THE KING JAMES BIBLE: 1611 A.V.

Some of you will not like this, but I found this poem and it tells the truth whether you like it or not. Don't take my word for it, study it out for yourself. I realize that for many, to BELIEVE the King James is the very Word of God would mean they have to deny what they have been taught all of their lives and that is not easy. Compare Scripture with Scripture and see what changes are really being made when men rewrite the word of God. It would be a great shame to stand before our Lord and say, "I never studied it out Lord, I just believed what others told me."
JESUS DECLARED AS HE SPOKE ONE DAY,
THAT HEAVEN AND EARTH SHALL PASS AWAY;
BUT THE WORDS OF GOD SHALL ENDURE
TO TOUCH MEN'S LIVES AND MAKE THEM PURE.
THIS WORD OF HIS FROM DAY TO DAY
BROUGHT COMFORT ALL ALONG THE WAY;
BUT, SCHOLARS OF OUR DAY RELATE
HOW THE BIBLE IS NOW OUT OF DATE.
"IT MUST BE CHANGED," SO THEY HAVE SAID,
SO THAT IT CAN BE MORE EASILY READ.
AND SO NOW THEY HAVE DEVISED
THE NEW EDITION CALLED "REVISED".
BUT THOSE WHO WROTE THIS NEW REVISED,
MIRACLES, EVIDENTLY, THEY DESPISED.
NOT A MIRACLE OF CHRIST DO WE SEE
THOUGH OUT ALL OF HIS MINISTRY.
IF ANY DOUBT THAT THIS BE TRUE,
READ JOHN AND ACTS THRU AND THRU.
NOT ONE MIRACLE IS ASCRIBED TO CHRIST
AND THE WORD OCCURS ONLY ONCE OR TWICE.
THIS NEW BIBLE, YOU WILL SEE,
LEAVES OUT THE BLOOD OF CALVARY.
IT MAKES OF JESUS JUST A MAN
AND THUS DESTROYS SALVATION'S PLAN.
IN THE "NEW REVISED" THERE IS NOTHING SAID
ABOUT THE BLOOD THAT JESUS SHED;
IF ANY DOUBT WHAT I HAVE SAID,
LET COLOSSIANS 1:14 BE READ.
THE WORD "BEGOTTEN," IT IS EVIDENT,
THEY OMITTED WITH FULL INTENT.
"BEGOTTEN" IS THE WORD YOU SEE,
THAT MAKES OF CHRIST A DEITY.
THE OLD "KING JAMES" WILL DO FOR ME,
SO RICH-AND OF REVISION FREE.
UNTAMPERED BY THE HAND OF MAN,
IT REVEALS SALVATION'S PLAN.
