Bryan Britton is a retired financial executive living in Umlanga Rocks, a village on the eastern shores of KwaZulu Natal, South Africa. He is the father of three boys and grandfather to seven grandchildren.

Author of 'Stepping Stones', 'A Bridge Too Far', 'Umhlanga Rocks', and 'Last Gasp'. Retired after forty years in Financial Management.The author was educated in South Africa, at Christian Brothers College and the University of the Witwatersrand. He has spent 40 years in the field of financial management and venture capital. During this time, he was involved in a wide variety of industries, ranging from beverages, security, banking, design,advertising, small business, healthcare, auditing, stock-broking and software development.

He suffered a stroke in 2005 which forced to retire from active business and thereafter he dedicated himself to writing on topics of youth, motivation, politics and education. 'Umhlanga Rocks' is his first attempt at a work of fiction and 'Last Gasp' his second.
