I own a boat shop on the banks of the Vaal Dam in South Africa. During a particularly quiet winter a few years ago I used the time to write my first thriller, 'Smith'. The bug got a hold of me and since then I've written eight books in the series. The books in order are: Smith, Boomerang, Ladybird, Occam's Razor, Harlequin and Selene which is released 1 May on Amazon. 'Phobia', a series of five early DS Smith cases is also available. Horsemen, the seventh book in the series is also available. The Beekeeper, a new series set in Cornwall featuring the DC Harriet Taylor was released by Joffe Books on 22 May.

Reading, sailing & guitars. I particularly enjoy the Scandinavian morbidity of Hakan Nesser, Karin Fossum, Lars Kepler, Jo Nesbo, Jussi Adler Olssen and the morose Henning Mankell.
