Reading and Resource List

Spiritual advancement is not primarily about reading and

study, but of doing and not doing. Nevertheless the author recommends the following books and resources.

• Online daily Mass at Youtube.com, search for “daily

Mass from Canada”, Archdiocese of Toronto offers the

best online daily Mass. Online perpetual adoration,

search “Adorecast”, from Our Lady of Sorrows

Catholic Church in Alabama.

• Catechism of the Catholic Church; it covers the

essential points of the faith, with extensive references

to the bible, saints and developed doctrine.

• Bible, especially the gospel and epistles; live the teachings of Jesus at a charitable and heroic level.

Daily reading of the bible will become more

productive as one advances in soul. The reader will

have a greater depth of understanding of the same

teachings, according to one’s increased participation

in Christ. Jesus read the same scripture scrolls as the

Pharisees, but had a greater depth of knowledge

because of his participation in God.
