
About the Conflict Management Program at SAIS
The Conflict Management Program at the Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies in Washington, D.C., is a unique program of graduate studies that teaches and conducts research into the field of conflict management within the context of international relations. It maintains a Toolkit of conflict management concepts and issues an annual report based on an onsite inspection on sources of endemic conflict and recommendations for its management in a specific conflict area (2006 & 2007 Haiti, 2008 Northern Ireland, 2009 Cyprus, 2010 Kosovo). It also conducts PeaceKidZ, a teaching program in selected Washington D.C. middle schools, also available as a manual.
