Book Description HTML

What does it mean to say, ‘I am pleasure’,or ‘I am love’, instead of simply saying I seek pleasure or love? Remember Ghandi’s famous quote:- ‘Be the change you want to see in the world’. When we consider these statements in the first person present tense, how do we feel about them? Twenty-one Levels of Self-Deception looks at the very personal questions of love, pleasure, beauty and grace and seeks to explore them within broad contexts of human thought. Always mindful - as the title suggests - that in arriving at 'final' answers, we are often, if not always, deceiving ourselves.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Tom Wallace

I have written essays for a number of years. 'Twenty-One Levels of Self-Deception' is the first time I have tried to gather my thoughts into some kind of coherent system! I would really like people to get in touch via the Free eBooks website and share comments about the work.
