NDE’s do sometimes speak of other worlds, which are other realms of existence of which we do not have direct knowledge.79 Previously we have made discussion which included the nine orders of Heaven, that the Catholic Church acknowledges. NDE’s also record additional worlds beyond the current nine known.
Current doctrine acknowledges the existence of Heaven, Hell, Purgatory, and nine orders of Heavenly beings: cherubim, seraphim, thrones, dominions, powers, principalities, virtues, archangels, angels. These are “places” or persons existing in the 114
spiritual realm, but we have no direct knowledge of them, we know of them by some sort of revelation.KKKK
Science acknowledges the possibility of intelligent alien life outside of earth. The Catholic Church presents no moral or theological objection. God is free to create moral beings in addition to the several species already known. It is presumed that God would want to make union with these beings he created, just as he desires union with humans, angels, and ultimately all of creation.
One possible theological problem is that the human Jesus is not the same species as any non human alien species, resulting in an inability to make union with the alien species; but this objection has already been solved.LLLL Most of the moral beings of the universe (principalities, thrones, dominions, angels, etc.) have attained divine inclusion into Trinitarian Christ, the Son of God, before the human Jesus Christ existed.MMMM This KKKK St. Thomas Aquinas writes that each angel is a specific species. If each human has a unique guardian angel, then there are at least seven bil ion distinct species of moral beings in existence. Does each angel and human then have a separate operator/maintainer in the realm of powers or virtues?
LLLL How do we know that potential alien moral species have fallen, and need salvation? In fact Jesus Christ was originally planned as humanities communion or reunion with Christ, not as a sacrifice for sin, (which was never part of the original plan). Additionally, how do we know that Martians or Venusians could not attain divine reunion via Jesus. We know for certain that Trinitarian Christ, the Son of God may make divine union with any moral being in the universe. In fact Christ intends to make divine reunion with every element of the universe, so “that God may in all in all things”, (1Cor 15:28).
All of creation was created for the purpose of reunion with its creator.
MMMM What is the difference and unity between Trinitarian Christ, the Son of God, Jesus of Nazareth, Jesus Christ? Read the two sections of this book,
“Spirit” starting on page 10, and “Christology”, starting on page 15.
Concerning the main point of the paragraph; we know that the nine Heavenly orders of beings did attempt communion with Trinitarian Christ. We know this because some did not complete this union, and are now the devils.
Those who did make divine union (prior to the existence of Jesus Christ), must 115
communion was made directly by the Trinitarian Son of God, who could do this again, and perhaps already has, with an alien species that we are simply unaware of.
The Trinitarian Son of God may make multiple and different non human incarnations, and already has.NNNN Bread and wine are the two that we know of. Perhaps he has already done so in some other part of the universe, or in a parallel universe which we simply cannot observe.
Recall that the only begotten Son of God is Trinitarian Christ, who is the second person of the Trinity of God. Jesus Christ is a physical human extension of Trinitarian Christ, the two are one divine person. If Trinitarian Christ were to make additional incarnation as a Martian, there would still only be one Son of God…Trinitarian Christ. Or if Christ wished he could make divine union with extraterrestrials via the Eucharist; or directly from Heaven, as he did with the nine known Heavenly orders of beings. At the unlikely extreme possibility, Christ could create extraterrestrial beings, with no intention of ever making union with them. Therefore, we see that Christ’s incarnation as an extraterrestrial is possible, but not even necessary.
have made it directly with the Son of God, who is Trinitarian Christ.
NNNN The word “incarnation” refers to something being made directly by Christ, This incarnation is usually neither divine, nor complete. Catholic doctrine has the human soul coming directly from the substance of Christ; but it is neither divine, nor the completeness of all the attributes of Christ. A human lacks many other attributes found in nature Eucharistic bread and wine are not an incarnation from Christ, but an inclusion into Christ. The bread and wine exist already, all that is needed is inclusion which makes the Eucharist, “the body, blood, soul and divinity of Christ.”. In the final formation of the universe, Christ will include into himself, all of creation : bread, wine, pets, the lion who lies down with the lamb, every atom of the universe, so that “God will be all in all”, 1Cor 15:28).
116
Additional moral beings might exist in serial fashion, in a repeated Big Bang/Big Crunch cycle; and/or they could exist in parallel now, in a material or spiritual state, within or without our system of time and dimensions.OOOO Whatever the situation, Christ created them for the sake of eventual reunion, and would have made such plans from the beginning.
The Catholic Church welcomes any additional moral beings in the universe as part of the family of God. The Church actively seeks knowledge of any such beings, to form community with them, as is the intention of God our creator.

We now briefly consider the ways in which creation could have come from God. Multiple creations, other worlds, past, present, future and parallel creations are all included in the Churches current models of creation, and teaching God may create directly or indirectly or even use both methods. The leading evolutionary theory is the model of the “Big Bang”, by which our complex and diverse physical universe evolved from a simple origin.
Catholic understanding of a “Big Bang” act of creation has energy and matter, and possibly created moral virtues, OOOO Time proceeds at an individual pace for each person, and each entity, such as an atom; each entity is to some degree, its own universe. Now, think of a bit of space, so small that it cannot be moved through, (like the singular piece of energy-matter at the birth of our universe). If there is no change in effect, there is no change in cause. If we do not move, or breathe or think, there can be no causes or effects for our non action. Time exists only because change exists, and the reverse is true, space as we know it, exists, only because we have the time to travel through it.
Now what if all of these space-time constructions were permanently shifted a bit so that they never intersected in any dimension of space or time? The result would be parallel universes. Perhaps other effects are also at work such as subatomic spin applied to particles, resulting in many unobservable orders of dark energy and matter.
117
unrolling from a single super dimension. This first, superstatic, superdimension, which then unrolls into others is termed scientific God, which is constantly being discovered in greater quality. When this scientific God is linked to moral cause and effect, it also becomes moral God.
The Big Bang expansionary model was first proposed scientifically by Catholic priest and physicist Georges Lemaitre.
The idea of an expansionary universe from a single infinite point, its contraction and repetition was first recorded 3500 years ago in Hindu scriptures. Pope Pius XII was the first pope to accept the theory as possible in God’s creation of the universe.
Included in this expansionary type of creation model is the possibility of its retraction back into its own first super dimension, and even the repetition of this cycle, this is the Big Bang/Big Crunch, Big Creation Cycle, as proposed by many scientists and acknowledged as a possibility by the Church. In accepting a scientific “Big Bang” type model of creation, the possibility of the “Big Crunch” and the “Big Cycle” goes with it.
This cycle of creation (directed by God), necessarily includes a multiple number of other worlds. It would be possible and even likely that Christ the creator might direct his creation in different ways during each creation/redemption cycle, or even in parallel cycles. PPPP
PPPP We note the difference between atheist and Christian creation models.
One has creation formed from nothing, by nothing. The other has creation formed from nothing, by God. But true nothing does not exist in the universe.
The vacuum of outer space, or the empty space within an atom is shown to be dark energy which spontaneously produces matter/anti-matter paired particles. These reunite and convert back to energy; they do not produce nothing, and they do not come from nothing.
The Catholic model has God alone, and as the entire universe, at some distant point. God withdraws his attribute of divinity and eternity from a selected set of matter/energy, which is now creation. The attribute of being remains in his creation, and this is termed divine omnipresence. It is not a 118
Because the Big Bang/Big Crunch/Big Creation Cycle is accepted as being possible, the Church accepts that individual creation cycles would likely not be identical repetitions, but that the salvific local incarnation of the only Son of God may not always be a first century carpenter called Jesus. The same spirit of the Father would animate the local Christ, but he (or she) might have a different face, or even be of a different species of being, according to the local type of species which the Christ came to sanctify. In our own local creation, the Son of God has at least three incarnations, the human Jesus, and the bread and wine of the Eucharist. There is no reason why the Son of God could not make a fourth incarnation in some distant galaxy.
It is a moral assumption that Christ would make communion with his creation before its retraction back into its primal state. The Trinity, including the Trinitarian Son of God, (Christ) are necessary elements here, but any created incarnation of the Son of God, (such as Jesus) might differ with each creation cycle.
matter of divinity remaining present, but of God sustaining the existence of his creation.
One interesting variant of the Big Bang has local galaxy crunches along with continued expansion outside of the local crunch. It has been observed that the universe is increasing its rate of expansion, which may lead to localized crunches due to an overabundance of local gravity. Those regions which continued in their expansion would eventually have no interaction with our local universe and would form additional universes within the multiverse.
This could produce localized creation cycles. It is possible that super black holes are the remnants of local crunched creation cycles.
Hell is a possible obstacle in the cyclic creation idea. While it is expected that anyone divinely existing within the body of Christ would survive the annihilation of creation during its contraction, what would happen to those in Hell? Would they be annihilated along with the rest of creation. Remember, here we have creation (cause and effect) somehow contracting into eternity, (unified existence of cause and effect). Creation would not become nothing, creation would become eternity, and a member of God.
119
The apostle Paul seems to confirm this idea that all creation including the created humanity of Jesus will retract into God. The divinity of Jesus, which is the Son of God will remain, and whole of the universe will again be uncreated God alone, awaiting the next creation cycle. “And when all things have been subjected to Him, then the Son Himself will be made subject to Him who put all things under Him, so that God may be all in all.”, (1Cor 15:28). From Mt 24:35, “Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.“ These two verses strongly support the idea of a Big Crunch, and it is God’s decision whether to create again.
The second person of the Trinity, who is Christ the Son of God, is the non-optional revelation of God, but his incarnation as a human person, or an angelic or Martian person is optional.
This is the idea that was understood by Howard Storm during his extensive NDE.80 During his NDE, Howard asked and was told that many other worlds exist within our dimensions of universe and outside of it, in other dimensions. These worlds contain intelligent moral beings, and Howard was even shown a parade of images of these beings, some appeared human, but others less so. It is unlikely that any Catholic bishop would deny the possibility of extraterrestrial alien life in the universe. The Vatican has said little, but what it has said has been positive.
Theological questions necessarily arise, and the reader should read the appendix on extraterrestrial beings.
The idea of cyclical creation and reunion is the 21st century version of “earth as the center of the universe”, which pitted the Church against science and its spokesman Galileo. If creation is cyclical, then Christ is its principle and creator, and there is no rule that says each cycle need be identical.
Furthermore, Christ is not obligated to crunch one creation 120
before making another. Some NDE’s speak of current other worlds of moral beings. 81
On the reunion side of creation, as we advance in Christ, our lives have more elements of eternity in them, until finally full inclusion into Christ, who is not only human Jesus, but the principle and end of creation.
Other worlds, either current or of a past creation cycle,
having moral beings would be a source of past lives mentioned
in some NDE’s.
During Wilson’s NDE, he was shown the ‘big picture’
regarding other worlds and possibilities. What he saw would fit right into a quantum mechanics class, in which all possible worlds exist simultaneously, but in different levels of reality.QQQQ Wilson likened what he saw to a sort of wheel, which might best be described as the intellect of God. Every existing idea, first exists as an internal revelation of God, which may be given independent created existence.RRRR Similar wheels within wheels, having eyes are recorded by the prophets Ezekiel and Daniel in the bible. In short; the eyes represent God’s omniscience, and the wheels within wheels represent God’s ability to go anywhere and do anything, and even to make several actions at once, in many dimensions, (universes).
“This wheel wasn’t something that moved towards me through the world, or through reality somehow, that was an illusion that my senses were constructing for me. The wheel was RRRR The strange findings of quantum physics are now mainstream science. If we see God as all possibilities (remember sin is whole act which is lacking)3, some of which he wills into a greater level of being, then we ful y appreciate the teaching of Jesus that “With God, all things are possible”, Mt 19:26).
Internal to God there exists all possibilities, some of which are given an additional level of created being. Wilson’s NDE is confirmation of this.

reality, itself. It represented every conceivable possibility for a life, or for a world that could ever be envisioned or imagined. As it approached, I became aware that what we call our world was contained within it. It was simply one of the numberless slots or paddles in the 'water wheel'. It had always been so. My life, your life, our world, all of us.” SSSS
