Grew up in California. Moved to Japan, then Malaysia. Have worked as an educator, publisher and translator. Formerly active in music as well. Have always loved reading and writing; I hope (at least some of) you will enjoy (at least some of) what I've written.

Music, particularly local or independent artists. Fiction in English and Japanese; recently, non-fiction as well, included a newfound interest in history. Irony, psychology, wordplay, language itself, and sitting and thinking; alternatively, just sitting.
