Time like an eagle flies,
To you it never lies,
So constant it has its pace,
As it never waits to begin the race.
Oh time if I could turn you back,
I will amend where I did slack,
Yet my request you never grant,
Though in your garden my pleas I plant.
Time would have me make a wish,
To see my bliss and there my hands reach,
So sad it teleports me not to my future bliss,
Though at your feet I bow and kiss,
As I stand in daily illusions,
Hoping time would fulfil my visions.
