Image List:

1. Pic01 (Cover Image): Taken by Jaxs Powell. This photo of me with my arms raised in the air and the seagulls above, is depicting the fact that I no longer have any crackers for them, and also depicts the name of this book, The Thoughts of an Image Writer.

2. Pic02 (Inside Front Image): Taken by Jaxs Powell. In this photo of me and the seagulls, I actually have them taking the food out of my hand, and you can see the crackers in my other hand.

3. Pic03 (A Fairy’s Light): Taken by Kimberly Johnson. This light up fairy is a collectible porcelain and cloth doll that I bought several years ago and liked so well that I took a photo of it when it was lit up.

4. Pic04 (Bamboo): Taken by Jaxs Powell. This was taken at a zoo in Florida.

5. Pic05 (Fire Tree): Taken by Jaxs Powell. This photo was taken during a storm, and between the lightning and the clouds, the tree looked like it was on fire.

6. Pic06 (Flowering Trees): Taken by Jaxs Powell. This is a photo of a Water Oak Tree. It produces a furry pollen pod on it, before it produces the acorns that turn into more oak trees.

7. Pic07 (Keep Looking):  Taken by Jaxs Powell.  This  was  taken  while  on  a Greyhound  bus  heading  back  to  Florida  from  Michigan  while  traveling  through Tennessee. I was asleep at the time it was taken.

8. Pic08 (Snow Abounds): Taken by Kimberly Johnson. This was taken while I was visiting a friend in Saginaw, Michigan. He had squirrels, cats, and birds that came around all the time to be fed and he kept them very well fed. I was lying on the carpet, looking out the sliding glass door when this was taken.

9. Pic09 (Spring Abounds): Taken by Kimberly Johnson. This photo was taken while I was taking a walk down East Ashton Street in Beaverton, Michigan, where my father lives. I thought this was a very cool looking scene, so I took a picture.

10. Pic10 (Sunrise Sunset): This was taken by Jaxs Powell. It was taken while walking along the Atlantic Ocean in Vero Beach, Florida. The sun was setting in the west at the time the image was taken.

11. Pic11 (The Colors of Fall): Taken by Jaxs Powell. This was taken in Michigan while out on a walk, during a visit to my father in Albright Shores, Beaverton, Michigan.  The trees were so full of color and look so beautiful, that we thought it a good idea to bring some of that atmosphere back to Florida with us, since we don’t see four seasons here.

12. Pic12 (The Ice Storm): Taken by Kimberly Johnson. This is a picture of my father’s pond in Michigan when it froze over for the winter.  It makes it look like an ice storm came through and just dropped a layer of ice on the top of the pond.

13. Pic13 (The Lone Pine): Taken by Kimberly Johnson. This was taken on a visit to my father’s house in Albright Shores, Beaverton, Michigan, on a fall day, when I could see just this pine tree standing alone in front of all the rest of the trees in the background.

14. Pic14 (The Pond): Taken by Kimberly Johnson. This is a photo of my father’s pond.  It  had  overflowed  with  the all  the  rain  that  they  had  been  getting.  With the overflow, it wound up going all the way down the street and covering most of the street in the process. The ditches that normally took up the excess water from the rains, was cut off by the input of sewer lines.

15. Pic15 (Thoughts): Taken by Jaxs Powell. This is an image of a statue that sits downtown in historic Vero Beach in front of the old courthouse and across the street from Pocahontas Park.

16. Pic16 (Village Winter): Taken by Kimberly Johnson. This was taken while visiting my friend in Saginaw, Michigan. It is looking out from his living room sliding glass door into the courtyard of the Fox Glen Apartment buildings where he lived. With the way this photo was taken, it makes the apartments look like a little village.

17. Pic17 (Being Apart): Taken by Kimberly Johnson. This was taken while sitting out on the porch of the apartment that Jaxs and I were at for a short time in 2009. This was actually a stormy day, but a warm and good day for sitting out watching the lightning in the sky.

18. Pic18 (Back Cover Image): Taken by Jaxs Powell. This was taken while we were sitting at the beach on a beautiful day in January.
