For Absent Friend
White card. Written with lemon.
To read it or to burn it?
The name of a man?
I would burn myself instead.
My life is like the wind born in nightfall's mist.
It used to love the sea and to fight against The shore in which it could not ever see its faith.
It sought relief in there, but it was all in vain.
And only quiet echoes answered it and pain.
A how the wind was willing like the cloud to be its guide, The storm to be his sister, that would bring the lightnings, But not even a seagull followed up its way.
And counting its own footsteps, it knew it had to wait Because for death was early, and for love-too late.
Spending my life running, away from masses That easily turn into a mishmash of blood and carrion.
Away from people's good intentions, Offering us buns with strychnine.
