WOMEN AND POWER

Power is not an end in itself.

Power, history warns us,

tends to corrupt.

If power can be the means

by which every man, every

woman, every child,

at the least, survives,

and at the ultimate, flourishes,

then it becomes a holy mission.

If women get their power

when women get their power,

will it be dispensed with

wisdom and compassion?

That enigma is, as yet,

undiscovered.
