My Ode to Christmas!

This is a very religious holiday,
Each faith celebrates in their own way,
Jesus Christ was born to Joseph and Mary,
In a Bethlehem manger-for all to see,
The son of God also-oh almighty Lord,
Christ’s birth was magical and hit a chord,
The town was a buzz and full of delight,
Everyone came to view Jesus-oh holy night,
We must never forget what Xmas is about,
It is truly a special occasion-no doubt,
Of course Christmas is all about the kids,
It’s a joyous time as they blow their lids,
All the presents stacked under the tree,
Santa Claus was here-they’re full of glee,
Xmas is TOO commercialized I have to say,
Do people REALLY know the meaning today,
The tree sparkles bright and is very nice,
What is the meaning of it I must suffice,
As we grow older Xmas is just another day,
It’s still all about families I must say!
