The Author’s Lament, (2:11-22). This is the City’s Desolation from the Prophet’s Vantage Point. The prophet laments over the devastation of the city which was brought upon her by her sin, exhorts the people to cry to the Lord for help, and calls upon the Lord to look upon them in their inhumane state of death, 2:11-22.
