I stand in a slice of rain
Damp with yesterday’s tears.
Your face hazes in and out;
Eyes that never dry,
Follow me everywhere,
Burning me to the core.
Blood and ink stans
Wash over my spirit
In this storm never subsides
Standing in this slice of rain
I am never alone…
Your image is everywhere.
