Born in the English East Midlands, I belong to the 'baby boomer' generation that was born soon after Britain had been crippled by two major conflicts within the space of thirty one years. After dropping out from Art School, in what became known as 'the summer of love,’ I spent the greater part of my working life involved in the Roof Thatching industry. However, I also found time to travel and I have contributed towards the increase in world population. I now live in Oxfordshire, England.
As a young child, I was fascinated by nature and the past, and I attended many geological field trips from the age of seven. Later, this interest expanded to include environmental biology and, later still, anthropology. I am continuing to read human biology and take a keen interest in the understanding of the natural world.
