Fearless.

But not because I carry a gun,

Or even that I've overcome,

But because I am the weakest one.

Nothing to prove,

No one to beat;

Victory comes in my own defeat

And so I am made fearless.

Defiant.

But not because I love the fight

Or shut my eyes to the changing light,

But because I'm weak and foolish and safe;

Held tight within Love's strong embrace.

And so I am defiant.
