Kim Kirim (1909~)
Born in North Korea, Kim Kirim was educated in Tokyo. A key figure in the introduction of modernism and the scientific method to the Korean poetry world, the imagist techniques so very apparent in his poems gave his work a special flavor in its time. He was taken north in 1950.
