Humans are disgusting
In every conceivable way.
We throw our garbage on the ground
In rivers, streams and in between.
Everywhere you go
Trash is there to see.
What beach once was beautiful
Is now a garbage heap.
The oceans of the world
And all of the creatures therein
Get hurt by us
When trash we do throw in.
If humans could only learn
To do what is right
Maybe the world would be beautiful
Like it was at its first birth.
