a reflective collection of my thoughts and prayers in short essay and poetry form as I've processed some church hurt and the questioning that often stems from it.

My heart for you as you read this book is aligned with Christ's: that no matter how man fails the Body, we don't allow the poor decision making of others to cloud our commitment to Jesus and His people. With the grace given to us through God and a mind sharply edged by the Word of Scripture, we can learn from past mistakes (ours and others') and stop being a church that is "Christian adjacent" and instead one that is fully rooted in Christ.
