So Chongju (1915~2000)
Born in North Cholla, Midang So Chongju published his first collection of poems, Flower Snake, in 1938. Korea’s greatest twentieth century poet, his impact has been enormous. His poems express a transcendent vision of Korea crafted from the historic past.
