Spaceship

The spaceship travels across

The clouds

Headed towards

The distant horizon

Headed towards

The ocean

Headed towards

Civilization

Headed towards

Its home

Travelling across the clouds

It sees a seagull

That flies along its path

With the spaceship

As the spaceship wanders

Throughout the stars at night,

Waiting until it can wander

In the morning sun

Waiting until it can wander

With other spaceships

To an unknown destination

Waiting until it can wander

To a obscure village

That the people

Will welcome it with open arms,

Warm and friendly arms,

Waiting to catch the spaceship

Within their arms

As it flies overhead

With its armada of ships,

Just like it,

Flying to the village

Through the fluffy white clouds

Flying to the village

In the twinkling stars of the night

Before they fly into the hands of parents

Standing in grass field out in the village

The parents

That returned the toy spaceships

To their son

Playing under the full moon and twinkling stars

Of this night

In the village,

Hidden away from most eyes to find it....
