Violence over the Land
Over here over there
Violence appears to be everywhere
The fate of the fallen world
Threatens our little boys and girls
Our teens and adults
The sad result
Is less peace and brotherhood than ever before
Anger and fear and frustration, is felt more and more
Little hope is offered to settle the score
Endless violence and intense pain
Saturates the heart like the fallen rain
Folks are weary
Everything feels dreary
People fight hard to make a change
None comes rather it’s, the blame game
God is called upon, in great despair
Will the world be saved with grace and flare?
