Jezebel was a Phoenician princess a false prophetess and seductress, with an unhappy marriage to King Ahab of Israel . She was a devoted Baal worshiper and afflicted this upon the kingdom. Jezebel upheld her sulky husband via malice through treachery and un-Godly ways (murder, deceit and war ). After the dath of her husband she was thrown to a violent death at the hand of her servants under the instruction of Jehu .
