Let Us Give Thanks
Thanksgiving
Some are grieving
Feeling all alone
No real home
Some have Loveless lives
Staying alive
Searching to give thanks
Praise
Listening to what they say…
Working on being grateful, day by day
The good Lord will bring us peace
For he loves us eternally
I pray to open my eyes to see
The bright yellow, sun, and beautiful fall trees
To hear the joyful sounds of children
Their innocence and unconditional love, will give us special blessings
Smell the thanksgiving turkey in the oven
Ask God to help us remember his blessings
The stars in the sky
The big blue sky
Brings a twinkle to one’s eyes
Surely, there is at least something to be grateful for
From my heart to yours
I wish you a happy and peaceful Thanksgiving
