A Snail’s Shell
When you find a shell
Have you ever wondered
What kind of animal lived
Inside of it?
A snail is a wonderful animal
With a shell to collect
But please be nice to them
And wait until they shed it to take it.
A snail’s home
Is its shell
As it grows
The shell grows too.
Some Snail shells are very small
Some are exceptionally large
Most swirl in a circle
But some of them do not.
So when you find a snail shell
Look and make sure it’s not occupied
If you find one that is filled
Please put it back so the snail can live.
