I suppose it’ll suffice-
This isolated existence-
A shadow of a former life.
I will be content with mediocrity.
There is much I long for-
None of which is fitting for me.
I will get back into my lane-
It’s the mantra spoken frequently.
Idly, I’ll sit in my chair-
Accepting what is presented to me.
