My feet were exposed
And I felt a tugging underneath
I felt myself becoming aware,
I waited to see-
The tentacles wrapped and coiled
Around my body and legs
Until finally it stopped at my mouth
Tempting and haunting me.
I felt comfortable to speak to it,
The strange monstrosity-
But I was quickly awakened
I remembered my oath to my family.
Before my very eyes, the tentacles
Erased, dissipated.
I saw particles drifting away.
